Abstract

Liquid organic fertilizer derived from liquid tofu waste is an example of converting waste into valuable resources. The process of making liquid organic fertilizer from liquid tofu waste involves the fermentation of microorganisms that break down the organic materials in the waste. The result of this fermentation is a nutrient-rich solution containing beneficial microbes for plants. The fermentation process takes 15 days to become liquid organic fertilizer, with the addition of EM4 (Effective Microorganisms 4), a solution of brown sugar, and sufficient water. Utilizing liquid tofu waste to create liquid organic fertilizer can help mitigate the negative environmental impacts of improperly disposed liquid waste. By transforming waste into useful fertilizer, it can contribute to establishing a more sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural system. This activity involves the tofu industry located in the Kuncen village of Padangan sub-district, as well as members of the Community Service Program for Students (KKN-TK) from Group 13 at Bojonegoro University.

Abstract

Tofu liquid waste is a by-product of the tofu industry when processing soybeans into tofu. Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5 of 2014, tofu liquid waste has a maximum parameter content of BOD 150 mg/L, COD 300 mg/L, TSS 200 mg/L and pH between 6-9. Tofu liquid waste also contains organic matter, 0.1% carbohydrates, 0.42% protein, 0.13% fat, 4.55%, 1.74% phosphorus and 98.8% water. This study aims to identify the quality parameters of tofu industrial wastewater in Kuncen Village, Padangan District, Bojonegoro Regency. Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Environment Number 5 of 2014 concerning Soybean Management Waste Quality Standards, the results of testing the Characteristics of tofu liquid waste, the Temperature parameter of 55 ºC does not meet the quality standard of 30 ºC. The test results for the pH parameter of 5 do not meet the quality standard, namely 6 – 9. As for the TSS parameter, it complies with the quality standard, which is 10.58 mg/L below 200 mg/L. The BOD 5 test results meet the quality standard, which is 39.4 mg/L below the quality standard value of 150 mg/L. The results of the COD test of 115 mg/L have met the requirements for the quality standard value of 300 mg/L.

Abstract

The partner of this community service activity is SDN Simokerto VI/139 which is located at Jalan Sidotopo Wetan No. 112 Surabaya Based on the teacher's observations and interviews with school principals, one way to develop the teaching profession by writing scientific papers is to make a dictionary. The dictionary is a collection of meaningful words, very important for teachers as a means of writing and as a medium of learning while students can find out the meaning of various vocabulary words. . The partner's problem is that in the Library of SDN Simokerto VI, there are no general dictionaries or dictionaries for elementary schools that students can use to develop vocabulary or look for meaning in learning. This PPM activity aims to equip SDN Simokerto VI teachers to be able to compile and utilize dictionaries. for elementary schools. The training participants were teachers at SDN Simokerto VI and librarians, as well as school principals. The results of PPM activities were that all participants understood dictionaries, could compile dictionaries, and could use dictionaries for elementary schools.

Abstract

Based on the results of interviews with school principals and teachers, information was obtained that schools did not understand the independent curriculum learning model, schools had not registered as schools implementing IKM (implementation of independent curriculum) and were still at the independent learning stage. Based on these problems, a solution is needed in the form of activities or programs for training and socialization for school members through community service training activities conducted by PGSD lecturers regarding school drive programs that will provide solutions to the problems faced by school residents. The targets to be achieved through this training activity are: 1). Producing school members who have the ability and knowledge to grow the implementation of the independent curriculum learning model, and 2) There is consultative assistance.

Abstract

This community service activity titled "Training in Production and Marketing of Healthy Snacks 'Wajik Jagung' Made from Local Ingredients (Zea mays)" aims to (1) Process maize (Zea mays) into a healthy snack 'Wajik Jagung' and market it to increase community income. (2) To serve as an alternative innovation in the processing and utilisation of the agricultural products of the villagers into value-added products. The specific objective to be attained from the implementation of this activity is to improve the welfare of the community, namely the Bethel Indonesia Church community. The method of implementing this activity is process skills. The procedure for the implementation of this activity is: strengthening meeting of activity plans with activity partners to be carried out directly, preparing facilities and infrastructure as well as materials for the implementation of activities, and the implementation of production activities. Healthy snack 'Wajik Jagung' is the product to be produced. These activities are carried out at GBI Bunga Bakung. Corn owned by GBI Bunga Bakung community is the raw material for production. The production of a technology for processing corn into healthy snacks is the output of this activity.

Abstract

This service aims to provide training in the creation of financial statements for trading companies using Accurate version 4 software to students in the twelfth grade of SMK PGRI 1 Prabumulih. Accurate version 4 is accounting software that can enhance efficiency in financial statement management. In the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, this service supports the development of skills and knowledge relevant to an increasingly competitive job market.Through a series of practical training sessions, students will be taught how to use Accurate version 4 to record financial transactions, generate financial statements, and conduct financial data analysis for companies. This training will provide a deep understanding of the pivotal role of financial statements in informational business decision-making.The outcomes of this service are expected to bring tangible benefits to students at SMK PGRI 1 Prabumulih, enhancing their skills in managing financial statements using cutting-edge technology. This will better prepare them to face challenges in an ever-evolving job market and enable them to contribute more effectively to the industrial world. Additionally, this service is expected to improve students' understanding of the concept of the Digital Era 4.0 and how information technology plays a pivotal role in today's business environment.

Abstract

The tofu industry plays a crucial role in providing a vital plant-based protein source for the community; however, it often has significant environmental consequences due to its liquid waste. This waste contains organic substances, proteins, fats, and suspended particles that pollute water ecosystems. The high organic content diminishes oxygen levels in the water, endangering aquatic life and damaging water and soil quality in Kuncen Village, a tofu production hub. An intriguing solution involves converting tofu liquid waste into biogas through anaerobic organic decomposition. This research evaluates the potential of processing tofu liquid waste into biogas as a sustainable household energy source in Kuncen Village. The objective is to mitigate the environmental impact of tofu waste while providing an eco-friendly energy alternative. The study encompasses experiments and analyses with a focus on measuring gas volumes from the biogas installation. Although initial trials have not yielded sufficient gas production, this research provides valuable insights into making the tofu liquid waste-to-biogas process more efficient and sustainable.

Abstract

In an e-commerce situation that is developing very rapidly, the COVID-19 pandemic hit Indonesia and not only had an impact on the public health system but also had an impact on the people's economy. Traders, both small and retail businesses, are feeling the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it is not uncommon for some to go out of business because their income is not proportional to their expenses. Ultimately, this directly or indirectly impacts the economy of the lower middle class. Residents in Pesanggrahan Village, which has a population of approximately 4,300 people with 1,000 families, are one of the affected communities. Most people's livelihoods in RW.03 Pesanggrahan Village are as traders, private employees, and laborers. This Community Service Program is one of the efforts to revive the people's economy affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This activity aims to provide broader knowledge about e-commerce for the lower middle class affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the Industrial Age 4.0. Abstract

English language learning plays a crucial role in preparing the younger generation to face global challenges. English is widely used in global communication, including in the fields of technology and business. The use of digital technology in English language learning can enhance the quality of education and the accessibility of educational materials. Specialized training for teachers is essential to prepare students for global challenges. MI Muhammadiyah Kamulan, a primary school in a rural area, faces challenges in utilizing digital technology for English language learning. Specific training is required for teachers to effectively teach English and create an engaging learning environment. This training also has a positive impact on students by improving access to quality learning resources. This report will document the training process and provide insights into the importance of digital technology training in enhancing English language learning at the primary school level.
