Abstract

This research investigates the comparison of professional ethics between legal practice and medical practice and how practitioners in both fields face ethical dilemmas and resolve moral conflicts. Through comparative analysis, we clarify the similarities and differences in the ethical codes and moral principles governing the practice of law and medicine and their implementation in practical situations. We found that both professions have a focus on individual interests, integrity, and fairness, although there are differences in the emphasis and application of these values. Legal practitioners and physicians face complex ethical dilemmas daily, and they rely on the guidance of ethical codes, moral principles, and consultation with colleagues or ethics committees to resolve moral conflicts that arise. Continued research could deepen understanding of the factors that influence ethical decision making and develop more effective strategies for dealing with moral challenges in the workplace

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between cash ratio, debt to equity ratio, and profitability. This research combines quantitative techniques with an associative descriptive approach. Over a period of five years, samples of financial report data from eleven companies were collected using a census approach. The Chow and Hausman tests are used in selecting the panel data regression model. The data processing tool used is called E-Views 12. The selected model is used to confirm conventional wisdom. This research involves model selection, panel data regression analysis, coefficient of determination, and testing its significance using t and F tests. The results of the research show that the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Cash Ratio have a significant influence on profitability. It was determined that a random effects model was appropriate. The debt to equity ratio (DER) and cash ratio both have a positive effect on profitability, based on the findings of the significance test. However, the impact on profitability is slightly higher

This research was carried out in order to determine the effect of supervision and motivation on teacher performance at AR RAHMA Vocational School. The research method used is the Survey Method. The population in the study was 31 AR RAHMA Vocational School teachers, while the sampling technique used the Saturated Sampling method. Classical assumption tests, in addition to reliability and validity tests, are used to evaluate the instrument. Research data was tested using descriptive and associative frequency tests with coefficient of determination and multiple linear regression analysis. Supervision and motivation influence teacher performance, according to the research coefficient of determination of 45.5%. If the supervision (X1) and motivation (X2) variables have no value, then the Teacher Performance (Y) value is 0.316. The regression equation for supervision and motivation is 0.315 + (0.723) X1 + (0.483)X2, and the constant coefficient is 0.315. Coefficient β1 = 0.723, Coefficient β2 = 0.483

Abstract

This research analyzes the application of regulations in prosecuting cyber crime in identity theft on e-commerce platforms in Indonesia. This study uses normative juridical research methods. This research considers various relevant laws, such as the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE), the Criminal Code (KUHP), the Copyright Law, the Telecommunications Law, the Company Documents Law, and the Money Laundering Crime Law. Analysis shows that this law provides a strong legal basis for law enforcement to take action against cybercriminals and impose appropriate criminal sanctions. Apart from that, the law regulates electronic evidence, strengthening the investigation process against perpetrators. However, prosecuting cybercrime cases of identity theft on e-commerce platforms often experiences obstacles, especially in arresting suspects and confiscating evidence. This is due to the characteristics of digital crimes which are often complex and difficult to trace, as well as the lack of adequate capabilities and resources on the part of law enforcement in handling these types of cases. Greater efforts are needed to increase law enforcement capacity, as well as closer cooperation between authorities and e-commerce platform providers to increase the effectiveness of law enforcement in dealing with cybercrime
