Abstract

Emergencies in pregnancy need to be detected early to find out pregnant women who may experience complications in their pregnancy so that treatment can be done immediately. Knowledge of pregnant women about emergency signs of pregnancy can affect the attitudes and behavior of pregnant women about their pregnancy care. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of pregnant women about emergency signs of pregnancy and compliance in antenatal care examinations. In this study using a correlational design with a cross sectional approach. With a sample of 30 respondents with accidental sampling technique. Data was collected by filling out a closed questionnaire, the results of the questionnaire were tabulated and data analysis was carried out. The results of the Chi Square test of the relationship between knowledge of pregnant women about emergency signs of pregnancy and compliance with antenatal care examinations obtained p-value = 0.002 and p-value is less than 0.05 or 0.002 <0.05, it is concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge of pregnant women about signs signs of emergency pregnancy with antenatal care examination compliance. Thus, pregnant women who obediently perform antenatal care have good knowledge about emergency signs of pregnancy.

Abstract

An Individual Food Consumption Survey 2014 showed that average of fruit and vegetable consumption of children aged 5-12 years in Central Java Province was still low. On the other hand, fruit and vegetable consumption is important to prevent overweight and obesity. One of the factors influencing low fruit and vegetable consumption in children was the lack of nutritional knowledge. Therefore it was necessary to increase knowledge by engaging attractive health education such as through quarted card games. This study was aimed to assess the effect of quartet card game on primary school students knowledgeregarding fruit and vegetable. This quasy experimental study used One-Group with Pretest-Posttest Design, conducted at SDN 02 Bejen, Karanganyar, Central Java in August 2019. The respondent were 55 students grade V. The health education wasdelivered using the quartet card game. Knowledge at pre and post-test was measured using same questionnaire then analyzed using Wilcoxon test. Median of knowledge for pretest was 70 (53-86) while for posttest 73 (46-90). This increase was statistically significant (p=0,006). It can concluded that health education using quartet card game can increase knowledge of primary school student regarding fruit and vegetable.

Abstract

The Covid-19 vaccine in pregnant women provides protection to the fetus from serious diseases during the early period of life. Pregnant women refused the Covid-19 vaccination due to lack of knowledge, negative attitude towards vaccines, inexperience in vaccination, and worried about the side effects and safety of the vaccine. This study aims to determine the interest of pregnant women in the Covid-19 vaccine. A cross sectional study design with a sample of 46 pregnant women was used for this study. The sampling technique was accidental sampling and the research instrument was a questionnaire. There is a relationship between vaccine history and interest in Covid-19 vaccines in pregnant women with a p-value of 0.026. There is a relationship between vaccine information and interest in the Covid-19 vaccine with a p-value of 0.000. The importance of information on the safety and benefits of the Covid-19 vaccine needs to be clearly communicated to pregnant women so as to increase the interest of pregnant women to vaccinate against Covid-19.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is still a public health problem that is a challenge. Global Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, Tuberculosis remains the top 10 cause of death in the world and Tuberculosis deaths globally are estimated at 1.3 million patients.  Tuberculosis (TB) is still a health problem in the world, although control efforts with the Directly Observed Treatment Shortcourse (DOTS) strategy have been implemented in many countries since 1995.This type of research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional approach, this research was conducted in the work area of ​​the Pamenang Health Center in 2021. The population in this study was 35 people who were registered in the pulmonary TB registration book, and as a control of all neighbors with pulmonary TB as many as 35 people. The results of this study indicate that it is known from 70 houses that were observed to have good knowledge 47 (67.2%) sufficient knowledge 15 (21.4%) less 8 (11.4%), which have low economic status 64 (91.4%), high economic status 6 (8.6%) of the 70 houses were observed, 26 (37.1%) houses had inappropriate humidity and 44 (62.9%) houses had suitable humidity. There is no relationship between knowledge, economic status with the incidence of pulmonary TB and there is a relationship between humidity and the incidence of pulmonary TB in the work area of ​​the Pamenang Health Center in 2021. It is recommended that the Pamenang Health Center provide counseling to the community regarding the relationship between humidity and the incidence of pulmonary TB.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the occurrence of missfiles in terms of searching for medical record files where officers who borrow medical record documents do not write in the expedition book which causes obstacles in carrying out patient actions. The officer is not careful in preparing the medical record file where the document will be used but it is not on the proper shelf The study was to determine the flow of medical record file retrieval, to find out the flow of medical record file storage and the causes of missfiles in the medical record file filling room at St Elisabeth Hospital Batam City. This study uses a qualitative method. The data collection of this research was carried out by the researcher by means of interviews and observations. The population of this study consisted of four medical record officers and 1 nurse. Result: when the service is seen from the Man and Method factors, including the man factor, namely the level of education and work experience of officers. The method factor is that 100% of SOPs have not been implemented on returning and borrowing medical record files because there are still officers who do not know the correct application of SOPs. This is what causes the missfile in the filling room. Conclusion: The officers did not focus when filling out the medical record files due to the fatigue of the officers, the lack of thoroughness of the officers and the rush of the officers when they wanted to fill in the medical record files which could cause missfiles and where the return and loan SOPs did not work.

Abstract

Background: Based on data from the Public Health Office of Yogyakarta Special Province in 2014, the cause of Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Yogyakarta was 40 cases. There were 12 cases of maternal death, especially in Sleman, and the causes of maternal death were due to hemorrhage. In Regional Public Hospital of Prambanan, the data presented that during January 2015- December 2017 the cases     of hemorrhage were 71 patients. Methodes. The objective of this study was to determine the correlation between parity and the incidence of pasca bersalin hemorrhage in Regional Public Hospital of Prambanan. This study applied a case control analytic survey method with a retrospective time approach. The samples of the case group were 44 respondents, and the control group were 44 respondents in January 2015 - December 2017 with total sampling technique for the case group and purposive sampling for the control group. The instruments used were the observation sheets and the data analysis used Chi square Result: of Chi square test in the case group of maternal parity at risk of experiencing hemorrhage was as much as 32%, and in the control group of maternal parity who were not at risk of experiencing pasca bersalin hemorrhage was as much as 20%. The p value was 0.001, and the Odds Ratio value (OR) was 4.173. Conclusion : There was a correlation between parity and the incidence of hemorrhage. The high risk maternal parity is 4 times more at risk of experiencing the incidence of pasca bersalin hemorrhage than the maternal parity which is not at risk. Abstract

Obstructed labor significantly occur in developing countries including Indonesia, contributing to maternal and neonatal health. The burden of obstructed labor and adverse fetomaternal outcomes appears to remain high and is a common challenge. One of them is caused by delays in making decisions regarding referral approval due to lack of information about complications that occur in maternal and neonatal. Therefore, identification of the outcomes of obstructed labor that occurs in maternal and neonatal is very important with the aim of knowing the maternal and neonatal complications resulting from obstructed labor. The method used is a literature study using an online database, namely Pubmed and Google Scholar based on inclusion criteria. The results of this study obtained 13 articles showing maternal complications due to obstructed labor, namely uterine rupture, postpartum hemorrhage, anemia, shock, sepsis, blood transfusion, hysterectomy, bladder rupture and injury, fistula, perineal and cervical lacerations, pelvic floor sequelae, musculoskeletal disorders, genitourinary, postpartum depression and death while fetal complications were sepsis, asphyxia, respiratory distress, meconium aspiration syndrome, seizures, jaundice, stillbirth, perinatal and neonatal death. Prevention of obstructed labor is carried out through a multidisciplinary approach aimed in the short term to identify high-risk cases since pregnancy. In the long term, improving education and better health from health workers for mothers and families related to maternal and neonatal complications due to evidence-based obstructed labor so as not to hesitate in making decisions regarding approval of referral actions so that cases of obstructed labor can be handled on time and do not cause dangerous complications. for mother and baby.

Abstract

Self-confidence is a personality of confidence in one's own abilities in lectures so that it is not easily influenced by others. Self-confidence is one of the aspects that must be possessed by students in the lecture  process.The purpose of this study is to explore information related to how the level of confidence of STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan   Health Information Management students in biostatistics owned by students.In this study, there are two aspects of self-confidence that are measured ,namely confidence in  completing tasks, and confidence in learning.This research uses a quantitative approach  using correlation analysis. The population used is all students of the Level 1 Health Information Management Study Program,STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan with a total of  18 people.The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling.Student self-confidence data is collected through student self-confidence questionnaires.The results of the study on the level of student confidence in completing assignments obtained  there were  6 people (33.3%) who had high  self-confidence , there were 8 people (44.4%) who had a sense of enough confidence and there are 4 people (22.22%) who have less self-confidence. Students of  the Health Information Management Study  Program level 1 have a lack of  confidence because there are some students who lack  the intention to study and assumes that the material of the biostatistics course is very difficult to  understand. It is recommended  to students to be serious in learning and increase self-confidence to ask about things that are still not understood because the more questions there will be more and more questions the more knowledge we get.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic brings new challenges to the country. In particular, how countries are responding and working to contain and prevent the further spread of the virus. The Covid-19 vaccination is one solution in an effort to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19. The implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination that occurred in the elderly caused anxiety which certainly hampered the vaccination process. The purpose of this study was to find out the description of the elderly's anxiety about Covid-19 vaccination in the UPTD Tajuncu Health Center working area. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The method of collecting this case study is interviews, observations, and questionnaires. This case study was conducted on  June 2022 in the UPTD Tajuncu Health Center, Soppeng Regency. Based on the results of the case studies that have been carried out, 86 clientis experiencing moderate anxiety when he is going to carry out the Covid-19 vaccine, it is hoped that in the future the community will not feel anxious anymore to carry out the Covid-19 vaccine so that it can overcome the pandemic. It is hoped that the community will continue to apply health protocols, wash hands, wear masks, keep a distance, stay away from crowds and reduce mobility for the prevention of Covid-19.

Abstract

Menstrual pain is one of the most common gynecological problems, affecting more than 50% of women and causing the inability to perform daily activities for 1 to 3 days each month in about 10% of these women. Giving a warm compress is an independent action. The warm effect of the compress can cause vasodilation in the blood vessels which will increase blood flow to the tissue, the distribution of acids and nutrients to the cells is enlarged and removed from the repaired substances which can reduce the primary menstrual pain caused by the blood supply to the endometrium. less (Natali, 2013). This warm compress is very effective in reducing menstrual pain. Based on an initial survey conducted by researchers at the SMK N. Padang Bulan Medan at  school that there are still many students who experience dysmenorrhea during menstruation, and the researchers also conducted interviews with 10 students who felt dysmenorrhea during menstruation, the researcher asked if they had ever applied warm compresses, there were 5 people who had experienced it. do a warm compress. This study uses an analytical survey method with a Cross Sectional approach, the study was conducted at SMK N. Padang Bulan Medan, when this research will be conducted from February to July 2021, the population in this study is all female students of SMK N. Padang Bulan Medan class XI, the type of data used is primary data. , secondary and tertiary. While the data analysis used univariate and bivariate. The results showed that the majority of warm compresses did not apply warm compresses, namely 22 people (61.1%) in SMK N. Padang Bulan Medan students, Based on Dismonero the majority of  SMK N. Padang Bulan Medan students experienced (Yes) as many as 20 people (55.6%), There is a relationship between compresses warm with Dismonero on students ofPuteri SMK N.8 Padang Bulan Tahun 2022 in 2021 with pvalue = 0.000.
