Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought changes in various fields, including the business sector. These changes encourage many Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to shift from offline sales systems to digital marketplaces. This transition not only changes the way businesses sell their products but also affects the pattern of communication with consumers. This study aims to examine the adaptation process of business communication among MSMEs during the transition from offline to digital marketplaces, the changes in communication patterns, and the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that MSMEs have shifted their communication patterns from face-to-face interactions to digital communication through chat features, product descriptions, and customer reviews. Fast responses and communicative language also play an important role in building consumer trust. However, several obstacles are still encountered, such as low digital literacy and limited ability to manage digital communication. Therefore, the ability to adapt business communication becomes an important factor in improving the competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital era.

Abstract

The development of MSMEs in the health-based processed food sector, such as egg white products, continues to grow alongside the trend of healthy lifestyles. However, these products are often perceived as simple commodities lacking market differentiation. This study aims to analyze integrated business communication strategies implemented by egg white MSMEs to enhance consumer trust and product appeal. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews with 3 egg white MSME owners and 15 regular consumers, field observations of marketing channels, and structural documentation. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman framework, comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The conceptual and empirical findings indicate that an Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) strategy combining clear nutritional education, service excellence, operational transparency, and clean visual branding significantly shapes positive consumer perceptions. Transparent and honest communication reduces perceived risk and establishes consumer trust, while aesthetic packaging design acts as a primary stimulus driving emotional attachment and purchase intention.

Abstract

The 2026 outbreak of the Bundibugyo strain of Ebola virus disease in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda posed significant challenges to global health governance due to the limited availability of effective biomedical interventions. In such circumstances, communication became a strategic instrument for maintaining public trust and managing societal responses to the crisis. This study aims to analyze the rhetorical strategies employed by the World Health Organization (WHO) in its official media briefing on the Ebola Bundibugyo outbreak through the perspective of Aristotelian rhetoric. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and rhetorical criticism method, this research examines the transcript of WHO’s media briefing delivered on May 20, 2026. The data were analyzed based on Aristotle’s three rhetorical appeals: ethos, pathos, and logos. The findings reveal that WHO constructed ethos through international legal legitimacy and global institutional collaboration, utilized pathos to manage public anxiety and foster international solidarity, and employed logos by presenting epidemiological evidence and fact-based arguments to justify its response to the outbreak. The study demonstrates that rhetoric plays a crucial role in maintaining institutional legitimacy and strengthening public trust during global health emergencies. Furthermore, the findings confirm the continued relevance of Aristotelian rhetoric in understanding contemporary health crisis communication practices.

Abstract

Mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Socah 3 were relatively low, particularly in plane geometry topic. This research aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the Teams Games Tournamet (TGT) cooperative learning model. This classroom action research involved 24 fourth-grade students and was conducted in two cycles where each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data was collected using tests, observations, and documentation. The results of the study showed a consistent improvement in student learning outcomes. The average score increased from 48.54 in the pre-cycle stage with a completion percentage of 20.83%, to 62.58 with a completion rate of 54.17% in Cycle I, and then increased to 81.38 with a completion rate of 91.67% in Cycle II. These findings show that the TGT cooperative learning model can not only improve mathematics learning outcomes, but can also increase student engagement and participation during the learning process. Therefore, the TGT-type cooperative learning model can be considered an effective and contextual learning alternative to mathematics teaching in primary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the improvement in students' learning engagement in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) through the storytelling method supported by Papan Nusantara learning media. This research employed a classroom action research (CAR) design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart spiral model. It was conducted in two cycles, each comprising the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 25 third-grade students at SDN Kemayoran 2 Bangkalan, consisting of 15 boys and 10 girls. Data were collected through observation and documentation using a structured sheet covering five engagement indicators: student attention, oral participation, active involvement in storytelling, collaborative skills, and enthusiasm in using the media. Data were analyzed using a descriptive quantitative approach by calculating the percentage of indicator achievement in each cycle. The results showed a significant and progressive increase at each stage: 28.5% (very low) in the pre-cycle, 54.8% (moderate) in Cycle I, and 85.1% (very high) in Cycle II. These findings confirm that combining the storytelling method with culturally contextual Papan Nusantara media effectively fosters a participatory learning environment. Furthermore, this study demonstrates that narrative-based pedagogy integrated with locally contextualized media enhances active engagement, encouraging teachers to adopt this replicable strategy

Abstract

Low mathematics learning outcomes in angle measurement at Socah 3 elementary school result from dominant lecture methods and a lack of concrete media. This Classroom Action Research aims to improve grade V students' learning outcomes using a Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative model assisted by paper protractors. Initial observations revealed low student involvement and suboptimal conceptual understanding. The results showed significant improvements. In Cycle I, the average score was 78.25 with 14.29% classical completeness, failing due to unfamiliarity with STAD group work. After strengthening peer tutoring and group structures, Cycle II achieved an average of 89.29 and 85.71% completeness, meeting the success indicators. Using paper protractors successfully bridged abstract concepts to concrete understanding. This study highlights shifting teachers into collaborative facilitators and proves that simple, local material-based media impacts learning positively, especially in schools with limited facilities. Future research should test the STAD model broadly using pre-cycle test instruments.
