Abstract

Various problems of small micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia, one of which is that they have not applied good business management and production aspects to the businesses they run. From the survey we conducted at the RUSLIANI cracker business in Jl Kuin Utara Alalak Banjarmasin, both the management and production aspects still do not apply good business management. One of the problems in the business management aspect is the marketing that they have been doing in the Rusliani crackers business, which only does local marketing (traditional methods) such as selling in front of her house or around her neighborhood. Mrs. Rusliani's sales and opinions continue to fall, especially in the last 2 years during the Covid-19 pandemic where sales turnover is only around IDR 750,000 - IDR 900,000 per month. In the production aspect of this Kerupuk-RUSLIANI business, from the past it has only produced haruan crackers, not yet diversified products and very traditional cracker packing. The target of this service is that with literacy about good management and production in the business, it is hoped that the Kerupuk-RUSLIANI business with e-marketing such as Instagram, whatsupp business etc. and adding product variants (diversification) to other processed cork fish such as shredded Haruan, haruan skin etc., now sales have increased and Mrs. Rusliani's income has increased to Rp 1,200,000- Rp 1,500,000 per month.

Abstract

Until now, the people in the locations under review have never received training in the skills of making, presenting, and packaging culinary products made from local wetlands. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and skills for making local culinary dishes from plants in their yard. The method used is assistance and demonstrations  for members of the PKK of the Purnasakti in Basirih Village, Banjarmasin City. After participating in this activity, the community have the skills to process culinary dishes made from home gardening. According to the results of the mentoring, the participants also mastered culinary creation, as seen from the demonstration results of each member's culinary creation.

Abstract

Usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah (UMKM) merupakan salah satu penggerak roda perekonomian masyarakat Indonesia. Pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia memukul hampir semua sector, tidak terkecuali UMKM kuliner seperti yang di alami oleh UMKM Haifa yang berada di Kampung Sayur  Kelurahan Landasasan Ulin Utara. Produk yang dijual berupa produk olahan seperti sosis, nuget, bakso dan lain-lain. UMKM Haifa terdiri dari petani sayur yang memiliki kebun yang cukup luas. Sayur segar yang mereka miliki belum dimanfaatkan sebagai produk andalan UMKM Haifa. Permasalahan UMKM Haifa adalah penurunan omzet dan belum memiliki keterampilan mendiversifikasi produk olahan sayur. Solusi yang ditawarkan kepada mitra adalah memberikan pelatihan diversifikasi produk olahan sayur keripik sayur. Metode yang diterapkan yaitu penyuluhan, pelatihan produksi dan evaluasi.Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan dengan lancer, mitra telah meningkat pengetahuannya dalam melakukan diversifikasi olahan sayur yaitu aneka keripik sayur seperti keripik bayam, keripik sawi, keripik pare dan keripik kemangi. Pelatihan Teknik pengemasan dan pelatihan berjalan lancar dan dapat dikuasi mitra. Mitra juga telah mendapatkan pengetahuan manajemen usaha sederhana.

Abstract

The neighborhood benefits greatly from the nursery program. The established program seeks to educate the general public about the construction and use of seedling houses. The seed bank offers the community assistance in preparing the vegetable seeds that are required by the community. implementation of the service program starting on July 12, 2022, for one month. Through observational methods, interviews, demonstrations, empowerment activities (counseling, training, mentoring, and building seedling houses), and assessment, data were gathered. The population of Lembang Sa'dan Ulusalu, Sa'dan District, and North Toraja Regency is the program's target audience. The extension of the seedling house program and nursery techniques to the community constitutes the first stage of empowerment activities. The second stage involves instruction and support in the production of growth regulators and organic fertilizers; the third involves the building of seed houses; and the fourth involves nursery support. The community is very passionate and supportive of this activity, as indicated by the improvement in community knowledge and abilities. They are also getting ready to start nursery activities regularly again.Keywords: Mentoring; nursery program; knowledge; abilities

Abstract

Abstract Stunting in pregnant women is a public health problem. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the prevalence of stunting worldwide in 2020 is 22.0% or 149.2 million globally. According to WHO data in 2020, the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia is very high at 31.8%, and it ranks 5th in the country with the highest stunting rate. Based on data from the Banjarmasin City Health Centre in 2020, the prevalence of stunting in Banjarmasin City is 5.8% of 14 districts. Alalak Selatan Health Center is a health centre in Banjarmasin City with a stunting prevalence of 33.29%. This figure is above the average for the National, South Kalimantan Province and Banjarmasin City. It is among the five biggest stunting rates out of 26 Community Health Centers in Banjarmasin City. Reducing stunting is still a priority for South Kalimantan to achieve the target of 14% in 2024. The purpose of this service activity is to increase the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women toward good cooking and take to nutritional intake during pregnancy and to increase the effectiveness of public health programs in preventing stunting in pregnant women through the use of counselling with the media cooking demonstrations as an educational method at the Alalak Selatan Health Center. The method of carrying out the evaluation was through pretest and Posttest questionnaires on 35 pregnant women. The pretest was carried out before the Pregnant Women's class and the Cooking Demonstration at PKM Alalak Selatan, and the Posttest was as follows. The indicators of the success of this activity have been well achieved. All participants who are indicators of success have participated in socialization activities. The results of the pretest and Posttest are 80% already in the good category. Keywords: Stunting, Cooking Demonstration, Pregnant Women, Socialization Abstrak Stunting pada ibu hamil merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat. Menurut  World Health Organization (WHO) prevalensi stunting di seluruhdunia pada tahun 2020 sebesar 22,0% atau 149,2 juta secara global. Menurut data WHO pada tahun 2020, prevalensi stunting di Indonesia sangattinggi yaitu sebesar 31,8% dan menempati urutan ke-5 negara dengan angka  stunting tertinggi. Berdasarkan data dari Dinas Kesehatan KotaBanjarmasin tahun 2020, prevalensi stunting di Kota Banjarmasin sebesar 5,8% dari 14 kabupaten. Puskesmas Alalak Selatan adalah Puskesmasyang ada di Kota Banjarmasin dengan prevalensi stunting 33,29%. Angka tersebut di atas rata-rata Nasional, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan danKota Banjarmasin serta termasuk 5 terbesar angka stunting dari 26 Puskesmas di Kota Banjarmasin. Penurunan stunting masih menjadi prioritas Kalsel untuk mencapai target 14% di 2024.Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan  sikap ibu hamil dalammemasak dan memperhatikan asupan gizi selama kehamilan serta meningkatkan efektivitas program kesehatan masyarakat dalam mencegahstunting ibu hamil melalui pemanfaatan penyuluhan dengan media demo masak sebagai metode edukasi di Puskesmas Alalak Selatan. Metode pelaksanaan evaluasi melalui kuisoner pretest dan posttest pada 35 org ibu hamil. Pretest di laksanakan sebelum dilakukan kelas Ibu Hamil dan Demo Masak di PKM Alalak Selatan dan Posttest sesudahnya. Indikator keberhasilan kegiatan ini sudah tercapai dengan baik. Semua peserta yang menjadi indikator keberhasilan sudah mengikuti kegiatan sosialisasi. Hasil pre-test dan post-test yaitu 80% sudah dalam kategori baik.Kata kunci: Stunting, Demo Masak, Ibu Hamil, Sosialisasi

Abstract

Banjarmasin KAKIKOTA Foundation is one of the NGOs based in South Kalimantan that works on urban issues in Banjarmasin City. Banjarmasin KAKIKOTA Foundation has conducted several social stuides on phenomena in Banjarmasin City through several surveys. However, due to the lack of knowledge about data processing, the researchers of the Banjarmasin KAKIKOTA Foundation experienced difficulties in analyzing survey results data. Therefore, Program Studi Statistika, FMIPA, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) provides assistance in the form of statistical training to researcher of the Banjarmasin KAKIKOTA Foundation in order to improve the researcher’s competency and technical skills  in analyzing research data. The method used in this community service was training. The training was divided into three subthemes, namely: 1) Data preprocessing, 2) Categorical data analysis, and 3) Thematic map making. Abstract

Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit di Desa Keladan sebagai pelaksanaan kewajiban UU masyarakat setempat terlibat dalam kerangka plasma, namun masyarakat ternyata tidak menerima haknya pada saat perkebunan sawit telah menunai panen. Hak masyarakat atas hasil panen sesuai dengan ketentuan program plasma masih terlalu mahal dinikmati oleh masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

The main objective of community service (PKM) is to empower the community and assist them in solving their problems. A situation analysis of the Caraka Jaya Village farmer groups conducted by the PKM Team of the Civil Engineering Study Program at Lambung Mangkurat University concluded that they need to be assisted in doing something new. The farming community complained about the reduced fertility of their soil compared to before and the presence of new crop pests that were not there previously. They suspect continuously use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides causes this. In order to overcome the situation, other efforts are needed, such as using organic fertilizers and pesticides to reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers. To introduce and encourage them to use organic materials and fertilizers, the PKM Team collaborates with an expert partner of an organic fertilizer consultant to socialize and encourage them to start using organic fertilizers. The socialization was carried out in mid-June 2023 and was attended by more than 20 farmer group members. The socialization went well, and the participants looked enthusiastic, marked by questions about how to apply it and the benefits and weaknesses. At the end of the socialization, it was discovered that some farmers were willing to use the fertilizers and pesticides brought by the PKM Team to their vegetable gardens. At the end of the application, it is hoped that there will be an improvement in vegetable yields and a change in the direction of soil and plant fertility on an ongoing basis, even though it is slow.Keywords: organic fertilizer, empowering, vegetable land, farming groups

Abstract

Kementrian pendidikan dan kebudayaan mendorong kebijakan, agar program kegiatan masyarakat (PKM) mereferensi kegiatan penelitian. Atas kebijakan itu, penulis melakukan bimbingan teknis akademis kepada pemandu edukasi wisata (eduwisata) dengan mengelaborasi dan mereferensi ulasan saintifik, yang diperoleh rock art features “dua manusia”di situs Bukit Bangkai, desa Dukuhrejo, pada tahun 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022 dan 2023 ini. Adapun materi untuk bimteks bagi pemandu eduwisata adalah sebagai berikut; Satu dekade terakhir desa Dukuhrejo menjadi desa eduwisata lukisan cadas (rock art) yang berumur kisaran 5.000 tahun lalu. Dimana bimteks diperlukan untuk pemandu eduwisata berupa pengetahuan saintifik terkait rock art. Khusus rock art mirip “dua manusia” terdapat pada gua di posisi bawah. Simbol ini merupakan eksistensi manusia prasejarah waktu itu. Di sisi lain, terdapat penguburan manusia di gua bagian atas situs Buklit Liang Bangkai. Metode structural equation modelling (SEM) digunakan untuk mengetahui respon publik (masyarakat) milinial terkait tulisan ini. Berikut ini hasil evalusi pretest dan post test terhadap 47 responden milinial; sangat mengerti (17,68%), mengerti (66,28 % ), kurang mengerti (17,37 % ) dan tidak mengerti (0,0 %). Pemikiran tentang hubungan seni rock art mirip“manusia” dan penguburan manusia prasejarah dapat dimengerti dan hal-hal yang terhubung dengannya oleh milinial.Kata kunci: rock art “manusia”, desa Dukuhrejo

Abstract

TDR Catfish Farmer Sultan Adam Banjarmasin is a home industry (IRT) engaged in the business of catfish farming located on Jl. Sultan Adam No.17 RT.22, Surgi Mufti, North Banjarmasin. In the management of catfish farming, water quality is an important factor in the success of cultivation where poor water quality can cause fish to be more susceptible to disease. Apart from these needs, the TDR of Sultan Adam Catfish Farmers actually has problems in the process of monitoring pond water quality conditions which are currently carried out manually and periodically by breeders. This process is considered ineffective because it is difficult to determine water quality from the physical condition of the water which changes rapidly due to weather or fish feed residue. The solution offered to solve this problem is to develop a tool that can monitor temperature conditions and the acidity of catfish pond water automatically and in real time. This innovation was developed by utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT) through the use of the DS18B20 temperature sensor and SS15 pH sensor on the ESP32 WROOM-32D microcontroller. The results of system testing from fuzzy logic calculations at the output of the microcontroller and Matlab and the suitability of expert information in determining pool water quality obtained an average error value of 0.46%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the IoT-based water quality monitoring system in determining water quality is suitable for direct use.
