Abstract

This conceptual study examines the relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and consumer purchase intention, with trust as a mediating variable, within the context of Indonesia's sustainable cosmetics industry. The research explores how trust mediates the link between consumer perceptions of CSR and their decisions to purchase environmentally friendly cosmetic products. Drawing on an extensive literature review, the study proposes a conceptual model that outlines the relationships among CSR, trust, and purchase intention. This model is intended for future empirical testing using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The findings suggest that authentically and consistently implemented CSR practices can foster consumer trust, which in turn enhances purchase intention toward sustainable products. This study contributes to the literature on sustainable marketing and offers practical insights for local cosmetic companies in formulating business strategies grounded in sustainability principles.

Abstract

The vermiculture business is one of the MSME sectors that has high potential in exports, especially to meet the needs of the animal feed industry, organic agriculture, and cosmetic raw materials. This research aims to examine the factors that support and hinder the sustainability of exports of vermiculture products through a case study at CV RAJ Organic in Malang City. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques to business owners, observation, and documentation. The results showed that export success is influenced by product quality, partnerships with global market networks, and the adaptive capacity of business actors. However, there are structural barriers such as complex export bureaucracy, regulatory uncertainty, and lack of local government support. In the era of digital transformation, digitizing the export process is a strategic solution to reduce administrative barriers and accelerate global market access. Therefore, this study recommends the importance of establishing an integrated export service system at the regional level, improving mentoring, digitizing the export process, and socializing regulations to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of local potential-based MSME exports.

Abstract

Acetabular fractures, often caused by high-energy trauma, can be treated conservatively or surgically depending on the degree of displacement. For fractures with minimal displacement, non-surgical treatment may be effective. This report explores the outcomes of conservative management in a young adult with a minimally displaced acetabular fracture. In this case report, a 21-year-old female presented with severe pain in her left hip following a fall. Radiography and CT scans revealed a minimally displaced anterior column acetabular fracture, with no significant joint incongruence or associated injuries. Conservative treatment was chosen, including skin traction for one week followed by a non-weight-bearing protocol for six weeks, with gradual progression to partial weight-bearing. Physical therapy focused on restoring mobility and strength. After 12 weeks, the patient achieved full function without complications. Conservative management of minimally displaced acetabular fractures in young adults can be highly effective, providing full functional recovery without the need for surgery.
