Abstract

This study examines the influence of zakat literacy and zakat spirituality on the compliance behavior of muzakki in paying zakat. The independent variables are zakat literacy and zakat spirituality, while the dependent variable is compliance behavior in paying zakat. A quantitative approach was employed, with the research conducted in Majene District, West Sulawesi. The population consists of muzakki who meet the criteria for the study. A sample of 80 respondents was selected using purposive sampling, with calculations based on the percentage formula. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression. The results show that both zakat literacy and zakat spirituality significantly and positively influence the compliance behavior of muzakki in paying zakat.

Abstract

Innovation is crucial for an organization’s competitiveness and sustainability in the global market. This study examines human resource management (HR) policies as key drivers of organizational innovation. HR policies that focus on skill development, diversity, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and experimentation are proven to foster a culture of innovation. Using a qualitative descriptive approach based on literature, this study explores how HR policies enhance individual and team creativity, facilitate new idea exploration, and address innovation challenges through diversity and open communication. The findings suggest that continuous training, respect for diversity, and leadership that encourages risk-taking are critical for innovation success. Companies are encouraged to prioritize policies that promote creative skills, cross-functional teamwork, and diversity integration. Further research is recommended using quantitative methods and case studies to deepen understanding of how these policies impact innovation across different sectors. The results highlight HR’s strategic role in creating a competitive advantage through continuous innovation.

Abstract

It addresses the unique challenges and strategies of business analytics adoption across the Asian diversity, drawing on the findings of 30 academic publications. It recognizes that for Asian enterprises, Data-driven culture in collectivist and hierarchy-based cultural dynamics requires good leadership buy-in and cross-functional collaboration. Moreover, the diverse regulatory landscape of the region requires customized data governance frameworks to comply with local privacy regulations and establish confidence among stakeholders. As companies across Asia level up their data adoption, organisations need to focus on scalable technology, build a workforce which is data-literate, develop a flexible compliance framework, enable cross-functional collaboration, engage local experts and build an ethical data culture, the study noted. By The findings serve to enhance comprehension of how analytics can be implemented across the Asian context, emphashighlightening the need for a flexible and contextatively approach in addressing the unique technological, cultural and institutional landscapes of the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of a value-based approach in employee recruitment and selection in technology-based companies, as well as its impact on employee commitment, motivation, and retention. The background of this research is the need for technology companies to retain employees who have values aligned with the organizational culture to achieve long-term success. The method used was case studies on several leading technology companies, with interviews and surveys with employees and HR managers. The results show that a value-based approach not only improves alignment between employees and the company, but also accelerates adaptation, increases intrinsic motivation, and reduces turnover rates. Employees who share the same values with the company are more engaged in their work and more loyal to the company's goals. In conclusion, a value-based approach in recruitment and selection has proven to be effective in improving employee performance and retention in technology companies.

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing financial literacy among Gen Z in the city of Palembang. This research employs a quantitative method with SEM-Smart-PLS analysis techniques involving 500 Gen Z respondents in the city of Palembang. Based on the analysis results, financial attitude significantly affects financial literacy, financial behavior significantly affects financial literacy, financial knowledge significantly affects financial attitude, financial knowledge significantly affects behavior, financial knowledge affects financial literacy, financial knowledge and financial attitude significantly affect financial literacy, and financial knowledge and financial behavior significantly affect financial literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of corporate social responsibility (CSR), company size, and sales growth on tax avoidance in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022. The technique used was purposive sampling with a sample size that met the criteria of 26 companies. The type of data used is quantitative with secondary data sources from financial annual reports and corporate sustainability reports. This study uses the SPSS version 22 analysis tool. The test results show that corporate social responsibility (CSR) has a significant and negative impact on tax avoidance, and company size has a significant and positive impact on tax avoidance. Simultaneously, sales growth does not affect tax avoidance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of organizational culture and work environment on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable, at PT XX. The research addresses issues such as declining employee performance, high absenteeism, and inequalities in facilities and policies. Using a quantitative approach with causal explanatory design, data were collected from 94 employees through a Google Form-based questionnaire. The results show that organizational culture and work environment significantly influence job satisfaction, which in turn affects employee performance. Organizational culture and work environment positively contribute to performance, with job satisfaction acting as a key factor in improving employee productivity. This study highlights the importance of enhancing organizational culture and work environment to optimize performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of e-performance implementation and work motivation on employee performance with technology acceptance as a mediating variable at the XX Department of XYZ Province. This study discusses issues such as declining employee performance, utilization of new technology, and employees who are 45 years and over. Using a quantitative approach with an explanatory causal design, data were collected from a total of 114 employees through a Google Form-based questionnaire and printed questionnaire sheets. The results indicated that the implementation of e-performance and work motivation significantly influenced technology acceptance, which further impacted employee performance. The implementation of e-performance and work motivation contributed positively to employee performance, with technology acceptance as a key factor in increasing specific areas of productivity. This study highlights the importance of prioritizing the implementation of e-performance and work motivation to enhance employee performance and productivity.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of competence and career development on employee performance with work motivation as a mediation variable. The research method used is descriptive quantitative approach using Smart-PLS software. This study used a sample of 70 respondents from employees in the Department of Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Sidoarjo Branch. The results showed that: 1) competence affects employee performance, 2) Career Development affects employee performance, 3) work motivation can mediate the effect of competence on employee performance 4) work motivation can mediate the effect of career development on employee performance.

Abstract

The defense industry requires significant funding to achieve self-sufficiency and reducing reliance on imported defense equipment. This research aims to analyze the benefits and risks if the government considers the option of funding the state-owned defense industry through the capital market. This alternative has been successfully implemented in several countries. This research employs qualitative methods by collecting secondary data obtained through a literature study, including journal articles, books, and research-related sources. The techniques used include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. The research results indicate that funding through the capital market offers multiple benefits but also poses potential risks that must be mitigated through a series of appropriate policies to safeguard the country's strategic interests.
