Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning process for Prakarya subjects at UPTD SMPN 4 Bantimurung. This study is a qualitative research with the type of research is simple descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted at UPTD SMPN 4 Bantimurung class VIII (A), (B), and (C) in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. Collecting data using observation guidelines, interview, and documentation. This research was conducted by self-determining the research subjects through the criteria. Data analysis methods consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results, it was found that Prakarya learning process at UPTD SMPN 4 Bantimurung was carried out using a questions and answer, practice learning model, learning took place with the teacher reflecting back on the previous meeting material, explaining or dictating learning material, learning practices and giving assignments directly. The form of evaluation is carried out by the teacher by giving assignments both in printed books and questions directly by the teacher, asking questions at the end of learning. Obstacles during the learning process that the lack of adequate tools and materials for implementing learning practices, the use of learning videos is the solution.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of clinical supervision by the principal to improve teacher performance and find out the driving and inhibiting factors. The approach to this research is the qualitative description. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data exposure, and conclusions. The results showed that (1) Clinical supervision planning is to compile a program design at the beginning of each semester through limited meetings with the supervision team, compile clinical supervision instruments, and carry out clinical supervision socialization. (2) The implementation of clinical supervision, namely pre-observation, conducts meetings with teachers to be given time to prepare. Observation by checking learning tools and the principal conducting direct observations when the teacher conducts learning in the classroom. Post-observation, including data analysis of observation results through detection of weaknesses and then a return meeting, is held between the supervision team and teachers. (3) clinical supervision evaluation is carried out at the end of the semester by involving all teachers to analyze the success of the clinical supervision program and then recap and use it as a report. Clinical supervision provides advice, direction, and guidance to teachers through in-house training activities and personal and teacher meetings. The driving factor is the teacher's awareness of clinical supervision so that the teacher can verify his own mistakes, while the inhibiting factor is the teacher the form of awkwardness. There is a sense of tension that will be supervised.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of school culture in shaping the character of students related to religion, nationalism, independence, mutual assistance, and integrity. This research approach is qualitative with a descriptive type of research. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of data using triangulation techniques. The results showed that: 1) Religious character, applied through routine and spontaneous habituation including dhuha prayer every Friday, reading prayers before and after learning, ablution practice, memorizing short surahs, and memorizing asmaul husna. 2) Nationalism character, applied through routine habituation including ceremonial exercises every Saturday, scouts every month. Then in class, namely memorizing the name of the hero, memorizing the youth oath, proclamation where this habituation is integrated into subjects based on the learning theme, and before entering the class doing a line of marching while memorizing student promises. 3) The character of Self-Reliance, applied through routine, spontaneous, and exemplary cleaning which includes cleaning outside and inside the classroom, reading, drawing, doing assignments or homework, lining up, preparing to start lessons, preparing shoes and storing on shoe racks. 4) The character of Gotong Royong, through routine, spontaneous, and exemplary habituation which includes service work every Friday, mutual help, and a scheduled class picket schedule every day. 5) Integrity character, applied through routine habituation and example, which includes obeying the rules that apply in schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of curriculum management in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri. This research approach is qualitative with a case study type of research. This research was conducted in MAN 2 Makassar City, the data sources in this study were curriculum wakamad, student wakamad, two teachers, and one student. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Data checking and validation using data trianggulation techniques. The results of the research obtained are 1) At the planning stage of implementing the learning curriculum, namely the 2013 curriculum and class X responding to the independent curriculum, also before the new school year, a working meeting was held which was divided into 5 commissions to discuss work programs. The subject teacher makes a lesson plan that has been approved by the principal before it is implemented. 2) At the implementation stage of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Makassar City has a club and extracurricular as a forum for students to learn. Teachers enter the MGPM organization by involving teachers to compile lesson plans, prepare facilities and infrastructure for the learning process, and arrange a comfortable and pleasant learning environment. 3) At the evaluation stage, it is carried out routinely and not routinely. Evaluation of the work program is carried out in accordance with the implementation of the program and when there is a discussion that will be discussed further, a meeting will be held. For student assessment, an assessment of students' daily lives is carried out, both daily tests, practices, midterm tests, end-of-semester tests and student personality scores which are then accumulated. After that, it will be discussed at the class upgrade determination meeting. The credit system is also applied, namely students can graduate quickly with a study period of 2 years and no later than 4 years.

Abstract

Abstract, In order to achieve national education goals, one of the steps taken by the government is to implement an independent curriculum in which there is a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. This paper seeks to explain the concept and technique of the teacher's role in carrying out projects to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students and to discuss further about the competencies that teachers need to have in order to realize the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students, especially teachers who work in elementary schools that have not yet implemented the independent curriculum. The method uses a qualitative approach. The implementation procedure carried out is to find the type of literature needed both written and unwritten then review and present it. The data collection method used in this paper is from a literature study design. From the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that the teacher's role in actualizing the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile is very vital, because in all activities from the beginning to the end of the project, the teacher plays an important role. Teachers must also involve students, so students can experience interactive and exploratory project activities. To support project implementation, teachers must have competencies that are reviewed from various perspectives. First, teacher competence in the context of policy, competence in teaching, competence to build students' strengths. For teachers who work in schools that have not yet implemented an independent curriculum and wish to implement an independent curriculum, they can use the 6 strategies provided by the government.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are very useful for solving problems and choosing the right decisions. One of the learning models that can be used to improve critical thinking skills is the problem-based learning model. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in critical thinking skills possessed by elementary school students using a problem-based learning model in fourth grade students at SDN 02 Mojorejo. This research is a classroom action research that is realized in two skiluses. Data collection was carried out by observation, documentation and tests. Data analysis was performed with descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that students' critical thinking skills can increase after the application of the problem-based learning model which is carried out during the second cycle.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is so that researchers are able to achieve a deep understanding of how to implement the Implementation of Character Education. This study uses qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniquesta donenamely Observation, Interview and Documentation with seven informants. The results showed that implements character education by Providing exemplary among school members such as the institution exemplifies good behavior. Involve all Stakeholders such as tutors involved in deliberations. Building and Complying with School Norms, Rules and Traditions such as providing order. Developing School Branding by providing adequate facilities and infrastructure. Developing Literacy Activities by providing reading programs.

Abstract

This study examines the role of school committees in high schools. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of school committees in high schools. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The sources of data in this study were school committee chairmen, principals, and teachers. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model. Data validity check using triangulation. The results showed that the role of the school committee in Senior High School is 1) As an advisory agency for fundraising programs and also provides policies for underprivileged students exempt from school committee payments; 2) As a supporting agency by collecting budget for additional salaries of honor teachers, honor administrative staff, and cleaning services as well as to facilitate extracurricular activities; 3) As the controlling agency evaluates the fundraising program for additional salaries of honor teachers, honor administrative staff, and cleaning services, the school committee also supervises budget managers; 4) As a mediator the school committee accommodates the aspirations, ideas and ideas submitted by parents for the progress of the school.

Abstract

This research aims to determine Management Public Relations in the Implementation of Online Learning During the COVID-19 Pandemic at SD Islam Al Bayyinah Makassar. Public relations management in this case is seen from planning, organizing, implementing, controlling and evaluating of public relations. The approach used is a qualitative with descriptive type of research. Data analysis in this study used the Miles and Huberman model. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results showed that public relations planning was carried out to determine public relations goals and strategies in carrying out online public relations based on the needs of the school public. In this case, the organizing stage is also carried out, where it is decided that homeroom teachers, subject teachers with the assistance of school administration staff are in charge of carrying out previously planned public relations activities, which include presentations of school activities carried out at the beginning of the semester, creating whatsapp groups for each class, monthly online meetings and the COVID-19 vaccination program in collaboration with Puskesmas Pampang. The media used in the implementation of public relations are cellphones and laptops, using online applications including zoom, school web, youtube, facebook, instagram and whatsapp. Control in the implementation of public relations is carried out by the head of SD Islam Al Bayyinah Makassar who directly monitors public relations activities and communicates online to the coordinator and homeroom teacher. evaluation of public relations activities is carried out online with the foundation, principal, teachers, and parents/guardians of students by presenting detailed information about online learning conducted by the school in one semester.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the managerial function of the principal starting from school planning in order to improve the quality of the school, especially in academic services. This research research approach is qualitative with a type of research description. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman model. Checking the validity of data using triangulation techniques. The results showed that: 1) School planning, especially in academic services, created an annual program based on the school's vision and mission to create a superior generation in noble piety, achievement and based on cultural values in accordance with religious teachings, 2) Managing national standards of education, having developed teaching materials, conducting creative, innovative learning, developing talent interests, and conducting IT training, 3) Supervision and Evaluation, monitoring, providing solutions directly and supervising, 4) Carrying out school leadership to build good communication with subordinates and involve in decision making and 5) Management information systems in order to achieve the teaching and learning process and educational goals by utilizing technological advances in order to support school information systems, so that the managerial functions of the principal have been realized in accordance with the RKAS. In the school, it's just that it still needs to be improved.
