Abstract

Childhood tuberculosis (TB) remains a public health problem in Indonesia, including in Aceh Besar Regency. Efforts to prevent childhood TB require the active involvement of teachers and mothers as key actors in school and family environments. This community service aims to describe the attitudes, roles, readiness, practices, and acceptance of childhood TB educational media among teachers and mothers as agents of childhood TB prevention. The service employed a descriptive quantitative design with a total of 20 respondents, consisting of teachers and mothers. Data were collected using a four-point Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted descriptively by presenting frequency distributions, percentages, and mean scores. The results indicate that most respondents have a positive attitude toward childhood TB prevention (mean score 3.55), a good role as prevention agents (3.48), good readiness (3.50), good preventive practices (3.42), and very good acceptance of educational media (3.65). These findings suggest that teachers and mothers have significant potential as agents of childhood TB prevention in school and family settings. Strengthening their roles through guidance and integration of programs with health facilities is necessary to ensure the sustainability of childhood TB prevention efforts.

Abstract

This mentoring aims to describe the implementation of student discipline mentoring through congregational prayer habits at the Indonesian Embassy's PNF Community Learning Center (PKBM PNF) in Kuala Lumpur and analyze its influence on the formation of religious character. The problem lies in the low consistency of students in performing congregational prayers, especially outside of school. The method used is service learning, involving the supervising teacher, students, and the principal as the subjects of the activity. The results show that the habit of congregational prayer is carried out routinely every day and has become part of the school culture. This program not only forms the habit of regular worship but also instills religious values such as time discipline, togetherness, and a sense of responsibility for spiritual obligations. In addition to being a worship routine, this activity serves as a means of character formation that is integrated into the educational process. The support of the school environment and the example of teachers also play an important role in maintaining the consistency of this habit. Thus, mentoring through congregational prayer habits has proven effective in improving discipline and strengthening the religious character of students at the Indonesian Embassy's PNF Community Learning Center (PKBM PNF) in Kuala Lumpur.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a maritime country with an area of approximately 3,544 million km2 or 75% of the total area of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) with the second longest coastline in the world, has abundant marine resources, one of which is shrimp that can be processed into shrimp paste. Shrimp paste, a traditional fermented product with high economic value, is still managed in a simple manner by business operators, such as Mrs. Eva's family business in Beringin Village, which has been operating since 2000 with a production capacity of 35 kg per period, increasing to 70 kg during Eid al-Fitr. This community service activity aims to increase production capacity and expand the marketing of shrimp paste businesses through the application of simple production strategies and digital marketing. The results show that the business faces problems of limited raw materials, manual processes, price fluctuations, and marketing that is limited to the local market without branding or digitalization. However, the business has a high profit margin and a distinctive taste that is a competitive advantage. Empowering businesses through production optimization and digital marketing strategies has proven to be able to improve product quality, strengthen business identity, and expand market access. Digitalization and simple innovations effectively boost the competitiveness of SMEs based on local wisdom. Recommendations include diversifying raw materials, standardizing production, providing ongoing training in branding and digital marketing, and fostering multi stakeholder collaboration to expand impact and ensure business sustainability.

Abstract

Fun learning is a learning approach that emphasizes a fun and interactive learning process that can increase student engagement and motivation. In general, fun learning can be defined as a learning strategy that creates an effective and engaging learning atmosphere, by utilizing games, interactive media, and fun activities so that the learning process does not only focus on receiving material, but also on students' direct experience in constructing their own knowledge. This method has been initiated by educators as a way to make learning more interesting and can improve overall student learning achievement starting from Observation and Introduction to the Environment, Design and Preparation of Fun Learning Media, Implementation of Fun Learning Activities, Reflection and Simple Evaluation and Preparation of Final Reports. The results of this activity The use of the Fun Learning Activity method also shows that fun learning can create a warm and comfortable classroom climate. Students who initially tended to be shy, hesitant, or lacked confidence, gradually began to dare to express themselves, interact in English, and follow teacher instructions with enthusiasm. These interactive activities allow students to learn through direct experience, so that the knowledge gained becomes more embedded and can be applied in relevant contexts.
