Abstract

This study examines the impact of Kartu Prakerja recipients and the minimum wage (UMP) on employment absorption in Indonesia during the demographic bonus era. Using panel data regression with the Random Effect Model, secondary data from BPS, the Ministry of Manpower, and the Ministry of Home Affairs were analyzed. The results indicate that Kartu Prakerja has a positive and significant effect, while UMP has a negative but insignificant effect. Additionally, the productive-age population negatively affects employment absorption. All variables have a significant simultaneous influence. It is recommended to expand the Kartu Prakerja program, balance UMP policies with labor productivity, and prioritize job creation to effectively absorb the productive-age workforce.

Abstract

Sustainability reporting has gained significant importance in the financial sector as it enhances transparency, accountability, and corporate social responsibility. In Indonesia, the implementation of Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK No. 51/POJK.03/2017) has mandated financial institutions to disclose sustainability-related information. However, the impact of these disclosures on firm value remains debatable. This study examines the relationship between sustainability report disclosure and firm value in six major Indonesian private banks from 2019 to 2023. Using Agency Theory and the Triple Bottom Line framework, this research assesses the effect of economic, environmental, and social disclosure on firm valuation. Employing panel data regression analysis, the findings reveal that social disclosures have a significant positive impact on firm value, while economic disclosures exhibit a weaker but positive effect. Meanwhile, environmental disclosures do not show a significant impact, suggesting that investors in Indonesia's banking sector may not yet fully integrate environmental concerns into their valuation models. This study provides insights for banking executives, regulators, and investors on the importance of sustainability transparency and its role in enhancing corporate value.

Abstract

The evolution of modern warfare, particularly in the Ukraine-Russia War, highlights the crucial role of Operations Security (OPSEC) in addressing vulnerabilities from the growing reliance on cyber technologies, portable devices, and social media. While these tools enhance efficiency and situational awareness, they also introduce risks through Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT). This study identifies key vulnerabilities in smartphones, commercial radios, platforms like Discord, social media apps like Strava, and drones like DJI. It emphasizes the need for OPSEC measures, including military-standard equipment, secure communication, and proper training. Examples from the Ukraine-Russia War, such as the use of modified drones for kamikaze missions and unencrypted communication, demonstrate the importance of robust risk management. Additionally, proprietary networks like NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS offer effective mitigation. This journal stresses that while modern technology is vital in Fifth Generation Warfare (5GW), its vulnerabilities must be managed through OPSEC frameworks to ensure security, maintain information superiority, and achieve mission success.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between food preparation and processing behaviors with FWB in households in Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City. This research employs a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consists of 110 households selected based on specific criteria. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire covering respondent characteristics, food preparation behavior, food processing behavior, and FWB. Data analysis was conducted using correlation tests. The results indicate that the majority of respondents exhibit poor food preparation behavior (68%) and food processing behavior (63.6%). Additionally, 63.6% of respondents also demonstrated poor FWB. Correlation tests revealed a significant positive relationship between food preparation behavior and FWB (p = 0.0001, r = 0.348) as well as between food processing behavior and FWB (p = 0.008, r = 0.252). This study concludes that better food preparation and processing behaviors are associated with lower levels of food waste in households. Therefore, education and interventions on household food management should be enhanced to reduce food waste and its negative environmental, economic, and social impacts.
