Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of organizational communication and work environment partially and simultaneously on employee motivation at PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. Construction Division VI Project Revamping of International Airport Interior Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar. Sample in this research amounted to 51 respondents. The data used is primary data in the from of questionnaires and interviews on a field and secondary data in the form of documentation company. The analysis method used is linear regression analysis with F test and T test. The results of the statistical test of organitational communication and work environment as a whole (simultaneous-F test) has a positive effect on employee motivation at PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. Construction Division VI Project Revamping of International Airport Interior Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar. The results of R test show that the effect of Organizational Communication and Work Environment on Employee Motivation at PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. Construction Division VI Project Revamping of International Airport Interior Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar is 41,6%. Based on T test, organizational communication variables have significant impact on employee motivation at PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. Construction Division VI Project Revamping of International Airport Interior Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar. While work environment variable does not give significant impact on employee motivation at PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. Abstract

This research aims to investigate (1) the effects of incentive systems to organizational commitment; (2) the effects of incentive systems to staff’s performance; (3) the effects of incentive systems to staff’s satisfaction; (4) the effects of organizational staff’s commitment to staff’s performance; (5) the effects of organizational commitment to staff’s satisfaction; and (6) the effects of staff’s performance to satisfaction. This research involved 244 respondents who are working at the executive level in banking industries which are classified as national owned companies and local government owned bank in South Sulawesi. The methodnof analysis employs an integrated factors analysis with simultaneous regression of the structural equation modeling. The study results indicated that: (1) the incentive systems have directly effect’s, significant, and positive to organizational commitment; (2) Incentive systems did not affect significantly to performance, however, the effects could be indirectly and positively affected throught the organizational commitment. (3) Incentive systems are positively, directly and significantly affecting the staff’s satisfaction; (4) Organizational commitment have positively, directly and significantly affected the staff’s performance; (5) Organizational commitments have not significantly affected the staff’s satisfaction; (6) Performance have positively, directly and significantly affected the staff’s satisfaction. The normative (organizational) commitments of the staff’s t be more dominant compare to two others types of organizational commitment, i.e; affection and sustainable commitment. In fact, this normative type of organizational commitment affects to staffs performance, but, on the other hand, it has no affect on the staff’s satisfaction it all. In additon, the incentive systems, however well believed to be appropriate, nevertheless it has no direct affect on the staff’s performance (in which could only grow throught the organziational commitment) but it affect, positively to the staffs satisfaction.Keywords: Commitment, Job Satisfaction, Job Performance

Abstract

For PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, performance is one of the important indicators for the company. Performance is also mentioned and described in the proceeds of the 2014 Joint Task Force which is the result of management agreements with trade unions as representatives of employees. To analyze the influence of motivation and perceived organizational support towards commitment and performance in employee performance improvement strategy at PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, used data collection technique through questionnaires distribution to selected employee as sample. Data analysis technique used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. This method is commonly used for the examination of relatively complex relations simultaneously with a sample of 202 people at PT Vale Indonesia Tbk. The results showed that commitment was positively and significantly influenced by Perceived Organizational Support and motivation, performance was positively and significantly influenced by motivation and Perceived Organizational Suppor, while commitment had positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk, so the hypothesis in this research is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the level of work discipline, work motivation and work commitment to the performance of employees at the Public Works Department of Merauke Regency.This research uses quantitative research, quantitative research is a process of finding knowledge using numerical data as a tool to analyze information about what want to know.The results of this study found that work discipline, work motivation and work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, high work motivation can be proven to contribute positively and significantly to improving employee performance , the commitment of good organization proved to give positive and significant contribution to the improvement of employee performance at the Office of Public Works Department of Merauke Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the evaluation process of the implementation of SKPD capacity and performance improvement program strategy with SWOT analysis. This research uses quantitative methods because this research is presented with words or verbs from people and observable behaviors. The reason for choosing a qualitative approach is because it relates to the concept of title and problem formulation on the evaluation study of regional income revenues improvement strategy through capacity building and performance program at Regional Revenue Board of South Sulawesi Province. Based on the results of the evaluation process analysis of the implementation of the capacity and performance improvement program strategy, the strategy undertaken by the Regional Income Board of South Sulawesi Province in an effort to increase the revenue of the region through capacity and performance improvement program is intensification strategy which is done through the improvement of operational power capability in the field, take advantage of roles and cooperation with agencies in the management and supervision of revenue revenues and assess the shortcomings and maximize the local financial management system.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of leadership style on employee performance and employee motivation at DR Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital Makassar. The research uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all employees of DR Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital Makassar, amounting to 548 people with a total sample of 84 respondents. Data was collected using a questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and path analysis with PLS 3.0 to analyze the direct and indirect effects on employee performance at DR Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital Makassar. The results of this study indicate that partially leadership style and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. While work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work motivation as a mediating or intervening variable. This means that leadership style has a significant direct and indirect influence on employee performance at DR Tadjuddin Chalid Hospital Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance through job satisfaction as intervening variables in Telkom Indonesia Regional VII Division. The population of the study is based on managerial & staff job positions consisting of 62 respondences from 161 full-time employees of Indonesia state-owned telecommunication company, Telkom Indonesia Regional VII Division. This research used quantitive methods. The primary data were collected by the questionnaire as the instrument to prove the results of the study. By using Smart Partial Least Squares (PLS), the analysis of collected data revealed and to test the hypotheses. According to the findings of this research supported the positive effect of leadership style, organizational culture, and job satisfaction through employee performances. The hypotheses analysis in the study has no significant effect of leadership style on employee performance, whereas job satisfaction as partial mediating.

Abstract

The most important aspect of being an employee of performance within an organization, because it is becoming one of the determining factors in the achievement of the vision and mission of the organization. This study aimed to examine the effect of work motivation, work environment, work discipline on employees’ performance. This research was conducted in SAMSAT Office of Makassar City for two months. The types of data were quantitative data and the sources of data were primary and secondary data. The populations were all employees of SAMSAT Office of Makassar City consisting of 75 people (the police and the civil officials 51 people, dispenda 21 people, and jasaharja 3 people). All populations were taken as samples (census sampling method). They were obtained through survey. They were analyzed using validity test, reliability test, descriptive analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research indicate that work motivation, work environment, and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employees’ performance. All researches hypotheses are accepted. This indicates that the increase of work motivation, work environment, and work discipline can improve employees’ performance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the influence of the additional employee income and the work environment on the performance of civil servants through work motivation in the Regional Secretariat of Gowa District. Data collection is carried out by civil servants assigned in the Secretariat Office of Gowa District. Of 127 population, as many as 96 respondents are taken using the Slovin technique. On the basis of findings, the results showed that the additional employee income and the work environment have a positive and significant effect on work motivation. Further, the additional employee income and the work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Interestingly, work motivation is unable to mediate the relationship between additional employee income and employee performance. However, the work motivation can mediate the relationship between the work environment and the employee performance at the Gowa District Secretariat Office.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of financial compensation and work pressure on the performance of employees through job satisfaction in DGT Regional office of South, West and South-East Sulawesi. Data was collected by a survey method, using questionnaire instruments created by Google Form platform and distributed to all civil servants of DGT Regional office of South, West and South-East Sulawesi and are grouped into five clusters. Of the 1,701 employee population, there were 352 employees who responded. Data is then analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of the SPSS AMOS application. The results showed that financial compensation and work pressure have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Interestingly, both variables, financial compensation and work pressure, did not show a significant effect on employees’ performance. Job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on employees’ performance.
