The method used in this research is qualitative data analysis conducted to determine the characteristics of the tofu company which is presented in non-financial aspects in the form of descriptive descriptions, tables, charts, or pictures to facilitate understanding. Quantitative data is used to determine the company's financial condition, such as NPV, IRR, Payback Period (PP), Net B/C Ratio, BEP, ROI. This quantitative analysis is presented in the form of a tabulation that groups and classifies the data in order to facilitate data analysis. Data processing is done with the help of calculators and Microsoft Excel computer programs. From the financial aspect, they are: (1) Net Present Value (NPV) of IDR 268,140,450 where the nominal is positive and feasible to run. (2) Internal Rate of Return (IRR) which is at a number where the value is greater than the discount factor, namely 100.76% > 10% DF, means it is feasible to run; (3) Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) of 2.87 or more than one (> 1), and is feasible to run; (4) Payback Period (PP) which is within 1 year and 3 months

Abstract

The skin, which accounts for approximately 15% of body weight, is the body's outermost organ and serves as a barrier between the body and the environment. Skin color varies, ranging from fair to dark, with different shades on various parts of the body. Protecting the skin from inflammation, cancer, and premature aging caused by free radicals is crucial, and skin care cosmetic preparations are essential for achieving this goal (Wahyuni, 2005). This research aimed to investigate the antioxidant activity of breadfruit leaf extract and assess its suitability for use in cream preparations. This experimental laboratory study evaluated the potential of breadfruit leaf extract cream as an antioxidant agent. The experimental method involves manipulating the research object and using controls to investigate the cause-and-effect relationship between treatments and their effects (Sugiyono, 2014). Phytochemical screening of breadfruit leaf simplisia powder showed the presence of flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, tannins, triterpenoids/steroids and glycosides. The content water of the simplisia was 7.30%, while the water-soluble juice and ethanol-soluble juice contents were 26.70% and 15.14%, respectively. The total ash content was 9.99%, and the ash content was 5.06%. Breadfruit leaf essence exhibited strong antioxidant activity, with an IC50 score of 28.10 ± 0.15 compared to quercetin, which also demonstrated strong antioxidant activity with an IC50 score of 9.76 ± 0.07 μg/mL. Breadfruit leaf extract has potent antioxidant activity, and its cream preparations meet the necessary requirements

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the fingerboard media on the ability to perform arithmetic addition operations on students with mild mental retardation. The research method used is quantitative with test data collection techniques and documentation. Meanwhile, the research design used was one group pre-test and post-test design. Data analysis used the Willcoxon Non-Parametric Test using the SPSS program. The subjects of this study were students with mild mental retardation at SLB Sumber Dharma, Malang City. The results showed that there was a change in student learning outcomes after being treated using the media of the fingerboard. This is shown by the Willcoxon hypothesis test data found Z count = -2.251 and α = 0.05, then sig = 0.024. This shows that Sig 0.024 is smaller than 0.05 (0.024 <0.05)

Abstract

Hearing aids/PLDs (Personal Listening Devices) such as earphones, headphones, or headsets are often used by people to listen to sound from smartphones in order to get a good sound experience. The recommended sound volume when using PLDs is no more than 60% of the maximum volume. The use of PLDs in intensities above 85 db and for a long period of time can cause non-NIHL (non occupational noise induced hearing loss). This study aims to determine the description of the sound intensity of smartphones used by students of SMAN 1 Permata bener Meriah in the academic year 2022/2023 The method used in this study is descriptive. This study uses a cross sectional approach, namely taking primary data through checking the sound intensity when using PLDs with SLM (sound level meter). From a total of 100 samples of students of SMAN 1 Permata bener Meriah in the 2022/2023 academic year, it was found that the average sound intensity heard using PLDs was 73.76 db with a minimum value of 63.1 db and a maximum of 89 db. The conclusion of this study is that students of SMAN 1 Permata bener Meriah use PLDs with sound intensity exceeding the recommended limit

Abstract

Referring to the World Drugs Report 2020, there has been an increase in global drug use and illicit substance abuse. In 2018, approximately 269 million people worldwide were using drugs. This study aims to examine the influence of self-regulation on the resilience of teenagers in preventing drug abuse. This is a quantitative analytical study with a cross-sectional design. The study population consists of 17,906 students from public vocational schools in Medan City, with a sample of 200 individuals selected through random cluster sampling. The instruments used were questionnaires, and data analysis was conducted using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses with simple regression tests. The data processing results from the 200 student respondents revealed that 49.5% were male and 50.5% were female. Among them, 56.5% had low levels of self-regulation, while 43.0% exhibited sufficient resilience. Bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test yielded a r-value of 0.0001 (r < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between self-regulation and teenage resilience in Medan City regarding drug abuse prevention. Referring to the findings of this study can be generally understood that self-regulation influences adolescent resilience in preventing drug abuse
