Abstract

This study discusses the maqāṣid al-syarī'ah approach in interpreting the verses of the Qur'an with a focus on two monumental tafsir books, namely Tafsir al-Qurṭubī and Tafsir al-Miṣbāḥ by M. Quraish Shihab. The background of this study is based on the need to understand how the exegetes apply the principles of maqāṣid al-syarī'ah in contextualizing legal verses. With a content analysis approach, the qualitative research method uses a comparative study of the two tafsirs. The results show that Tafsir al-Qurṭubī tends to emphasize the normative-classical approach with a focus on legal derivation (istinbāṭ al-aḥkām) according to the fiqh tradition. At the same time, Tafsir al-Miṣbāḥ prioritizes a contextual approach and benefit value. This methodological difference indicates a dialectic between the classical exegetical heritage and the needs of contemporary society. This research contributes to developing maqāṣid-based exegesis that integrates tradition and contemporary reality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the verses of the Qur'an related to the environment through the perspective of contemporary interpretation. The study focuses on how the ecological messages in the Qur'an provide an ethical-theological foundation for humans as khalīfah to maintain the balance of nature. The research method used is qualitative-descriptive with a library research approach, reviewing classical and contemporary interpretation literature, and the latest scientific articles. The results of the study show that verses such as QS. Al-A'raf (7): 56–57, QS. Ar-Rum (30): 41, and QS. Al-Baqarah (2): 164 provides a comprehensive picture of the importance of maintaining ecosystem sustainability and the impact of environmental damage caused by human actions. The analysis of ecological interpretation confirms that rain, plants, and the balance of nature are manifestations of God's grace and human ethical-spiritual responsibilities. Thus, ecological interpretation can be used as a new paradigm in environmentally aware Islamic education and an Islamic contribution to solving the global ecological crisis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of women's access to Islamic financing products on family welfare. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method conducted on female customers of Islamic financial institutions in Ternate City. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The results show that access to Islamic financing has a positive impact on five main dimensions of family welfare: improving household finances, continuing children's education, improving health quality, household harmony, and women's empowerment. Islamic financing schemes such as murābaḥah, qardhul ḥasan, and microfinance help women increase business capacity, allocate funds for education and health, and create family stability. This study confirms that Islamic financing is not only an economic instrument, but also a social and spiritual instrument that supports the achievement of maqāṣid al-syarī'ah and holistic family welfare.

Abstract

Various factors influence consumer repurchase decisions in the culinary sector, but few studies have quantitatively measured their individual contributions. This study aims to examine the influence of digital marketing, price, interior design, and taste on repurchase decisions at Fadhil Songka Restaurant, Palopo City. The approach employed was a quantitative explanatory design, utilizing survey data from 205 randomly selected consumers. The results of the partial regression analysis showed that all four variables had a positive and statistically significant effect on repurchase decisions (p < 0.05). Simultaneously, the research model was statistically significant (F = 34.268, p < 0.001) and explained 39.5% of the variance in repurchase behavior (R² = 0.395). These findings underscore the importance of optimizing digital marketing strategies, establishing competitive prices, and enhancing aspects of the dining experience, including interior design and food quality. Future research is recommended to explore other factors that influence customer loyalty in the culinary industry.

Abstract

Social entrepreneurship in agriculture develops in line with the development of social entrepreneurship. The lack of interest among the younger generation in working in agriculture remains a significant challenge to the development of social entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector, particularly in West Java Province. This study aims to develop a strategy for cultivating agricultural social entrepreneurs among millennial generation farmers, based on the primary challenges in developing agricultural social entrepreneurs and the readiness of millennial farmers in West Java, as well as other stakeholders, to apply the concept of social entrepreneurship to agricultural businesses. The research uses qualitative studies to comprehensively capture the problem situation in developing the human resource capacity of millennial generation farmers, especially in rural West Java. The results of the research indicate that two progressive strategies (SO) need to be implemented. Firstly, the millennial farmer community must ensure that assistance programs from both the government and other parties run smoothly and involve as many parties as possible that may be positively affected. The second strategy is that millennial entrepreneurs, through the use of technology, must innovate to enhance the branding and marketing of processed agricultural products, leveraging existing government programs for support.

Abstract

This study examines market segmentation and targeting strategies for online food delivery applications in Jabodetabek. It employs primary data collected through online questionnaires from 150 active users of food delivery apps, aged 17 and above, who used the services at least three times in the past month. The research utilizes a descriptive approach with hierarchical and K-means cluster analysis to segment users based on demographic and psychographic characteristics, focusing on the 7P marketing mix attributes. The results reveal two distinct market segments, with the first segment, characterized by a high preference for convenience and accessibility, identified as the most promising target due to its higher mean score (3.98) for using apps when time-constrained or hungry. This segment values practical features like real-time order tracking and diverse menu options. The findings indicate that users prioritize ease of use, promotional offers, and professional courier services, with less sensitivity to price when service quality is satisfactory. The study highlights the importance of understanding consumer preferences for tailored marketing strategies in the competitive food delivery industry.
