This study examine the relationship between graduate employment and competencies and their alignment to SDGs 4: Quality Education, focusing  on academic relevance, job alignment, and employability skills. Using descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected from 91 graduates of Information Systems Study Program at Universitas Negeri Surabaya thourh tracer study system. The findings show that 71% of the graduates are employed and 7% are self-employed indicating strong adaptability to labor market needs. Most graduates work in relevant field such as System Developers and IT Consultants. Key strength include ethics, teamwork, and IT skills, while communication, english proficiency, and self development require improvement. The results highligt the importance of industry-responsive curricula and stronger university-industry collaboration to support sustainable education outcomes.

Abstract

Digital transformation has transformed the way organizations recruit, develop, evaluate, and retain talent. In this context, the human resource’s function is no longer positioned as an administrative unit but must become a strategic actor connecting technology, human capabilities, and organizational performance. Recent literature shows that digital HR transformation has evolved from the concept of e-HRM to digital HRM, then moved to a more strategic level in the form of a digital HR strategy, namely explicit integration between HR processes, data, and digital technologies to create value. At the same time, the literature also emphasizes that the success of HR digital transformation is not solely determined by technology adoption, but also by governance, management support, employee digital competency, a human-centric work experience, and the management of ethical risks such as algorithmic bias, data privacy, and decision transparency. This article critically reviews the key literature on human resources digital transformation strategies by highlighting conceptual evolution, drivers of change, strategies implementation, benefits, challenges, and future research agendas. The synthesis shows that an effective digital HR transformation strategy rests on at least eight pillars: alignment of business and HR strategies, re-digitization of HR processes, utilization of HR analytics and AI, digital capability building, human-centered work experience design, change management, data-ethics governance, and digital maturity measurement.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of education level, income, and consumer perception on tax coffee shop on consumer preferences in choosing coffee shop in Surabaya City. Primary data from 335 respondents were analyzed using binary logistic regression. The results showed that education level and income had no significant partial effect, while consumer perceptions of taxes did not coffee shop has a significant positive effect. This finding confirms that consumer acceptance of the tax component in the final price is more decisive in determining the choice coffee shop rather than demographic background. The implication is that businesses need to clarify pricing and tax information, while local governments need to strengthen consumer tax literacy.

Abstract

The rapid development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has transformed social, economic, and political interactions in Indonesia while increasing the risks of cybercrime. This study analyzes the legal politics in addressing cybercrime to support national security stability, focusing on regulations such as the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE) and the Personal Data Protection Law. A normative-descriptive method was employed through the review of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources. The findings indicate that despite existing regulations, their effectiveness remains limited due to human resource constraints, inter-agency coordination challenges, and rapidly evolving technology. Legal politics must be preventive, repressive, collaborative, and adaptive to build resilient national cyber security.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the BOSARA application policy in supporting the digitalization of goods and services procurement and the empowerment of MSMEs in Southeast Sulawesi Province. The research focuses on the organizational aspect as one of the key dimensions in public policy implementation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Research informants include the Goods/Services Procurement Bureau, the Cooperatives and MSMEs Office, and the application's technical management team. Data analysis is carried out interactively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results indicate that the implementation of the BOSARA policy has been quite effective, marked by a clear organizational structure, functional division of tasks, and formal regulatory support. However, challenges remain, including limited human resources, limited information technology infrastructure capacity, and suboptimal cross-sector collaboration. This research is novel in demonstrating that in implementing digital-based policies at the regional level, success is determined not only by bureaucratic structure, but also by technological readiness and the ability to build synergy between actors. These findings contribute to the development of studies on digital-based public policy implementation and serve as a practical reference for local governments in improving policy effectiveness.

Abstract

Indonesia’s plastic pollution crisis reflects global structural inequalities termed waste colonialism, the export of waste from the Global North to developing nations. This study critiques technocratic solutions (e.g., recycling) that overlook socio-political drivers and proposes an environmental justice framework. Through mixed-methods analysis integrating policy reviews, participatory interviews, and spatial mapping, the findings revealed that waste colonialism exacerbates coastal pollution in Java and Bali, driven by imports from the Global North. Effective interventions require community-led circular economy models rooted in local cooperation (gotong royong) and transnational accountability mechanisms to hold waste-exporting nations responsible. This study bridges contamination theory with geopolitical dynamics, highlighting the necessity of policy reforms to curb exploitative waste trade and empower marginalized communities. Environmental governance must prioritize cultural and social equity along with technological fixes to address systemic inequities. These insights underscore the urgency of reimagining global waste regimes through non-justice-centered frameworks.

Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to investigate the impact of green marketing strategies on consumers' purchase intention regarding sustainable household products, with environmental knowledge as a moderating variable. Data were derived from a sample of 122 respondents who are aware of eco-friendly products of MSMEs in Indonesia using an online survey within a quantitative approach. The study employed a purposive sampling technique, where only individuals meeting specific criteria were selected. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was utilized to evaluate the collected data. The results show that green marketing has positive impact on purchase intention and environmental knowledge positively moderates relationship between green marketing and purchase intention. The results provide valuable insights for sustainable household products to increase purchase intention through green marketing strategies. Furthermore, this study enriches the theoretical understanding of consumer purchase intention of the sustainable household products by offering green marketing strategies to sustain a competitive advantage within an increasingly saturated market.
