Abstract

Fertilization of phosphate and lime on ultisol soils will increase the pH of the soil where a high soil pH causes an increase in nutrients. However, the fertilization carried out must pay attention to several things, namely the plants being fertilized, the type of soil, the type of fertilizer used, the dose given, the fertilization time and the method of fertilization. This study aims to obtain information on the effect of phosphate fertilization and liming on ultisol soil on the yield of dry corn (Zea mays L.) and soybean (Glycine max L.(Merr). This research was carried out in Halong Village, Baguala District, Ambon City, which took place from January to May 2024. Soil and plant analysis was carried out at the Soil Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Pattimura University. The experimental design used in this study is a complete randomized design with a factorial pattern with three replicates. The factors studied were P fertilizer and lime, where the parameters studied were the weight of dry seeds, corn kernels and soybeans. The results showed that phosphate fertilization on ultisol soil could increase soil pH which led to an increase in dry seed weight of corn and soybeans and the best combination of phosphate and lime fertilizer dosage on ultisol soil for an efficient increase in dry seed weight of corn and soybean was 92.6 kg P2O5/Ha and 1.5 x Ald.

Abstract

This research uses normative research methods with a statute approach, historical approach, and conceptual approach.  This research aims to find out, examine, and analyze the urgency of legal protection for persons with disabilities against authentic deeds made before a Notary and also to examine and determine the validity of notarial deeds made by persons with disabilities through alternative relevant attestation procedures. The result of this research is that the reconstruction model for the validation of an authentic deed made before a notary for a disabled person follows the provisions of Article 44 of the UUJNP, but this provision must be accompanied or accompanied by at least 2 (two) witnesses who will later make a certificate of testimony (Affidavit) before the notary that he witnessed the disabled person had made the deed before the notary concerned. In essence, the reconstruction of authentic deed attestation is needed to realize the purpose of the law it self, in the form of certainty, justice, and expediency.

Abstract

It is evident from various reports and statistics that there is a significant gap between the desired environmental state and the current situation, primarily due to improper waste disposal. This study used a predictive-correlational design and structural equation modeling to examine the predictors of proper waste disposal behavior. The research instrument was validated and used to survey 293 high school students across three public schools in Nueva Ecija, Philippines. Using WarpPLS 8.0, the results revealed that (1) accessibility of trash bins, perceived consequences, environmental concern, and perceived behavioral control predict proper waste disposal behavior, and (2) environmental concern and perceived behavioral control sequentially mediate the effect of perceived behavioral control on proper disposal behavior. This study proposes a structural model with meaningful predictive accuracy that can help educational institutions design effective waste management programs empowering education to promote eco-friendly behavior. Future studies may be conducted to test the revised model presented in this study.
