This study used secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Manpower and Transmigration Service (DISNAKERTRANS). The data analysis model uses the TSLS (Two Stage Least Square) multiple liniear regression analysis model. The results of this study show that regional capital expenditure does not affect the absorption of labor either directly or indirectly in the Selayar Islands Regency while wages affect the absorption of labor in the Selayar Islands Regency.

Abstract

PT. Astra International Tbk BMW Makassar is the subject of the study, aimed at conducting an in-depth investigation into the impact of training and career expansion factors on employee performance, mediated by the business culture factor. A total of 120 employees participated as respondents, and data were collected through questionnaire surveys, non-participant observation, and interviews. Path analysis will be utilized to justify the impact of exogenous factors on endogenous factors. The study's findings revealed significant direct effects in the path of substruktur 1, indicating that career expansion (X2) has a significant impact on workforce performance. Additionally, the exogenous factor of career expansion has a substantial and direct impact on the business entity's culture in path substruktur 2. In path substruktur 3, it was observed that training has a significant and substantial impact on career expansion. Subsequently, the Sobel test was employed to explore the non-contingent impact of training on employee performance, mediated by the organizational culture, which showed a significant and direct relationship. Similarly, the non-contingent impact of career expansion on employee performance, mediated by the organizational culture, demonstrated a significant and direct association.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of creativity on employee performance, the effect of innovative behavior on employee performance and the simultaneous influence of creativity and innovative behavior on employee performance. Data collection uses primary data obtained from employees who work at the Karebosi Premier Makassar hotel where sampling uses a saturated sample where all members of the population are sampled so that a sample of 51 respondents is determined. The results of the questionnaire have been tested for validity and reliability, as well as tested for classic assumptions in the form of Normality Assumptions, Multicollinearity Assumptions, and Heteroscedasticity. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS 23 (Statistical Program For Social Science) program. The results showed that both partially and simultaneously creativity and innovative behavior had a positive and significant effect on employee performance so that all hypotheses proposed were accepted.

Abstract

The scientific investigation aims to analyze the direct influence of motivation and self-confidence on teacher professionalism and teaching effectiveness, examine the direct impact of teacher professionalism on teaching effectiveness, and explore the indirect effect of motivation and self-confidence on teaching effectiveness through teacher professionalism at SMA Maha Putra Tello Makassar. The research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design, using a sample of 343 respondents comprising all students at SMA Maha Putra Tello Makassar. Data collection techniques involve observation and questionnaire distribution. The data analysis employs advanced quantitative methods, with SEM-PLS as the analytical tool. The study's findings reveal that self-confidence has a significant and positive influence on teacher competence, while motivation also exhibits a significant and positive effect on teacher competence. Furthermore, professionalism has a positive and significant impact on teaching effectiveness. Moreover, it is observed that self-confidence, mediated by professionalism, positively and significantly affects teaching effectiveness, as does motivation through professionalism. These results imply that teaching effectiveness, as an indicator of teacher success, is determined by the combination of teacher self-confidence and motivation, mediated by their professionalism in delivering effective learning to students.

Abstract

This research aims to test the hypothesis of the influence of responsibility and work ability on the work performance of employees of PT Catur Adiluhur Sentosa Palembang. The sampling technique is purposive sampling using the Slovin formula with a total sample of 63 respondents. Using test instruments, validity, and reliability. As well as the classic assumption test, namely the normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination. Test the hypothesis, namely t test and F test. The test results conclude that partially there is an effect of responsibility (X1) on work performance (Y) with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, while the effect of ability (X2) work on work performance (Y) with significant value of 0.063 > 0.05, meaning that there is no significant effect on work performance. Simultaneous F test results obtained a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect simultaneously on responsibility and work ability on employee performance at PT Catur Adiluhur Sentosa Palembang. The test results are strengthened by a correlation test of 0.711 and a determination test of 0.505 which shows the results of the discussion and then have a strong relationship. So that it can form an explanation of 50.5%, the remaining part is influenced by other variables not included in the research model, including mental abilities and attitudes.

Abstract

Students are required to implement their knowledge to the community, one of which is by becoming a teaching volunteer. Teaching activities carried out by students are a form of prosocial behavior. Prosocial behavior can be influenced by internal factors, one of which is empathy. The purpose of this study is to test empirically the contribution of empathy to prosocial behavior in students who become teaching volunteers. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. This study was conducted on 108 respondents with certain criteria, that is active students who became teaching volunteers for at least 1 month. Data collected by distributing questionnaires containing the respondents' identities and the research scale. The scale used in this study is a helping attitude scale and an empathy scale. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis in this research is a simple linear regression test. Based on the results of data analysis, the F value was 31.114; R square of 0.227 and a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.01). This shows that there is a very significant contribution from empathy to prosocial behavior in students who become teaching volunteers and empathy contributes to prosocial behavior by 22.7%, while the remaining 77.3% is influenced by other factors outside of research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of workload and job transfers on performance with work motivation as an interverning variable at Bintara Polri Polres Lombok Barat. The research population was members of the West Lombok Police and Sub Satker (Polsek) of 808 people. The technique of determining the sample used purposive sampling so that 89 people were obtained as respondents. The research instrument used questionnaires as well as several other data collection methods such as observation, interviews and literature and analysis methods using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis with Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis. The results showed that workload had a negative effect and significant to performance, position mutations have a positive and significant effect on performance, workload has a negative and significant effect on work motivation, position mutations have a positive and significant effect on work motivation, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance, workload has a negative and significant effect on performance with motivation as an intervening variable and position mutations have a positive effect on performance with motivation as an intervening variable at Bintara Polri Polres Lombok Barat. The implication of the research is the need for an evaluation in assigning tasks to members in order to maintain performance results and transfer of positions at Bintara Polri Polres Lombok Barat needs to be carried out regularly in order to improve the performance of members and eliminate feelings of boredom in carrying out tasks both at Satker Polres Lombok Barat and Sub Satker (Polsek).
