Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari interaksi konsentrasi etilena dan urea untuk membuat tanaman berbunga serempak. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi etilena (A) yang terdiri dari 5 level, 0,25 ml.L-1 (A1); 0,5 ml.L-1 (A2); 0,75 ml.L-1 (A3); 1 ml.L-1 (A4); 1,25 ml.L-1 (A5). Faktor kedua (B) adalah konsentrasi urea yang terdiri dari 3 level, 5 gr.L-1 (B1), 10 gr.L-1 (B2) dan 15 gr .L-1 (B3). Penelitian dilaksanakan Juni-Desember 2018. Variabel pengamatan adalah persentase bunga yang muncul, diameter bunga, kecepatan berbunga dan persentase pembungaan. Pengamatan dimulai pada 40 hari setelah forcing (HSF), 50 HSF, dan 60 HSF. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada interaksi yang sangat nyata antara konsentrasi etilena dan konsentrasi urea pada keseragaman berbunga nanas. Kombinasi A3B3 (0,75 konsentrasi etilena ml. L -1 dan urea 15 gr.L-1) tidak berbeda nyata dari kombinasi A2B2 (konsentrasi etilen 0,5 ml.L-1 dan urea 10 gr.L-1) dan merupakan kombinasi terbaik dalam setiap variabel dibanding kombinasi lainnya. A2B2 dan A3B3 dapat direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan keseragaman pembungaan nanas.

Abstract

This research was conducted on 15 Januari until 15 April 2017, in Blitar. The study used a randomized complete block design with 8 treatment combinations: are A: combination of green eggplant varieties with urine dose 80 ml/plant, B: of green eggplant variety with urine dose 120 cc/plant, C: eggplant varieties green with a urine dose of 160 cc/plant, D: green eggplant varieties with urine dose 200 cc/plant, purple eggplant varieties with urine dose 80 cc/plant, F: purple eggplant varieties with urine dose 120 cc/plant, G: purple eggplant varieties with urine dose 160 cc/plant, H: purple eggplant varieties with urine dose 200 cc/plant, this research was repeated 3 times so obtained 24 unit experiment, each experiment plot consist of 15 plants. Variables observed include plant height, number of leaves, total fruit weight, fruit length and amount of fruit per plant. Giving cow urine has a significant effect on the variables of plant height, number of leaves, fruit weight, fruit length, number of fruits per plant. The best treatment is a combination of purple eggplant and 160 – 200 cc/plant of biourine.Keywords: eggplant, biourine

Abstract

PBRM (Plant Beneficial Rhizospheric Microorganism) is a microbe that is able to form colonies in plant roots (rhizosphere) that have the ability to fix nitrogen (N), and dissolve potassium (K), phosphorus (P), and zinc (Zn). Increasing NUE can increase plant growth through various mechanisms. Population and dynamics of rhizosphere microorganisms are different from other soil microorganisms, this is caused by an increase. The purpose of this study was to determine the type of rhizosphere bacteria that can be as PBRM. The method used The research was conducted at the Microbiology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University, Malang. The characterization process was carried out in UB's microbiology laboratory. 50 grams of soil for planting corn were put into an erlenmeyer containing 500 ml NB (for bacteria) and 500 ml liquid PDA (for mold) and then incubated with the secretary for about 24 hours and then diluted in series to a dilution rate of 10-3,10-4,10 -5. Then from the dilution factor of 10-3,10-4,10-5 0.1 ml is taken and inoculated in solid media by the pour plate method. The results showed that the antagonistic rhizosphere bacteria were P. fluorescens, B. subtillis, and Rhizobium sp.

Abstract

  ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui interaksi antara kombinasi media tanam dan dosis Trichoderma sp. cair terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai rawi. Rancangan yang digunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdapat 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah kombinasi media tanam dengan 3 level yaitu M1=tanah; M2=tanah : arang sekam (1:1); dan M3=tanah : arang sekam : pupuk kandang (1:1:1). Faktor kedua yaitu dosis Trichoderma sp. cair dengan 3 level yaitu T1= 5 ml per tanaman, T2= 10 ml/tanaman, dan T3=15 ml/tanaman. Variabel yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, total jumlah buah, dan total bobot buah. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (Uji F) dan tes lebih lanjut dengan uji duncan (DMRT) taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: terdapat interaksi yang sangat nyata pada kombinasi media tanam tanah, arang sekam, pupuk kandang dan pemberian Trichoderma sp. cair, kombinasi terbaik yaitu perlakuan media tanam tanah, arang sekam, pupuk kandang yang ditambahkan larutan Trichoderma sp. cair 10 ml (M3T2) pada variabel tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang pada umur 14, 28, 42, 56, dan 70 HST, kombinasi terbaik yaitu perlakuan media tanam tanah, arang sekam, pupuk kandang yang ditambahkan larutan Trichoderma sp. cair 10 ml (M3T2) pada variabel total jumlah buah pertanaman sebesar 98,98 buah dan total bobot buah peranaman sebesar 104,31 gram. ABSTRACTThe aim of the research was to  determine 1.   interaction of the different planting media and the dose of Trichoderma sp. to the growth and yield of ot chili  plants, 2. the effect of planting media to the growth and yield of hot chili  plants production, 3) the effect of Trichoderma sp. to growth and yield of hot chili plant production. The design used was a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) which contained 2 factors and was repeated 3 times. The first factor are the combination of planting media with 3 levels, namely soil, soil : husk charcoal (1:1), soil : husk charcoal : manure (1:1:1). The second factor are dosage of Trichoderma sp.  solution. with 3 levels namely Trichoderma sp. 5 ml per polybag of plant, Trichoderma sp. 10 ml / polybag of plant, Trichoderma sp. 15 ml/polybag of plant. Variables observed included plant height, stem diameter, total number of fruits, and total fruit weight. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (F test) and further tests with duncan test (DMRT) level of 5%. The results showed that: there is a very real interaction in the combination of soil planting media, husk charcoal, manure and Trichoderma sp. liquid, the best combination is the treatment of soil planting media, husk charcoal, manure added with Trichoderma sp. 10 ml liquid (M3T2) at variable plant height and stem diameter at the ages of 14, 28, 42, 56, and 70 DAP (Day After Planting). The best combination was the treatment of soil planting media, husk charcoal, manure added with Trichoderma sp. 10 ml/polybag of plant (M3T2) in  variable of the number of fruits total was 98.98 and the total fruit weight was 104.31 grams.

Abstract

Community empowerment is a way to increase and strengthen community skills to participate in development which is carried out energetically. The expected result is that the community can resolve the problems experienced in a more flexible (independent) and self-sufficient way. The community empowerment approach that is realized in development in a participatory manner (Participatory Rural Appraissal) is very suitable for business groups so that they can then overcome problems that arise. in group activities. The partner of this service is the Tunas Berkah Women's Farmers Group which operates in the field of vegetable plant breeding, which is domiciled in RW 04 Gedog Village, Sananwetan District, Blitar City. Service Objectives: to form partners who are more productive and have a high entrepreneurial spirit and values, to improve students' experience of studying outside campus as one of the implementations of MBKM. Implementation of activities includes program planning, administrative preparation and team coordination, Continuous assistance from pre-production to post-production, Activity Evaluation and Control. The results of the activities achieved are Overcoming seed production problems, overcoming business management and human resource problems, Overcoming seed marketing problems. Using the PRA method, FGD activities, PRA training/socialization, nursery cultivation training, nursery business management training, and marketing have been carried out which can increase the capacity of groups with larger business scales that have an organizational and economic impact.

Abstract

Since the establishment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015, sustainability issues in the economic and social sectors have gained significant attention. The Indonesian government is committed to restoring the national economy to a better state than before the pandemic by transitioning towards a green or circular economy. The circular economy aims to maximize the utility and added value of raw materials, components, and products to reduce waste. According to the 2022 data from the National Waste Management Information System (SIPSN), 34.29% (7.2 million tons) of the 21.1 million tons of national waste remain unmanaged. Collaborative efforts between central and regional governments continue to implement effective waste management policies based on circular economy principles. The methods employed in this program include training and mentoring in processing organic and inorganic waste into marketable products, information management training, business management enhancement, human resources training, and collaboration with other waste banks. The results indicate an increase in the production capacity of the Tunas Sejahtera Waste Bank from 300 kg to 1 ton per month. Training in management and marketing has also improved operational efficiency and expanded market reach, thereby increasing revenue and enhancing the circular economy's impact

Abstract

The Ministry of Agriculture is promoting the Sustainable Food Program (P2L) which aims to meet people's needs for food and nutritional consumption patterns as well as ways to maximize empty land which can be used as an opportunity for conservation (Annonimous, 2021). Another aim is to increase community awareness and family knowledge about the processing and care of food plants, fruit and vegetables for cultivation, encourage the growth of seeds or plants so that their sustainability is maintained and increase the community's productive income by supplying and utilizing empty land in their respective home gardens. In the field, it is still difficult to implement P2L in the target group, namely the Women Farmers Group in the city of Blitar. For this reason, outreach and coaching activities are needed so that group understanding and awareness can increase enthusiasm in implementing it, so that it will increase the availability, accessibility and use of their yards as a source of food as well as collecting cash. Community organizations are involved in this organization. By utilizing the yard, the community is encouraged to grow food crops, vegetables, fruit, medicinal plants, tuber plants as an alternative for food diversification as part of the P2L program. More than that, the P2L program is an agricultural business in or around the city that utilizes knowledge, experience and creativity to cultivate and process food for the community by utilizing empty land and yards to contribute to nutrition, improve the local community's economy and improve welfare (Aini , 2015). P2L activities are carried out using sustainable agricultural development methods, utilization of local resources (local wisdom), community empowerment (community engagement), and marketing focus strategies to achieve these goals (go to market). The implementation is planting various plants through nursery work, demonstration plots, planting, post-harvest work and commercialization. (Musdalifah et al., 2023) The activity was carried out using a lecture method explaining the legality of P2L implementation, implementation, implementation procedures to 20 KWTs in the Blitar City Area by the proposer of Unisba Blitar Internal PKM 2024.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to apply digital marketing of an independent fermentation booster to increase the income of the Sustainable Farmers Group II located in Tegalrejo Village, Selopuro District, Blitar Regency. In general, this group focuses energy and time on developing an independent fermentation booster for their silage. The process of implementing digital marketing with empowerment begins with intensive training in making independent fermentation boosters. Farmers are thoroughly trained in proper fermentation techniques to produce high quality silage. This training not only emphasizes technical skills, but also introduces essential business management concepts. Farmers are taught production planning, quality control, and inventory management to ensure consistency and sustainability in their booster production. They gain skills in brand building, creating engaging content, and leveraging digital analytics to increase the visibility and sales of their self-fermentation boosters with digital marketing. Assistance has been proven to be able to increase income results through making fermentation boosters independently, while the excess from making it becomes added value for resale and is able to provide side income which has results equivalent to the Blitar Regency minimum wage, this is significant in increasing income for farmer groups Lestari II in optimizing their agricultural potential in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Gogodeso Village consists of settlements, moorland, people's plantations, rice fields with a village area of 383 Ha. In general, livelihoods are identified into several sectors, namely agriculture (mostly), services/trade, industry and others. One of the farmer empowerment programs is the Tani Makmur Jaya Self-Help Agricultural and Rural Training Center (P4S). In its activities, P4S consistently and routinely develops organic farming, one of which is making organic fertilizer and carrying out healthy cultivation practices.   However, they experienced problems with production, management and human resources and marketing. The implementation methods used are: (1) Planning (2) Administrative preparation and team coordination (3) Socialization of Organic Fertilizer (4) Training in Making Organic Fertilizer (5) Management and marketing training (6) Mentoring (7) Supervising related production activities and post-production (8) Evaluation (9) Program sustainability. Community-based empowerment activities in increasing the capacity of AgroEcofarm-based businesses at P4S Tani Makmur Jaya can run smoothly, including the transfer of organic fertilizer technology, transfer of business management and human resources and transfer of marketing branding. In making fertilizer, production can be increased by 2000 bottles of POC/year and 2000 sacks/year of solid organic fertilizer respectively. Apart from that, there are new brands for P4S fertilizer, namely POC Orchomi and Biokosh for solid organic fertilizer.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the effect of differences in melon cultivation in two greenhouse construction designs which provide the best results on the growth and yield of melon plants (Cucumis melo L.). The research was conducted from July to September 2022 at the Balitar Islamic University of Blitar Greenhouse. The design used is a dependent analysis method which tests the relationship between independent variables. The analysis technique used is the parametric t-test. The t-test difference test was carried out on two category groups with the condition of two paired sample groups (paired sample t-test). The variables observed were plant height (cm), number of side shoots (strands), stem diameter (cm) and fresh fruit weight (gr). The results showed that the Greenhouse 1 (GH1) design provided an agro-climatic environment that was more in line with the environment needed by the melon plants significantly compared to the GH2 design so as to provide better melon plant growth and better yields. The average fruit fresh weight for melon plants cultivated in GH1 was 1008.52 grams of side shoots which was significantly better than in GH2 which was 968.32 grams.
