Abstract

Crystal guava cultivation is widely developed in Ciwaringin Village, Lemahabang District, so that the development of crystal guava is in great demand by farmers, this development aims to meet market demand for crystal guava which is quite high with low supply from farmers and other reasons that are the basis is a pretty good market opportunity because it has been able to enter big markets in urban areas. Minim of information for farmers related to the research conducted in Ciwaringin Village is one of the factors for the lack of information for the development of crystal guava cultivation, thus making researchers want to analyze how technical and financial feasibility is on crystal guava farming in Ciwaringin Village, Lemahabang District, Karawang Regency.The business feasibility analysis carried out on crystal guava cultivation is the financial feasibility aspect includes the calculation of NPV, Gross B/C, Net B/C, IRR, Profitability Ratio, and the calculation of the length of the payback period (Payback Period), with the results of the NPV study of Rp.770.335.968, Gross B/C = 1.41, Net B/C = 2.27, IRR = 47,13%, PR = 1.27, and the rate of return on investment business investment PP (Payback Period) for 2.3 years, based on the results of the analysis, the cultivation of crystal guava in Ciwaringin Village, Lemahabang District, Karawang Regency can be said to be feasible

Abstract

This study aims to determine: The effect of the interaction of organic fertilizer dose of coffee husk waste and quinine wood vinegar concentration on the growth of coffee seeds in nurseries. The research was carried out on the land of the Faculty of Agribusiness and Agricultural Engineering, Subang University, West Java Province with an altitude of 118 meters above sea level with an average temperature of 28 – 30 C, the experiment was carried out from May to July 2019, the type of rainfall was very wet. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a Randomized Block Design with a factorial pattern consisting of 2 treatment factors. The first factor is the dose of coffee husk waste (P) consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely p0 = 0 t ha-1 organic fertilizer for coffee husk waste; p1 = 5 t ha-1 organic fertilizer from coffee husk waste; p2 = 10 t ha-1 organic fertilizer from coffee husk waste; p3 = 15 t ha-1 organic fertilizer from coffee husk waste. The second factor is the concentration of quinine vinegar (C) which consists of 4 levels of treatment, namely c0 = 0% quinine vinegar; c1 = 1% quinine vinegar; c2 = 2% quinine vinegar; and c3 = 3% quinine vinegar. The results showed that for the treatment of organic fertilizer coffee husk waste at 6 WAP and 8 WAP there was an increase in growth at a dose of 5 t ha. Wood vinegar concentration of 3% gave significant growth at 6 WAP observations and the best results. There was no interaction between the use of organic fertilizer dose of coffee husk waste and quinine wood vinegar concentration on the growth of coffee seeds in the nursery.

Abstract

The prospect of siam oranges (Citrus nobilis var.Microcarva Hoslk) farming development in subdistrict of Samarang, the district of Garut. The objectives of this study is to evaluate : (1) basic of farmer’s consideration in developing their siam oranges farming business, (2) prospect of siam orange farming business development from the view points its investment feasibility aspects, and prospect of siam orange farming business development from the view points of its strength, weaknesess, opportunities and threat. A survey was conducted in this study with a sample consisted of 63 farmers respondent which sorted out through two stage cluster random sampling technique The result of this study indicated that : The Price of orange was mainly considered in developing siam orang in the subdistrict of Samarang. Siam Orange farming business in this subdistrict was profitable as indicated by its Net Present Value (NPV): Rp.209.975.657,81, Benefit cost ratio (B/C) ; 1,63 and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) : 28,83%. Payback periods was reached with the period of 5 years and 7 mounths after planting. Sensitivity analysis indicated that siam orange business still profitable, despite the increase in production costs and a 10% decrease in benefits to the assumption of delay years. SWOT analysis indicated that siam orange farming business in this subdistrict was on the Strength – Opportunity quadrant which mean that this business should be optimally encourged to enter the market.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to determine the interaction between chicken manure dose and NPK (16:16:16) and also to obtain the dose that can give the best effect on the growth and yield of potato plants (Solanum tuberosum L.) Varieties of Granola. The research was carried out on August to November 2020, in Pangkalan Kamojang, Laksana Village, Ibun District, Bandung Regency, West Java with an altitude of 1.500 m above sea level. This research used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 3 replications. Factor I: Dose of chicken manure (k1 = 5 tons/ha, k2 = 10 tons/ha, k3 = 15 tons/ha). Factor II: Dose of NPK 16:16:16 (n1 = 350 kg/ha, n2 = 400 kg/ha, n3 = 450 kg/ha). The results showed that there was an interaction between the dose of chicken manure and NPK (16:16:16) on the weight of tubers per plant. The best results were shown by the combination of k3n2 treatment (15 ton/ha chicken manure dose and 400 kg/ha NPK 16:16:16). Dose treatment of chicken manure gave effect on plant height, number of stems, number and weight of tubers per plant, and tuber weight per plot. Dose treatment of NPK (16:16:16) gave effect on plant height, number of stems, number and weight of tubers per plant, and tuber weight per plot. Keywords: Potato, dosage, chicken manure, NPK

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jarak tanam dan jumlah benih terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) Varietas Paragon. Percobaan dilaksanakan di Sukamulya, RT 01 RW 11, Desa Cikoneng, Kecamatan Ciparay, Kabupaten Bandung, Provinsi Jawa Barat. pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan bulan November 2021. Daerah ini terletak pada ketinggian ±700 meter diatas permukaan laut,dengan pH tanah 6,46. Curah hujan rata-rata adalah 2.598,4 mm/tahun ,termasuk curah hujan tipe B2 berdasarkan klasifikasi Oldeman. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok pola faktorial dengan tiga ulangan dan terdiri dari dua faktor perlakuan. Faktor pertama adalah jarak tanam (j1 = 75 x 20 cm, j2 = 75 x 40 cm, j3 = 50 x 25 x 100 cm) dan faktor kedua adalah jumlah benih (b1 = 1 benih, b2 = 2 benih, b3 = 3 benih). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terjadi interaksi antara jarak tanam dan jumlah benih terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis (Zea mays sacharata Sturt) varietas paragon. Perlakuan jarak tanam (j1) memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan perlakuan jumlah benih (b3) memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata terhadap bobot tanaman per petak. Abstract

Alluvial soil in this study is a vertic endoaquepts paddy soil type, which is an alluvial paddy soil with a wide distribution in the Pantura area, West Java, originating from a long river deposition system with various types of erosion materials. This soil has a high mineral content of easily weathered sand, especially feldspars. The presence of quartz, orthoclase and sanidine minerals indicates the presence of acidic materials. This also causes the content of chemical elements in this alluvial deposit to be low, so it is necessary to add organic materials such as municipal waste compost and cow manure which can improve the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil. The aim of the study was to determine the response of several physical properties of alluvial soil to a combination of municipal waste compost and cow manure after being planted with pakcoy in Alluvial, Indramayu. The objective of this research was to find out relationship between water content and soil bulk density to the harvest of pakcoy after combined with municipal waste compost and cow manure in Alluvial, Indramayu. This study used a randomized block design factorial with two factors. The first factor is municipal waste compost and the second factor is cow manure. Each of them consisted of 4 levels : 0%, 3.0%, 6.0%, and 9.0% with two replication. The results showed that there was no interaction between municipal waste compost with cow manure and municipal waste compost with cow manure had no significant effect on soil water content of pakcoy plants after harvest. Meanwhile, cow manure has an independent effect on soil bulk density in pakcoy plants after harvest. The largest decrease in soil density occurred at a dose of 9.0% (k4), but the addition of cow manure at a dose of 3.0% (k2) was able to reduce the soil bulk density. This K2 treatment was not significantly different from the other treatments. A decrease in soil density to 1.15 g cm-3 (k2) is considered ideal for mineral soils, because in general the bulk density of mineral soils is between 1.1 – 1.6 g cm-3.

Abstract

Corn is still the second strategic commodity after rice because in some areas, corn is still the second staple food after rice. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best effect of the combination dosage of Mycorrhizal Vesicle Arabuscula (MVA) and SP 36 fertilizer on growth. and sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt.) of Talenta variety. The experiment was carried out in Pangkalan Village, Bumiwangi Village, Ciparay District, Bandung Regency, West Java Province. With an altitude of 702 meters above sea level, with a rainfall of 2,417.40 mm/year including the type of C3 rainfall according to Oldeman (1975). With a soil pH of 6.8. The experiment was carried out from April 2021 to June 2022. The research method used was an experimental method with a Randomized Block Design (RBD), which consisted of six treatments and was repeated four times, namely: A (10 g MVA and 0 g SP36), B (0 g MVA and 2.81 g SP36), C (5 g MVA and 1.41 g SP36) D (5 g MVA and 2.81 g SP36), E (10 g MVA and 1.41 g SP36) and F (10 g MVA and 2.81 g SP36). The number of plants in this experiment was 768 plants. The results showed that the combination dosage of 10 g MVA and 1.41 g SP36 (75 kg/ha) gave a better effect on: plant height, number of leaves,  length of ear without stalks, and weight of cobs without husks per plot of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) Talenta variety.   Keywords: corn, dosege, fertilizer, mocorrhiza, SP36

Abstract

Coffee is an agricultural commodity that is very popular with the people of Indonesia at this time. Many Indonesians lately spend their time just enjoying coffee in coffee shops. The increase in consumers of ready-to-eat coffee in Bandung has resulted in the opening of many coffee shops that offer various types of quality local coffee, supported by comfortable places, affordable prices and delicious coffee flavors. This study aims to determine the effect of the 4P marketing mix on the sale of coffee drinks at Kedai Kopi (Case Study at Kedai Bob's Lounge). The research location is at Jalan Captain Surwono No. 196 RT 03 RW 03 Banjaran District, Bandung Regency. The research location was chosen purposively (deliberately). The sampling method used in this study is accidental sampling method, so the sample in this study is coffee consumers who come and buy coffee to Bob's lounge and are considered suitable to be respondents, namely as many as 40 people. The data collection method was obtained from primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from direct interviews with consumers who come directly to the shop. Secondary data is obtained from various sources, such as journals, internet, thesis, and data from government agencies. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 25. The results of the study of the influence of 4P on consumer purchases of coffee at Bob's lounge coffee shop using the F test showed that the 4P variables (Product, Price, Place and Promotion) simultaneously had a positive and significant effect. on consumer purchasing decisions for coffee at Bob's Lounge coffee shop, where the value of Fcount is 3,554 > Ftable 3,06. while the most dominant variable in influencing purchases is the price variable, based on the results of the T test, the value of Tcount is 3.106> Ttable is 2.119.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and study the effect of the best combination dosage of NPK (15:15:15) and KCl fertilizer on the growth and yield of edamame (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) Ryoko-75 variety. The experiment was carried out in Sukamaju Village, Cimaung District, Bandung Regency, West Java Province, with an altitude of 860 meters above sea level. With a rainfall of 2417.40 mm/year, according to Oldeman (1975), it belongs to the C3 type of rainfall, with a pH of 5.74. The research method used was an experimental method using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) which consisted of 6 treatments and was repeated 4 times so that there were 24 experimental plots. The levels of treatment are: A (100 kg/ha NPK + 250 kg/ha KCl), B (150 kg/ha NPK + 200 kg/ha KCl), C (200 kg/ha NPK + 150 kg/ha KCl), D (250 kg/ha NPK + 100 kg/ha KCl), E (300 kg/ha NPK + 50 kg/ha KCl) and F (350 kg/ha NPK + 0 kg/ha KCl). The results showed that the dosage of 350 kg/ha NPK + 0 kg/ha KCl gave a better effect on plant height, number of pods per plant, pod weight per plant and pod weight per plot of edamame (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) plants. Ryoko-75 variety.

Abstract

Jagung (Zea mays L.) merupakan bahan pangan kedua setelah padi. Permintaan akan kebutuhan jagung semakin bertambah setiap tahunnya, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk meningkatkan produktivitas jagung yang optimal. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan yaitu dengan pemberian pupuk. Pemupukan yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan pemberian urea dengan dosis yang sesuai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Citaman, Kecamatan Nagreg, Kabupaten Bandung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental berupa Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan dosis Urea adalah 6 taraf, yaitu : A = 0 kg/ha (kontrol), B = 100 kg/ha, C = 200 kg/ha, D = 300 kg/ha, E 400 kg/ha dan F = 500 kg/ha. Pengujian beda dua rata-rata dilakukan dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda nyata pada dosis urea sebesar 500 kg/ha pada pertumbuhan jagung fase vegetatif dengan parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan fase generatif dengan parameter rata-rata bobot tongkol kelobot per plot, diameter tongkol per tanaman, rata-rata berat kering per tanaman. Pemberian dosis urea 300 kg/ha memberikan pengaruh lebih baik pada luas kanopi. Kata kunci: jagung hibrida, urea, bisi 18, dosis, hasil
