Abstract

One of the socio-religious organization that is concerned with the education of Muhammadiyah. This organization from the beginning was designed to meajukan dignity of Muslims through various media, especially education. Anxiety arises, because the founder of Muhammadiyah realize that Islamic educational institutions that existed at that time was less able to respond to the challenges of the times and simply emphasize the religious education ansich. As a result, Muslims are backward in all fields of fact, the religious dimension is clearly not just a matter of religion but also a social problem and nature. Islamic religion openly have stated that the teachings are complete, perfect and will always be in accordance with the circumstances and conditions Any and, wherever and until whenever. This signifies that all dimensions of life have been covered in Islam. therefore, the Muslims have an obligation to learn and master the science of religion, social sciences and natural sciences Muslims to be developed. However, due to various factors, then the people before the establishment of Muhammadiyah education focuses only on religious knowledge alone. As a result, Muslims are in a state of backwardness and oppression. As an institution reformer, the Muhammadiyah also perform a wide berbaga renewal in the field of education. This article will focus on the study of the educational reform ala Muhammadiyah to respond to the challenges of the times.

Abstract

This article aims to describe Implementation Strategy of School-Based Quality Improvement Management In Junior High School in Indramayu. The findings of this study indicate that: first, the state of education at Junior High School in Indramayu different from each other. Among the schools there is a gradation sequence, especially in the quality of educational output produced. Secondly, in formulating policy, the principal invited the participation of all school component of school stakeholders, but not all stakeholders participating policies that had been developed then neatly documented in various forms of school documents. policies that have been set together and then disseminated in various forums both formal and informal, such as through meetings, briefings, and everyday conversation. Third, in general all schools have developed a pattern of quality improvement based management school. Quality improvement activities carried out through the process of planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. However. Management’s ability to improve the quality of the different schools with other schools.

Abstract

Studying the theme has an aim to give knowledge about the importance of thematic learning in early children education. Learning is students’ interaction process with their teacher and their source study of an environment study. Thematic learning as one of the learning models emphasizes the importance of whole student development. Thematic learning model has already become accustom done by educator, but it did not reach the optimum point yet. It is necessary to increase the teachers quality to do thematic learning that appropriate with the obtain curriculum. The emergence of curriculum 2013 is the improvement of the curriculum which emphasize to learning process. Curriculum 2013 carried the developing of constructivism curriculum. It is more flexible in implementation but it gives more spaces to the children to develop their potential. Orientation of curriculum 2013 is the increasing and balancing among attitude competence, skill, and knowledge. The process of thematic learning in early children education must be operated in a reasonable way.

Abstract

This article describes a peace education, as conflict resolution and other forms of conflict resolution based on religiousconducted by FPUB in Yogyakarta. The results showed that the activity FPUB in conflict resolution is carried out through four forms, namely; First, discussions and inter-religious dialogue is a cultural movement that is trying to explore, understand, and mutual understanding of the real problems faced by the community. Secondly, social solidarity that concern the political situation, social, economic, and cultural. Thirdly, peaceful action and prayer together. Fourth, peace education is the process of accepting and respecting differences as a form of de-radicalization and conflict resolution in order to build inter-religious relations are open, egalitarian and peaceful. Forms of peace education are peace and non-violence, human rights, democracy, tolerance, international and intercultural understanding, and cultural and linguistic diversity

Abstract

Dichotomy is the division of two parts, splitting the two parts, or forked section. Some people difine dichotomy as the divisions of two parts which againt each other. Dichotomy of education means separation between religion subjects and science subjects, both formal and informal. Bipolar-dichotomous mindset has brought uncomfortable consequences for the life and welfare of mankind. Because it will make man alienated from the values of spirituality and morality, alienated from himself, his family and the surrounding community. This paper aims to find the traces of policy of dichotomy in Indonesian education, especially in a period of reform, and to find the root of policy dichotomy in Indonesian education. In addition, this paper also aims to explains the Islam views of the problems of dichotomy in education

Abstract

Implications of Islamic Education on street children and abandoned children in al- Fataa children’s boarding school are: Pupils able to mention the names and types of vowel, reading Arabic numbers from 1-500, reading Arabic-Indonesian transliteration, reading passages from the Koran smoothly, apply the science of Tajweed and recitation Garib well. Pupils have an attitude and good skills in terms of: self-awareness, to overcome the crisis, independent study, a good relationship with other people, can judge for itself, establish the identity of a positive, self-controlled, functioning self, communicate, understand the needs and feelings of others, sensitive and open in communicating, concentrating consciousness, creative, combining cognitive and affective learning rate. While the humanist values that are less able to have is the ability imaginative. In conjunction with this ability, most students are less able to read the Qur’an with a good voice and songs

Abstract

The end of history” is a thesis of Francis Fukuyama. A theory which affirms the victory of liberal democracy against unmatchable ideologies, such as fascism and communism. Fukuyama assumptions are based on the doctrine of the philosophy of “universal history” a la Hegel, which is directed and run dialectical toward perfection. For Fukuyama, explaining human history is not simply through economic interpretation, because human beings are not solely economic beings. Abstract

Qur’an verses with making Islam is rich with theory. The theory contained in it made the quote by scholars of Islamic education as the basis of Islamic education. The theory brought criticism of the interpretation that exists in Indonesia had a great concept. The concept of exigesis Quran examines on every problem raised in the living Qur’an. Exsigesis of the living Qur’an about education resulted in Islamic education experts interpret the education in his divided into three concept of education. Three concepts that used educational practitioners make exsigesis al-Quran becomes problematic. This paper tried to see criticism of the interpretation that exists in living Quran on the concept of education which used educational practitioners in applying the model of learning
