Abstract

Introduction: One of the traditional games played by two or more children is engklek. The crank game integrates students' motoric and cognitive components; when motor perception is weak, cognitive function becomes less than optimal and optimal. When children play a game, their cognitive abilities in understanding rules, procedures, strategies, tactics and decision making increase. Objective: to determine the effectiveness of the traditional engklek game on children's motoric and cognitive development at SD Negeri 1 Sukajadi, Sadananya District, Ciamis Regency. Method: As an effort to find out the effectiveness of the crank game as an effort to improve motor and cognitive development in SD Negeri 1 Sukajadi students with a total of 6 respondents focused on grade 2 students using observational research methods using the crank game media. This service activity was carried out on May 8 2023 and used a banner with a picture of a crank game box and several broken tiles. Result: there is an increase in children's motor skills and cognitive abilities in the pretest and post-test assessments of the hopscotch game treatment. Before the game was carried out there were still children with motor development who began to develop and after the treatment the children's development entered the criteria for very good development and developed according to expectations. Conclusion: Conclusion: The implementation of community service activities went well according to what was desired and planned. This community service has a positive value for students at SD Negeri 1. This can be seen from the enthusiasm and activeness of the audience or participants in carrying out the crank game activity and the results of the observations made have a good value on the children's motor and cognitive abilities.

Abstract

Abstract Introduction: PHBS is very easy to say but is it easy to do if implemented? According to Diana 2013 PHBS is difficult to implement because it requires awareness and seriousness about the importance of maintaining health. PHBS is an effort to provide a learning experience that creates conditions for individuals, families and groups by opening lines of communication, providing information and conducting useful education to increase knowledge and attitudes regarding clean and healthy living behavior through approaches, atmosphere building and community empowerment. Health education is very important for children, especially school-age children because at that age children will learn directly from their school environment. Therefore, it is important for school children to know about clean and healthy living behaviors about consuming healthy snacks. Through snakes and ladders games, children are able to develop their motor skills, are able to know themselves, work together with friends, are able to recognize emotions and are more disciplined. Meanwhile, through healthy snacks, children's knowledge increases about healthy and unhealthy snacks, is able to save money not to snack on healthy snacks. not good, children will be more careful in snacking at school and children will focus more on bringing the provisions given by their parentsObjective : The purpose of this health education activity is to increase children’s knowledge about healthy and nutritioous snacks and to make efforts to reduce the poor nutritional status of healthy and unhealthy snacks in Karangpaningal Village, Bojongnangka Hamlet, Panawangan Ciamis. Method: Health education methodology that includes self-health. Participants in this consultation are expected to be able to implement a comprehensive strategy, especially in creating new behaviors, especially PHBS, in the school and community environment. Result: From the results of the study it can be concluded that before delivering the health consultation material as many as 2 people (0.3%) were able to answer questions before the material was delivered, 3 people (0.5%) did not know. Participants did not know about healthy snacks, 1 person (0.2%) participants did not know, participants did not know about healthy snacks. After health counseling, the knowledge of PHBS healthy snack participants increased 100% to 6 people. Conclusion: Expanding knowledge about healthy snacking is a great start for teaching clean and healthy living habits in everyday life. After knowing the characteristics of unhealthy snacks and the dangers of unhealthy snacks, it is hoped that children will stop buying unhealthy snacks.

Abstract

The development of creative potential peaks at an early age so that early childhood education plays an important role in developing children's creativity and skills, one of the educational game tools (APE) that can increase children's creativity is coloring.Objective: This community service is carried out with the aim of increasing creativity in early childhood through coloring activities and mixing basic colorsMethod: The method used is observational with an educational game tool (APE) coloring pictures with watercolors and creating new colors from mixing basic colors which was carried out on 12 respondents in Banjarharja Hamlet, Kertajaya Village, Lakbok District, Ciamis Regency.Results: Based on the Likert scale, timeliness came, duration and implementation pointed to a score of 20 out of 5 activity points, which means on time.Conclusion: The participants took part in the activities in an orderly, attractive and conducive manner, there was a change in the children after carrying out the core activities, namely the children looked happier and were able to know the new colors that were produced from the basic colors.

Abstract

Introduction: Weight gain in the time between two dialysis sessions, also known as interdialysis weight gain (IDWG), is one of the most frequent issues that patients with chronic renal disease who get hemodialysis experience. A too-high IDWG result might exacerbate the patient's symptoms by causing hypotension, cramping in the muscles, hypertension, dyspnea, nausea, and vomiting, among other things. Objective: This community service activity aims to increase patient and family independence by increasing fluid restrictions compliance. The goal is for families and patients to be equipped with the information and abilities necessary to avoid adding too much IDWG. The method used is conducting training for patients and families and creating educational media. 38 people, including accompanying family members and HD patients, attended the training. Pre-test questions are distributed at the start of training, and post-test questions are distributed after the session to assess the activities. The training consists of providing material and training on maintaining fluid balance, overcoming thirst, and calculating HD patients' fluid needs. Result: The training results obtained data on patient and family knowledge about the importance of fluid management in HD patients. The facilities and infrastructure used include leaflets about fluid management for HD patients. This community service project improves patient and family knowledge and skills, educational media, and community dissemination of the activities' outcomes. Conclusion: To increase hemodialysis patients' compliance with fluid restrictions, steps must be taken to empower patients and families.

Abstract

Introduction: Every year, the old population in Central Java has a similar profile to the rise in the country. NCDs are frequently to blame for premature death before age 70. Globally, cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death. According to a research of five participants, the average blood pressure was 125.4/80.9 mmHg, and the intermediate total cholesterol level was 168.9 mg/dl. Objective: Improve the health behavior of members of the hypertensive care group in the Eastern Purwokerto Mersi Kelurahan, especially by exercising intensively and consistently. Methods: Making pamphlets, providing tools and materials for cholesterol testing, and coordinating with the head of the hypertension care group are all part of this community service technique. At the end of the Public Health Service (PHS), the number of participants was 48. Results: Most PHS participants are women, 44 (91.7 %). 21 (43.7 %) have overweight to level 2 obesity. Seven (14.6 %) of the participants have previously had DM. Twenty-nine (60.4 %) suffer from hypertension. Of most PHS participants, 27 (56.3%) had a history of hypercholesterolemia, 36 (75.0%). There was an improvement in pre-normal cholesterol levels of practitioners by 36 (75.0%) to 28 (58.3%). Conclusion: This PHS activity has good active participation of the hypertension care group Mersi, Purwokerto members. There's been an improvement in the exercise participants' cholesterol levels.

Abstract

Introduction: Stimulation activities, early detection, early intervention, comprehensive and coordinated growth and development deviations in toddlers are carried out in the form of partnerships between families (parents, child caregivers and other family members), the community (cadres, community leaders, professional organizations, non-governmental organizations, and etc.) with professional staff (health, education and social), will improve the quality of early childhood growth and development and readiness to enter formal education. Objective: to increase parents' knowledge about stimulation, early intervention detection and growth and development in children so that they can have high awareness of controlling their children's growth and development through posyandu/puskesmas Method: Community Service Activities are carried out in the form of counseling about the importance of stimulation, early intervention detection and growth and development in children. Participants in Community Service Activities are all mothers who have babies in Rumpa village Result: From the results of the pre test analysis, most of the mothers did not know about the importance of stimulation, early intervention detection and growth and development, but after counseling, the post test results showed that almost all mothers understood the importance of stimulation, early intervention detection and growth and development in children. Conclusion: Outreach activities have been carried out on the importance of stimulation, early intervention detection and growth and development in children and this activity received a positive response from partners. It can be seen that during the counseling there was quite intensive communication interaction and increased knowledge and high awareness of controlling the growth and development of their children through posyandu /Public health center.

Abstract

Introduction: Diabetes melitus dan hipertensi merupakan penyakit degeneratif dimana penyakit yang disebabkan oleh penurunan fungsi organ tubuh. Diabetes dan hipertensi menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang penting dan menjadi salah satu dari empat penyakit tidak menular prioritas yang menjadi target tindak lanjut oleh para pemimpin dunia. Objective: Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah melakukan skrining awal penderita hipertensi dan diabetes melitus serta sebagai upaya peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat terkait deteksi dini penyakit hipertensi dan diabetes melitus. Method: Kegiatan PkM dilaksanakan di Pasar Cikoneng Ciamis metode yang digunakan PreTest, PostTest tentang pengetahuan diabetes mellitus dan hipertensi. Dan dilakukan pemeriksaan laboratorium yakni pemeriksaan kadar gula darah dan pemeriksaan tekanan darah Resul: Hasil dari Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pengetahuan kurang sebesar 80% pada saat pre test dan pada saat post test menjadi rata-rata 90% pengetahuan baik. Dan hasil pemeriksaan kadar gula darah dari 68 orang yang memiliki nilai diatas normal sebanyak 20 orang (29%) dan tekanan darah di atas nilai normal 31 orang (45,58%) Conclusion: Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan pasien tentang penyakit diabetes melitus dan hipertensi. Abstract

Introduction: Creating a program to establish a Disaster Safe Education Unit [Satuan Pendidikan Aman Bencana (SPAB)] is one of the initiatives the government is doing to prevent catastrophes and manage their effects in educational settings. Objective: The purpose of this community service project is to improve students' understanding of and proficiency in disaster preparedness. Method: The three types of activity approaches include planning, carrying out, and reviewing. 43 students participated in this activity, which involved a lecture and Q&A session. Result: It may be inferred from the activity's outcomes that educating students can help them become more knowledgeable about earthquake and flood disasters. The instructive exercise proceeded without any difficulties, and the participants engaged with great enthusiasm. Conclusion: In order to make sure that every student is aware of disaster readiness and can lower their risk of disaster, it is desired that the school would keep up its ongoing disaster preparedness education programs.

Abstract

Introduction: Stunting is a condition where the body is short due to insufficient nutritional intake or recurrent infections that occur in the golden periode. Stunting is influenced by several factors, on of which is the mothers knowledge about nutritions. One of the interventions to prevent stunting can be carried out through education and training to prevent stunting through locally sourced food such as using fish and moringa leaves, so that nutritional intake for toddlers can be adequate and can reduce the risk of stunting. Objective: Participants in this activity totaled 35 people Method: The methods used in this community service are lectures, discussions and demonstration of food processsing from local food ingreadients Result: Based on the results of the education and training, it is hoped that participants will have knowledge and skills to use local food ingredients to prevent Stunting Conclusion: Based on the community service activities that have been ccarried out, it can be concluced that this activity has been carried out according to plan and stages with 35 participants attending from the Baregbeg area. The participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the activity from start to finish. From this activity, posyandu cadres and mother of toddlers gained knowledge and skills regarding stunting prevention by making food preparations made from local fish and moringa leaves.
