Jurnal Gesture Seni Tari ini memuat tentang penulisan ilmiah dan penelitian seni tari tradisi dan tari non tradisi di Nusantara, hingga menyinggung persoalan-persoalan yang terkait dengan perkembangan pendidikan seni tari pada abad ini. Sebagai Jurnal Seni yang hadir ditengah-tengah lembaga Prodi Pendidikan Seni Tari; dalam hal ini jurnal gesture akan selalu konsisten untuk berupaya menampung segala bentuk karya tulis ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan bidang (Pengajaran, Pengkajian, Penyajian, Penciptaan, dan Pengelolaan) di Pendidikan Tari FBS Unimed.

Abstract

This study aims to find a way of presenting the music as accompaniment in the Sikh religious worship terkhususnya part Asadivaar, music functions as an accompaniment in implementing Asadivaar, and uses musical instruments in worship Asadivaar music as an accompaniment. This study is based on a theoretical foundation to explain the meaning form of presentation, understanding the function, the music, the music instrument, understanding of the Sikhs. This research was conducted at Gurdwara Nanak DevJiKampungKeling Medan in June until August 2016. The method in this research use descriptive qualitative research. Population Board Gurdwara and Sikh People who worship Gudawara Nanak DevJi while samples numbered 20 people. Data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The results of this study indicate that the form of presentation in the rituals of the Sikh religion is particularly Asadivaar implemented during worship takes place. There are four functions of music in the liturgy Asadivaar, namely Disclosure Emotional Function, Communication Function, Aesthetics Appreciation Function, Function and Stability Contribution to Cultural Survival. The usefulness of instrumental music in the worship of the Sikh religion which serves as a Tabla rhythm in the song, Harmonium function as chords and melody in a song, and tambourine serves as tempo and rhythm. Keywords: aesthetics Islam

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to understand the positive relationship between cosmetology and fashion courses with entrepreneurial Make Up Artist services for graduates and students of Medan State University Dance Education. The theoretical foundation in this paper is used as a guideline in writing a thesis consisting of cosmetology theory (Harymawan, 1993: 134), namely makeup is the art of using cosmetic materials to provide makeup or changes to the players on stage or stage with the appropriate atmosphere and naturally, the fashion code of Endang Caturwati (1996: 36), what is meant by clothing is everything that a person wears, consisting of clothing and accessories (accessories) and identical to the word costume, and entrepreneurial theory Thomas W. Zimmerer in Suryana (2011: 19) states entrepreneurship is the process of applying creativity and innovation in solving problems and finding opportunities to improve life or business. This research was conducted in November to January 2017. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative data analysis using the Product Moment Correlation formula. The location of the study was conducted in the Dance Education Study Program at the Language and Arts Faculty of Sendratasik, Medan State University, Jl. Williem Iskandar Pasar V Medan Estate. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be seen that cosmetology and fashion subjects make an effective contribution of 80.7% towards entrepreneurship for Make Up Artist services, it can be seen that the cosmetology courses really pay attention to the shape of the face with the desired makeup as well as the fashion where the subject provides knowledge about the differences in traditional clothing and creative clothing, so graduates and students are motivated to apply and hone the ability to become a make up  artist service. Keywords: Makeup and Clothing, Make Up Artist Entrepreneurship Services. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetaui hubungan positif antara matakuliah tata rias dan busana dengan kewirausahaan jasa  Make Up Artist pada lulusan dan mahasiswa Pendidikan Tari Universitas Negeri Medan. Landasan teoritis dalam skripsi ini dijadikan pedoman dalam penulisan skripsi yang terdiri dari teori tata rias (Harymawan,1993:134) yaitu Tata rias adalah seni menggunakan bahan-bahan kosmetika untuk memberikan dandanan atau perubahan pada para pemain di atas panggung atau pentas dengan suasana yang sesuai dan wajar, tata busana Endang Caturwati (1996:36), yang dimaksud dengan busana adalah segala yang dikenakan seseorang, yang terdiri dari pakaian dan perlengkapannya (accessories) dan identik dengan kata kostum, dan teori kewirausahaan Thomas W. Zimmerer dalam Suryana (2011:19) menyatakan kewirausahaan adalah proses penerapan kreativitas dan inovasi dalam memecahkan persoalan dan menemukan peluang untuk memperbaiki kehidupan atau usaha. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Nopember sampai dengan Januari 2017. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rumus Korelasi Product Moment Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Prodi Pendidikan Tari Jurusan Sendratasik Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Medan, Jl. Williem Iskandar Pasar V Medan Estate. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa matakuliah tata rias dan busana memberi sumbangan efektif sebesar 80,7% terhadap kewirausahaab jasa Make Up Artist, hal ini dapat dilihat bahwa matakuliah tata rias benar-benar memperhatikan bentuk wajah dengan dengan rias yang diinginkan begitu juga dengan tata  busana yang mana matakuliah tersebut memberikan pengetahuan tentang perbedaan busana adat dan busana kreasi, sehingga lulusan dan mahasiswa termotivasi untuk mengaplikasikan dan mengasah kemampuan untuk menjadi seorang make up artist.  Kata kunci : Tata Rias dan Busana, Kewirausahaan Jasa Make Up Artist.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to discuss about the traditional ceremonies to dispose of pesky ngeletarken a widower, the function of dance and music in traditional ceremonies to dispose of pesky ngeletarken a widower at the Karo people. To discuss this study uses the theories related to topics such as the theory of functions, ceremonial sense, and understanding ngeletarken. When the study was conducted for 2 months ie July to September 2014 was conducted at the research location Pernantin villages, districts Juhar, Karo. The method used to discuss the function of dance in ceremonial ngeletarken in Karo society is a qualitative descriptive method, the population in this study as well sample the peoples in Pernantin,  artists, and cultural figures who know about the function of dance in ceremonial ngeletarken the Karo people. Data collection techniques include library research, observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research conducted, it can be described that essentially ceremonial ngeletarken based on the destination and time of traditional ceremonies ngeletarken implementation can be divided into two, namely: to get rid of pesky a widower who had several times a widower since his partner died and implemented during traditional ceremonies nurun- declining (when a partner dies), and to get rid of pesky couple who do not have children or have children just women or men executed during the ceremony nurun-nurun (when the family realized ceremonial cawer metua). Ngeletarken traditional ceremony was held after the core event or after paying the customs debt. Dance and music are supporting elements that must exist. The actors in traditional ceremonies is a person that will ngeletarken diletarken, kalimbubu, child Beru, sukut, musicians, and the audience who attended the ceremonial nurun-nurun. Ngeletarken traditional ceremony will be held in the ceremonial nurun-nurun, while the sequence of the event are: (bronze, sirang-sirang, custom drums, delivering a message, ngeletarken, custom drum continued, dropping bodies, and cover). The essence of traditional ceremonies ngeletarken is trance. Instruments used in traditional ceremonies is a drum telu ngeletarken sendalanen five sada perarih consisting of sarune, singindungi drum, drum singanaki, gung, and penganak. The drum (music accompaniment) is a ceremonial drum simalungen ngeletarken mass is, drum ins, drum Lawes, and drum procession Arak-araki. Keywords: dance and ceremonial functions ngeletarken

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to make learning tools for Malay Dance based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) for students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram. This study uses theories related to topics such as packaging theory, learning, teaching materials in the form of textbooks and HOTS-based student worksheets. The main theory used in this thesis uses the theory of Andi Prastowo (2014: 17) which states that "Teaching materials are all materials (both information, tools, and texts) that are arranged systematically which displays a complete figure of competencies that will be mastered by students and used in the learning process with the aim of planning and analyzing learning implementation, and Widjajanti's theory (2008: 1) LKS is one of the learning resources that can be developed by the teacher as a facilitator in learning activities, LKS that are arranged can be designed and developed according to conditions and HOTS (Yuniar, et al: 2015) is a thinking ability that tests at a higher level, in the sense that students not only memorize and remember, but must be able to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate. This study uses a qualitative method. The object in this study is the Malay Dance learning tool based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). This research was conducted in May to August 2019, the data obtained were analyzed using qualitative data analysis. The location of this research was carried out in one of the schools in Batu Bara Regency, namely SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram, located at Jl.Sekolah Sukamaju Village, Tanjung Tiram District, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra. The results of this study are in the form of teaching material products in the form of a Malay dance textbook (Dua Song Dance) and Malay Dance Student Worksheet (LKS Dance) in the subject of cultural arts (dance) related to Malay Dance material (Song Dance Two). The packaging of this learning tool was prepared by adjusting the syllabus and Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) for students of class VIII with basic competencies 3.1 understanding the uniqueness of traditional dance moves based on floor patterns using dance support elements. The preparation of this learning tool is designed as for the achievement of learning outcomes both cognitive, affective and psychomotor.Keywords: Learning tools, Malay dance, High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)

Abstract

This study discusses the Triad Telu Serangkai dance in the village of Karo Seberaya which aims to determine the meaning of the symbol of dance TeluSerangkai Triad. To discuss the above research purposes used the theory related to the topic ofresearch, such as the theory of meaning from Anderson in FX translation Widaryanto Anya Peterson (2001: 211-212), the theory of the symbol of Sumandiyo Hadi in his Sociology of Dance (2005: 22). Methodology The study presented in this research use descriptive qualitative data collection techniques done with literature study, observation, interviews, documentation. The research was used to discuss the Triad Telu Serangkai dance for two months, from June to August 2015. The research location is the village of the District Seberaya Tigapanah Karo. Based on research that has been done, the symbol of the dance are the Ones Telu Serangkai young romance in the Karo people. The meaning of the symbol of romance is derived from every movement made, namely: the motion of respect, motion sada tan, motion tan erputar, motion tan datas bara, motion ngelegi pudun, motion mulih, the garment worn by the female dancers, namely: hoods, rudang-rudang , Langge-Langge, kebaya, and songket, clothing that is used by the male dancers, namely: headdress-headdress, twisted-twisted, clothing, canoes, and pants, as well as floor pattern, ie forming two rows.

Abstract

ABSTRACT - This study aims to describe the steps of the Mobile Learning Application in Mak Inang Pak Malau Dance as a Learning Media for Class X High School Students. The theory used to discuss this research is using the theory of Fajar Laksana (2008: 82) states that packaging all activities design and produce a container or packaging of a product. This research makes products using packaging steps in accordance with the opinion of Borg and Gall (1989: 789) including: 1) identifying potentials and problems, 2) gathering information, 3) making product designs, 4) validating designs 5) conducting design revision. The method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative methods. The population is students of the dance education study program at the State University of Medan while the research sample is two students of 2015 Dance Education. which uses the instrument sheet for the assessment of the validation of the media expert and the instrument sheet for the assessment of the material expert validation and data analysis techniques. These data are then analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. The results of this study are to produce learning material products for the delivery of KD 3 Malay concepts, movement techniques, Mak Inang Pak Malau's dance movement procedures which can be seen through the mobile learning application that has been packaged and has been validated by media experts with a final score of 4.7 and material experts. by two validators with a final score of 4.8 belonging to the very good quality category so that it deserves to be used as a learning medium for high school students, especially class X. The use of mobile learning applications can be accessed and downloaded via google playstore by searching for Pak Malau Mak Inang Dance. Keywords: Mobile Learning Application, Mak Inang Pak Malau Dance, High School    ABSTRAK - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah Aplikasi Mobile Learning pada Tari Mak Inang Pak Malau Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Bagi Siswa Kelas X Sekolah Menengah Atas. Teori yang digunakan untuk membahas penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teori dari Fajar Laksana (2008:82) mengemukakan bahwa kemasan segala kegiatan merancang dan memproduksi wadah atau bungkus suatu produk. Penelitian ini membuat produk dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah pengemasan sesuai dengan pendapat Borg dan Gall (1989: 789) diantaranya: 1) melakukan identifikasi potensi dan masalah, 2) mengumpulkan informasi, 3) membuat desain produk, 4) melakukan validasi desain 5) melakukan revisi desain. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif Populasinya adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan tari Universitas Negeri Medan sedangkan sampel penelitiannya adalah dua orang mahasiswa Pendidikan Tari stambuk 2015. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, studi kepustakaan, instrumen penelitian yang menggunakan lembar instrumen penilaian validasi ahli media dan lembar instrumen penilaian validasi ahli materi dan teknik analisis data. Data-data ini kemudian dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk materi pembelajaran untuk penyampaian KD 3 konsep melayu, teknik gerak, prosedur gerak tari Mak Inang Pak Malau yang dapat dilihat melalui aplikasi mobile learning yang sudah dikemas dan telah tervalidasi oleh ahli media dengan skor akhir 4,7 dan ahli materi oleh dua validator dengan skor akhir 4,8 tergolong kepada kategori kualitas Sangat Baik sehingga layak dijadikan media pembelajaran bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas, khususnya kelas X. Penggunaan aplikasi mobile learning dapat diakses dan download melalui google playstore dengan pencarian Tari Mak Inang Pak Malau.  Kata Kunci : Aplikasi Mobile Learning, Tari Mak Inang Pak Malau, Sekolah Menengah Atas

Abstract

This study aimed to describe Zahifa Dance Forms In Marriage Ceremony Arab Society in Medan include: (1) the function of dance, (2) form Dance Zahifa In Marriage Ceremony Arabs in the city of Medan.  The theoretical foundation of this research is grounded in the theory of functions and the theory that examines forms Zahifa dance based on dance, Typewriter and accompaniment, makeup and clothing, as well as the venue floor pattern. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. This research data is, functions and forms of dance Zahifa In Marriage Ceremony Arabs in the city of Medan. The data used is Zahifa dance at Al Fairouz community in Medan. Data were collected with a population of 11 people comprising 1 figure and 10 dancers dance Zahifa, observation, interview, and literature study. Data were analyzed using descriptive techniques. The results of this study as follows. 1) the existence of the Arab city of Medan, where the Arab community in the city of Medan is still very rare, the Arab community in the city of Medan strengthening of family by setting up a container such as community organizations. 2) The wedding ceremony Arab community in the city of Medan. 3) Function Zahifa dance on Arab communities in the city of Medan, namely as a means of ceremonies, performances and entertainment facilities. 4) The form of presentation of dance Zahifa the Arab community in the city of Medan, namely (a) motion, (b) the music or accompaniment, (c) cosmetology, (d) the pattern of the floor, (e) the venue.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research objective of the author is to find out what the values contained in the Reog Ponorogo ritual process are as well as to find out the reason why the ritual ceremonies are still performed today. The theory used in this study is about values and rituals. Value is an order that is used as a guide by individuals to weigh and choose alternative decisions in certain social situations. While the Ritual is a series of words, acts of religion followers or rituals with certain objects, equipment and equipment, in certain places and wearing certain clothes. The research method used is a qualitative research method that can be interpreted as a type of research which is referred to as a new method because of its recent popularity. Also called postpositivisic methods because they are based on the philosophy of postpositivism. This method is also called an artistic method, because the research process is more artistic (less patterned) and is called an interpretive method because the research data is more concerned with interpretation of the data found in the field. Data collection techniques used are interviews, Interviews are meetings of two people to exchange information and ideas through question and answer so that the meaning can be concentrated in a particular topic. So the interview conducted by the author in this study was in-depth interviews about the value of the ritual contained in Reog Ponorogo Perut District, Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang Regency with Mr. Suparno as the owner of Reog Ponorogo in Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency. The results showed that the ritual value in the process of Reog ponorogo staging is a process of refusing reinforcements for dancers and musicians to avoid interference and obstacles when the performance takes place, as a sense of recognition (ngajeni) of the existence of spirits who are believed to be barongan keepers, as a means to bring blessings and salvation for the surrounding community who hold performances and homeowners who are carrying out the event. Want to maintain and preserve the customs that have been carried out by their ancestors as a form of repertoire of national cultural wealth and respect the beliefs of people who are still convinced of magical things (ritual process) Keywords: Reog Ponorogo, Ritual Value, Offering.ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian penulis adalah untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam proses ritual Reog Ponorogo serta untuk mengetahui alasan mengapa upacara ritual masih dilakukan hari ini. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tentang nilai dan ritual. Nilai adalah perintah yang digunakan sebagai panduan oleh individu untuk menimbang dan memilih keputusan alternatif dalam situasi sosial tertentu. Sedangkan ritual adalah serangkaian kata, tindakan pengikut agama atau ritual dengan benda, peralatan dan peralatan tertentu, di tempat-tempat tertentu dan mengenakan pakaian tertentu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif yang dapat diartikan sebagai jenis penelitian yang disebut sebagai metode baru karena popularitasnya saat ini. Disebut juga metode postpositifisik karena didasarkan pada filosofi postpositifisme. Metode ini juga disebut metode artistik, karena proses penelitian lebih artistik (kurang berpola) dan disebut metode interpretatif karena data penelitian lebih mementingkan interpretasi data yang ditemukan di lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, Wawancara adalah pertemuan dua orang untuk bertukar informasi dan ide melalui tanya jawab sehingga maknanya bisa terkonsentrasi dalam topik tertentu. Kemudian wawancara mendalam tentang nilai ritual yang terkandung dalam Reog Ponorogo di Desa Kolam Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang dilakukan dengan Bapak Suparno sebagai pemilik Reog Ponorogo di Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai ritual dalam proses pementasan Reog Ponorogo adalah sebagai proses menolak bala bantuan bagi penari dan musisi untuk menghindari gangguan dan hambatan ketika pertunjukan berlangsung, sebagai rasa pengakuan (ngajeni) dari keberadaan arwah yang sedang diyakini sebagai penjaga barongan, sebagai sarana untuk membawa berkah dan keselamatan bagi masyarakat sekitar yang mengadakan pertunjukan dan pemilik rumah yang sedang melaksanakan acara tersebut. Ingin mempertahankan dan melestarikan adat istiadat yang telah dilakukan oleh nenek moyang mereka sebagai bentuk repertoar kekayaan budaya nasional dan menghormati kepercayaan orang-orang yang masih yakin akan hal-hal magis (proses ritual)Kata Kunci : Reog Ponorogo, Nilai Ritual, Sesaji.

Abstract

The aim of this writing is to descript the presentation of landek, to descript the symbolic interaction, and to descript landek symbol in Ngampeken Tulan-tulan tradition ceremony of Karo society.the research was carried out for 3 months, from june 2013 to august 2013. the place of research is in rumanis village barus jahe subdistrict Karo regency. Ngampeken tulan tulan tradition ceremony is raise bone, a tradition ceremony that still doing by karo society for give the last respect to parents who had died or built Geriten (monument or special building to saving cranium) landek in ngampeken tulan tulan ceremony have a part to deliver meaning in the process of traditon ceremony with a simple dancing and to deliver family's sorrow to be patient and not to deep in sadness. there is symbolic interaction in ngampeken tulan tulan tradition ceremony that shown on dancing (landek) in family of karo society named rakut sitelu. rakut sitelu have duty and responsibility based on tradition. landek symbol as a deliver meaning in ngampeken tulan tulan tradition ceremony. where sukut, kalimbubu, anak beru is dancing followed music and lyrics (pengapul) from perkolong-kolong

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the packaging of teaching materials on the material of Appreciation and Expression of the Tapa-tapa Dance through audio visual to be taught to students of class X of High Schools in North Sumatra. In addition, it describes the steps and results in making Tapa-tapa Dance packaging through audio visual to be taught to high school students in North Sumatra. The theories used are Setyosari's (2015) packaging theory, namely packaging steps which include planning, compilation, production, and evaluation. The theory of teaching materials Prastowo (2015) is a teaching material that is arranged systematically and used for the learning process in the form of audio visual. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The instrument used to test the feasibility of audio visual teaching material (VCD) is to use the Audio Visual Product Validation Test (VCD) questionnaire and the Material Validation Test Questionnaire, this questionnaire consists of aspects of assessment which are based on competency standards. This research resulted in an audio visual teaching material product VCD for Tapa-tapa dance material. Starting from (1) Planning by making teaching materials, selecting dancers, determining the location of taking photos and videos of products, and preparing facilities and infrastructure, (2) Preparation, where all teaching materials for KD 3 appreciation and KD 4 expressions covering background behind the Tapa-tapa dance, the Tapa-tapa dance function, the basic movements of the Tapa-tapa dance, cosmetology, fashion, musical instruments, tutorials and video performances of the Tapa-tapa dance performance that can be used as teaching material in dance learning, (3) Production is editing of images and sound results using Wondershare Filmore, (4) Evaluation, conducted by 2 validators for material validation and 1 validator for audio visual validation (VCD) by providing a validation questionnaire. In the validation stage, the results of validation by material experts with a score of 4.6 and validation by audio visual product (VCD) experts with a score of 4.4. From the score the product of teaching material in the form of audio visual (VCD) got a very good category applied to students of class X of High School in North Sumatra. Keywords: Packaging, Teaching Materials, Audio Visual (VCD) ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengemasan bahan ajar pada materi Apresiasi dan Ekspresi Tari Tapa-tapa melalui audio visual untuk diajarkan kepada siswa kelas X Sekolah Menengah Atas di Sumatera Utara. Selain itu mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah dan hasil dalam pembuatan pengemasan Tari Tapa-tapa melalui audio visual untuk dapat diajarkan kepada siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas di Sumatera Utara. Teori-teori yang digunakan adalah teori pengemasan Setyosari (2015) yaitu langkah-langkah pengemasan yang meliputi perencanaan, penyusunan, produksi, dan evaluasi. Teori bahan ajar Prastowo (2015) yaitu materi ajar yang disusun sistematis dan digunakan untuk proses pembelajaran dalam bentuk audio visual. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif.  Instrumen yang digunakan untuk menguji kelayakan bahan ajar audio visual (VCD) adalah dengan menggunakan angket Uji Validasi Produk Audio Visual (VCD) dan Angket Uji Validasi Materi, angket ini terdiri dari aspek penilaian yaitu berdasarkan standar kompetensi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu produk bahan ajar audio visual VCD materi tari Tapa-tapa. Dimulai dari (1) Perencanaan dengan pembuatan materi bahan ajar, pemilihan penari, penetapan lokasi pengambilan foto dan video produk, serta penyiapan sarana dan prasarana, (2) Penyusunan, dimana semua materi bahan ajar kegiatan  KD 3 apresiasi dan KD 4 ekspresi yg meliputi latar belakang tari Tapa-tapa, fungsi tari Tapa-tapa, gerak dasar tari Tapa-tapa, tata rias, tata busana, alat musik, tutorial serta penampilan video pertunjukan tari Tapa-tapa yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pada pembelajaran tari, (3) Produksi yakni penyuntingan hasil gambar dan suara dengan menggunakan Wondershare Filmore, (4) Evaluasi, dilakukan oleh 2 validator untuk validasi materi dan 1 validator untuk validasi audio visual (VCD) dengan cara pemberian angket validasi. Pada tahap validasi, dengan hasil validasi oleh ahli materi dengan skor 4,6 dan validasi oleh ahli produk audio visual (VCD) dengan skor 4,4. Dari skor tersebut produk bahan ajar dalam bentuk audio visual (VCD) mendapat kategori sangat baik diterapkan untuk siswa kelas X Sekolah Menengah Atas di Sumatera Utara.Kata Kunci: Pengemasan, Bahan Ajar, Audio Visual (VCD)
