Journal Competency of Business is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (July and December) by the Management Study Program at Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta. Journal Competency of Business discusses management and business broadly and its applications, especially for research relevant to management practices (finance, marketing, operations and human resources) and developing business strategies. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Brand Image, Consumer Satisfaction and Product Quality on Purchase Decision of Cheers Kombucha Products. This study uses a quantitative research approach with multiple linear regression methods. The variables used in this study were primary data which were taken directly by distributing questionnaires through the Google form and distributed to Cheers Kombucha consumers. The number of population in this study amounted to 100 people. The sample is determined by calculation using the slovin formula. The results of this study indicate that Brand Image, Consumer Satisfaction, and Product Quality have a partial effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Keberhasilan suatu organisasi dipengaruhi oleh kinerja karyawan. Kinerja adalah hasil kerja yang dicapai oleh seorang karyawan dalam melakukan tugas sesuai tanggung jawab yang diberikan kepadanya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Sumber data yang ada dalam penelitian ini adalah sumber data primer rumusan masalahnya adalah: pertama, Adakah pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai Kelurahan Lubuk Durian Kecamatan Kerkab Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara?Kedua, Adakah pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai Kelurahan Lubuk Durian Kecamatan Kerkab Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara?, ketiga, Adakah pengaruh motivasi, dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai Kelurahan Lubuk Durian Kecamatan Kerkab Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara?Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : pertama, Ada pengaruh secara signifikan antara motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai Kelurahan Lubuk Durian Kecamatan Kerkab Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara, kedua, Ada pengaruh secara signifikan antara budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai Kelurahan Lubuk Durian Kecamatan Kerkab Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara. ketiga, Ada pengaruh secara signifikan antara motivasi dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai Kelurahan Lubuk Durian Kecamatan Kerkab Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara.

Abstract

Having good financial behavior has a positive impact on students regarding their financial problems, especially in managing expenses for daily needs. Financial literacy, financial self-efficacy, and financial technology are parts that can provide convenience to students in overcoming their financial problems. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy, financial self-efficacy, and financial technology on the financial behavior of students in Yogyakarta. Research Methods: This study used a descriptive quantitative method, the sample used was 50 boarding/contract/living alone students in Yogyakarta. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Test the validity of the instrument using R count and R table, while the Reliability Test uses Crombach alpha. The data analysis technique used is the Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Test, Partial Test (t), Simultaneous Test (f), and Determination Test (R2). Research Results: The results obtained after data analysis are significantly Financial Literacy (X1) and Financial Technology (X3) have no effect on student financial behavior (Y). Meanwhile, Financial Self Efficacy (X2) has a significant effect on financial behavior (Y). Simultaneously financial literacy (X1), financial self-efficacy (X2), and financial technology (X3) influence financial behavior (Y).

Abstract

Pemecahan saham adalah memecah selembar saham menjadi beberapa lembar saham. Peristiwa pemecahan saham ini menjadikan harga saham lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan sebelumnya sehingga menimbulkan minat beli investor dan meningkatkan trading volume activity saham. Bank BCA memanfaatkan peristiwa pemecahan saham agar harga sahama menjadi lebih rendah sehingga dapat dijaungkau semua investor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan trading volume activity terhadap pemecahan saham pada bank BCA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi peristiwa, yaitu mempelajari pengaruh pemecahan saham terhadap pasar saham. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan trading volume activity sebelum ataupun sesudah pemecahan saham.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is market overreaction on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the research period from 2017 to 2020. The population in this study are LQ45 index component companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample in this study was obtained by purposive sampling method, namely as many as 30 companies. Market overreaction is measured by abnormal returns and is shown by the Average Cumulative Abnormal Return (ACAR) portfolio of losers outperforming the Average CAR portfolio of winners. The results showed that the loser portfolio's Average CAR could not outperform the winner's portfolio. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is no market overreaction to the LQ45 index company shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the implementation of Electronic Human Resource Management (EHRM) in Indonesia. The approach used in this research was descriptive qualitative research which aims to provide an overview of the focus of this research. The results of the first study were the implementation of EHRM in Indonesia and motivated by management's awareness of the era of technological development, where control was fully aware that utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) developments in Indonesian territory. Then it can create a better organizational future, as well as improve the quality of work and service. Secondly, in preparing for the implementation of EHRM, the management of all regions in Indonesia took several steps, namely; survey and analysis of work needs in each existing field, carrying out planning in society 5.0.

Abstract

Pilihan karir (profesi) merupakan faktor yang perlu dipertimbangkan oleh mahasiswa. Faktanya menunjukkan bahwa profesi akuntan publik tidak menjadi pilihan utama mahasiswa akuntansi untuk berkarier, selain tingkat kelulusan ujian Certified Public Accountant (CPA) yang relatif rendah, dan  tidak semua lulusan akan terjun ke profesi akuntan publik. Penelitian ini mereplikasi penelitian Aryani Maulida (2022) mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi karir menjadi akuntan publik, hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa lingkungan kerja, imbalan finansial, nilai-nilai sosial, pertimbangan pasar tenaga kerja, dan pelatihan profesional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat pilihan karir mahasiswa akuntansi untuk menjadi akuntan publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kembali pengaruh 1ingkungan kerja, penghargaan finansial, nilai-nilai sosial, pertimbangan pasar, pelatihan professional dan personalitas terhadap persepsi mahasiswa akuntansi pada profesi akuntan publik. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, Populasi adalah mahasiswa Akuntansi Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta. Pemilihan sampel dengan metode  purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer, teknik pengumpulan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara online  (dengan google form) yang dibagikan melalui WhatsApp pada mahasiswa akuntansi semester akhir yang sudah mengambil mata kuliah pengauditan. Peneliti mengambil sampel laki-laki 36 responden dan perempuan 39 responden. Data  analisis menggunakan bantuan SPSS 29.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan pertimbangan pasar berpengaruh pada persepsi mahasiswa akuntansi terhadap profesi akuntan publik sedangkan pengahargaan finansial, nilai-nilai sosial, pelatihan profesional dan personalitas tidak berpengaruh pada persepsi mahasiswa akuntansi pada profesi akuntan publik. Keterbatasan penelitian ini hanya menggunakan satu sampel dari perguruan tinggi swasta, teknik pengumpulan yaitu dengan non probability melalui kuisioner dengan data cross section sehingga hanya mencerminkan kondisi pada periode pengambilan data, oleh karena itu belum dapat mewakili keseluruhan populasi secara proporsional. Dengan demikian kesimpulan hasil penelitian tidak dapat digeneralisasi.

Abstract

A business owner will continue to try to manage the business so that it does not lose, no matter how difficult the situation is. Going concern is what is desired. Companies experience growth from one stage to another so as to form a company life cycle. This indicates that every process in the company's life has its own challenges that need to be managed with the best possible effort. When a company is unable to overcome the problems that exist in certain phases, there is a possibility that the company will go bankrupt or be liquidated. One of them is a new financial management strategy that must be implemented. Financial management in a business is very basic if the finances in the company want to be healthy or not. With this new financial management strategy, it is hoped that there will be a new gap of hope for the company to save its business, although not only that, but it also requires saving from other aspects such as the overall strategy.

Abstract

Technological advances that continue to develop have had an impact on current management practices and are inseparable from human resource management practices. These practices in the Industrial 4.0 era. now it is inseparable from E-HRM. In running an E-HRM information system, of course, an organization must have adequate technology assets. In this case the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency follows developments in the current era in its application in terms of Human Resource Development. The Ministry of ATR/BPN pays adequate attention to the development of apparatus work competencies both in terms of quality and quantity both Knowledge, Expertise, Skills and Attitudes so that they can carry out their duties and positions in a professional manner.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial performance of the five largest PT in Indonesia in 2020-2022 using the analytical method of Liquidity Ratios, solvency ratios, activity ratios and profitability ratios. The data used in this study are the balance sheets of the five largest PTs in the food and beverage sub-sector as of 31 December 2020-2022 and the profit and loss statements of the five largest PTs in the food and beverage sub-sector in the last year 31 December 2020-2022. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. From the analysis carried out on the financial statements for the last three years, it shows that the company's performance has fluctuated or changed. This is because the five largest companies were affected by Covid-19.
