Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has influenced many aspects of students’ academicactivities, especially in decision-making processes. Many university students now use AI-based tools to helpthem understand assignments, generate ideas, and evaluate information during their studies. This study aimsto examine students’ reliance on AI-based decision support systems and identify several related factors,including trust and critical thinking. A quantitative survey method was used in this research, and data werecollected from 60 university students from different academic backgrounds in the Jabodetabek area throughan online questionnaire distributed using Google Forms. The collected data were analyzed using descriptivestatistics. The findings showed that AI tools were widely used among students, with many respondentsdemonstrating moderate to high levels of reliance on AI systems. Although students tended to trust AIgeneratedoutputs, many respondents still evaluated the information critically before using it in academictasks. However, some respondents also believed that excessive AI usage could reduce independent thinkingabilities. Overall, the findings suggest that AI provides both benefits and potential risks in academic contexts.Therefore, students should use AI in a balanced and critical manner so that technology can support learningwithout reducing independent thinking and decision-making abilities.

Abstract

This study explored the influence of recommendation systems in digital music streaming platforms on the decision-making processes of students at Sampoerna University. Utilizing a socio-technical framework, the research examined the tension between algorithmic efficiency and user exploration. Data were collected via a quantitative survey of 41 students, which revealed that while platforms like Spotify (80.5%) and YouTube Music (51.2%) were dominant, users experienced a distinct "algorithmic paradox." Although the most frequent rating for recommendation accuracy was an 8 out of 10 (reported by 41.5% of respondents), a significant 68.3% of students reported experiencing algorithmic boredom due to repetitive suggestions. These findings suggested that current systems, while effective at reducing cognitive load through features like auto-play (68.3%) and personalized playlists (53.7%), often trapped users in "filter bubbles" or "taste tautologies." The study concluded that the next generation of music Information System must evolve beyond simple predictive accuracy to incorporate context-aware diversity and serendipity, thereby balancing the efficiency of automation with the human need for discovery and autonomy.

Abstract

Currently, the Universitas Pelita Harapan Alumni Association (IKA UPH) faces data integration challenges dueto the absence of a centralized system. This study aims to design and develop an integrated alumni informationsystem using artificial intelligence (AI) technology in a higher education institution. The system developmentprocess utilizes the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, leveraging the Laravel framework,MySQL database, and the integration of the Google Gemini 2.0 Flash API to support an AI chatbot feature. Thisinformation system features several core functionalities, including a job vacancy portal, event management,membership tracking, news updates, and an AI-based virtual assistant. To ensure system validity, testing wasconducted using the black-box method, the results of which indicate that all functional requirements for varioususer roles have been successfully met. Through the implementation of this platform, it is expected that alumnidata governance will become more structured, synergy and collaboration among alumni will enhance, andaccess to professional career opportunities will be wider for all community members.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and the growing public interest in cryptoassets, particularly Bitcoin, have led to a growing need for supporting equipment such asmining rigs and related components. CV. Ekonomi Teknologi Abadi (ETA) Mining, amining equipment provider, faces challenges in managing inventory, which is still donemanually using records and spreadsheets. This method creates various obstacles, suchas inconsistencies in stock data, delaysin stock availability information, and difficulties inpreparing inventory reports. These problems have the potential to cause financial lossesgiven the relatively high value of the goods.The system development method used is theWeb Development Life Cycle (WDLC), which includes planning, analysis, design anddevelopment, testing, implementation, and maintenance. The results of this researchareaweb-basedinventoryinformationsystem capableofmanagingstock data,incomingandoutgoinggoodstransactions, andgeneratingdaily,monthly, andannualinventoryreports. Thedeveloped system is expected to improve work efficiency, minimize recording errors, andsupport more accurate decision-making at the Abadi Technology Economy (ETA) MiningStore.

Abstract

Modern high-performance computing (HPC) demands face the Memory Wall, wherememory layout efficiency is now more crucial in determining performance than the numberof processor cores. Nested dynamic array structures inherently induce pointer chasing,which breaks hardware-level data locality. This paper presents an architectural comparativestudy between the concurrency models of Go (M:N scheduling) and Rust (1:1 kernelthreads) through the evaluation of intensive matrix computations on the order of 500x500to 2000x2000. Experiments contrast conventional nested memory structures against a flatlinear layout (1D Contiguous Memory Layout). Empirical results from isolated tests showthat Go's native implementation dominates in efficiency at medium scales due to its lowGoroutine initiation overhead. However, in Rust, nested structures induce exponentiallatency spikes due to high cache miss metrics. Memory flattening in Rust has been shownjournals.upi-yai.ac.id/index.php/TEKINFO/issue/archiveP-ISSN: 1411-3635E-ISSN: 2962-5645TEKINFO VOL. 27, NO. 2, Oktober 2026 1to eliminate pointer chasing, reduce computational latency by up to 32.3% at the highestorder, and trigger the activation of automatic vectorization (SIMD) instructions by theLLVM compiler. In contrast, manual application of linear index transformations in Goactually creates a massive performance degradation of 79% due to the accumulatedarithmetic calculation load that the runtime fails to optimize. This research demonstratesthat there is no absolute language superiority; architecture selection should be based on thealignment of Data-Oriented Design with compiler capabilities, providing concreterecommendation parameters for designing industrial-scale software systems.

Abstract

color of the fruit's skin. This method often produces different assessment results dueto the influence of subjective human factors. This research aims to create a system thatcan recognize banana ripeness using digital images using a convolutional neuralnetwork (CNN) method. Data were collected by photographing bananas using a mobilephone camera, and the bananas were categorized into four categories: unripe, ripe,overripe, and rotten. The research process consisted of several steps: data collection,data labeling, image processing by resizing the images to 224x224 pixels, normalizingpixel values, converting the color format to RGB, data augmentation, training the CNNmodel, and evaluating model performance. The CNN architecture used consisted ofthree convolutional layers, three max-pooling layers, a flatten layer, a dropout layer, anda dense layer. Tests demonstrated the model's ability to classify banana ripeness with up to 96% accuracy. Good precision, recall, and F1-score values indicate the CNNmethod's success in recognizing banana ripeness from digital images.

Abstract

Rapid information technology growth prompts the integration of information systems for managingstudent grades as a basis for learning evaluation. Currently, SDN 13 Pagi Duren Sawit manages thesegrades manually, separating the odd and even semesters, which hinders teachers from performingsystematic analysis and comparisons. This study designs an analytical system using Extract, Transform,Load (ETL) and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) to integrate and structure student grademanagement. Utilizing an applied research method with the Waterfall SDLC approach, the ETL processensures data consistency, while OLAP enables multidimensional analysis by student, subject, andsemester. The web-based system was verified through Black Box Testing and evaluated using the SystemUsability Scale (SUS)

Abstract

The development of digital technology has significantly influenced various sectors,including education. One form of technology utilization in education is the implementationof educational games as interactive learning media. Educational games can improvelearning motivation by combining entertainment and educational elements into a singleplatform. Salafiyah Syafiiyah Sukorejo Islamic Boarding School has various regulationsthat must be understood by students. However, the delivery of these regulations is stillmostly conducted through conventional methods, making it less attractive for today'sdigital generation. This study aims to design and develop a Unity 3D-based educational game called SantriQuest as an interactive learning medium for students. The research method used is Researchand Development (R&D), while the system development method adopts Rapid ApplicationDevelopment (RAD). The game was developed using Unity Engine and C# programminglanguage. In this game, players act as students who must overcome obstacles, avoidhazards, and answer educational quizzes related to Islamic jurisprudence and science toreach the Freedom Finish as the final objective.The results show that the game has been successfully implemented with features such asLoading Screen, Main Menu, Select Quiz, Select Hero, Hero Controller, hero characters,monster characters, and quiz-based educational gameplay. Based on Black Box Testing, allmajor features function according to system requirements. Santri Quest is expected tobecome an attractive learning medium that enhances students’ understanding ofeducational materials and boarding school regulations

Abstract

The selection of a study program is a strategic step for prospective new students, as itinfluences long-term academic success and career outcomes. However, many prospectivestudents find it difficult to choose a study program that aligns with their interests andabilities, which can reduce their motivation to learn and increase the likelihood of droppingout. This study aims to develop a web-based decision support system capable of providingobjective study program recommendations using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW)approach at Ibrahimy University Sukorejo Situbondo. The SAW method was chosenbecause it is simple, efficient, and capable of ranking alternatives based on predeterminedcriteria weights. The criteria used include Academic Potential Test (TPA) with a weight of20%, General Knowledge Test (TPU) 20%, Arabic Language 10%, English Language10%, Study Program Competency Test 30%, and Psychology Test 10%. The systemdevelopment follows the waterfall model, including the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation using PHP and MySQL, testing, and maintenance. Theresults show that the developed system is able to perform matrix normalization, calculatethe preference score (Vi) for each study program alternative, and generate accurate andefficient recommendation rankings. This system makes it easier for prospective newstudents to choose a study program that matches their potential, while also assistingIbrahimy University in carrying out a more structured, transparent, and measurableselection process.
