Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ understanding of multiplication concepts through the application of a concrete learning model. The research employed a Classroom Action Research design conducted in two cycles, involving 21 third-grade elementary school students. Data were collected through observation, tests, and interviews. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding of multiplication. The average test score increased from 60.2 in Cycle I to 82.5 in Cycle II. Additionally, the percentage of students achieving mastery learning improved from 52% to 90%, meeting the predetermined success criteria. Qualitatively, students showed increased engagement, participation, and confidence during the learning process. The use of concrete objects in the learning model helped students understand abstract mathematical concepts more effectively and created a more interactive and meaningful learning environment. Therefore, the concrete learning model is effective in improving students’ understanding of multiplication concepts and can be used as an alternative instructional model in elementary mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of educational supervision management in improving teacher performance in secondary schools. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis involving school principals, supervisors, and teachers. Findings reveal that systematic supervision—comprising planning, classroom observation, constructive feedback, and follow-up evaluation—significantly enhances teachers’ professional competence, instructional quality, classroom management, and continuous development. Despite challenges such as limited supervisory time, administrative workloads, and varying teacher readiness, effective supervision remains a strategic approach to sustainable school improvement. Strengthening collaboration among school leaders, supervisors, and teachers is essential for maximizing its effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of technology-based educational supervision management and its contribution to enhancing learning effectiveness in secondary schools. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach through a comprehensive review of relevant literature on educational supervision, digital technology integration, and instructional management. The findings indicate that technology-based supervision improves the efficiency of planning, monitoring, evaluation, and feedback processes. Digital platforms facilitate continuous communication between school leaders and teachers, enable real-time monitoring of instructional practices, and support data-driven decision-making for professional development. Furthermore, the integration of digital tools into supervision activities encourages teachers to adopt innovative teaching strategies, strengthens instructional quality, and promotes sustainable professional growth. The study concludes that technology-based educational supervision management plays a significant role in improving learning effectiveness by creating a more systematic, transparent, collaborative, and responsive supervision process. Successful implementation, however, depends on adequate technological infrastructure, digital competence among educators, and strong institutional support.

Abstract

This systematic literature review examines innovative educational supervision management practices and their contribution to enhancing teacher performance and learning quality. By synthesizing findings from recent peer-reviewed publications, the study highlights key innovative supervision approaches, including collaborative supervision, technology-assisted supervision, reflective feedback, and data-driven decision-making. The review reveals that these practices significantly improve teachers' professional competence, instructional effectiveness, and engagement in continuous professional development. Furthermore, these strategies foster stronger collaboration between school leaders and educators while encouraging the adoption of student-centered instructional models. However, successful implementation relies on supportive leadership, organizational commitment, teacher readiness for change, and sustained capacity-building programs. The study concludes that innovative educational supervision is a pivotal strategy for promoting sustainable educational quality, offering actionable insights for educational leaders and policymakers in designing adaptive supervision frameworks.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)-based e-comic for cultural diversity learning in grade IV and to determine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study employed the ADDIE research and development model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product integrated contextual learning activities with local cultural elements and was evaluated by media, language, and subject-matter experts. Practicality was examined through teacher responses and one-to-one and small-group trials, whereas effectiveness was assessed using pretest and posttest scores from 32 students. The expert validation yielded an average score of 96%, indicating that the product was highly valid. The practicality assessment reached 95%, indicating that the media was highly practical. Students’ mean score increased from 54.49 on the pretest to 82.52 on the posttest, with an N-gain of 0.62 in the moderate category. These findings indicate that the CTL-based e-comic is valid, practical, and effective for supporting meaningful cultural diversity learning in elementary school.
