Abstract

This research focuses on the application of Guided Discovery learning modelwith Audiovisual media.The purpose of this research were: (1) to describe studentsscience process skill using guided discovery learning model with audiovisual mediain teaching science physics in junior high school and (2) to assess the influence ofguided discovery learning model with audiovisual media to the student’s sciencephysic achievement in junior high school. This type of research is an experimentalresearch by post test only control group design that held in SMPN 1 Sumbersuko,Lumajang in the odd semester of the 2016/2017 academic year. The technique ofdata collection were observation, documentation, interview and test. The data wereanalyzed by using descriptif technique and independent sample t-test from SPSS 26.The findings of this research were: (1) students science process skills by usingguided discovery model along with audiovisual media in science-physics study isclassified in good criteria; (2) guided discovery learning model with audiovisualmedia significantly influences to the student’s science-physic achievement in juniorhigh school.Key words: guided discovery learning model, audiovisual media, science processskill, achievement.

Abstract

This research aimed to study the effect of GI-GI model on students scienceprocess skills and students multirepresentation ability of circular motion concept.This type of research was experimental research by post-test only control design.This research was conducted in SMAN 1 Jenggawah. Population in this study werestudents of class X at SMAN 1 Jenggawah of Academic Year 2016/2017. Sampleswere taken with cluster random sampling, X IPA 1 as an experiment class and X IPA2 a control class. The techniques of data collection were observation, interviews,documentation and testing. The technique of data analysis used independent samplet-test. The results of this analysis were obtained significance value of 0,000 forscience process skills of student and 0,000 for multiple representation ability ofstudent. It can be concluded that model of GI-GI give significantly effect on studentsscience process skills and students multirepresentation ability in learning circularmotion at SMAN 1 Jenggawah.Key words: circular motion, GI-GI model, multirepresentation ability, scienceprocess skills

Abstract

This research focuses on the application of Quantum Teaching learningmodel with Flash media. The purpose of this research were: (1) to examine thedifference of student achievement between student in Quantum Teaching learningmodel with Flash media class and students conventional learning model class; (2) todescribe of students learning activity using Quantum Teaching learning model withFlash media. The type of this research is an experimental research. This researchheld in SMAN 5 Jember using design post-test only control. The technique of datacollection in this research were observation, documentation, and test. Data analysistechniques was independent sample t-test from SPPS 16. Based on data analysis anddiscussion, the conclusion of this research were: (1) there was a significantdifferences of student achievement between student in Quantum Teaching learningmodel with Flash media class and students conventional learning model class;(2)students learning activity using Quantum Teaching learning model with Flash mediawas classified in very active criteria.Keywords: Students learning activity, Students achievement, Flash media,Quantum Teaching Learning model.

Abstract

This research was the development research to produce multimediainteractive modules based e-learning on the subject amount and units in senior highschool that aimed to: 1) validation of multimedia interactive modules, 2) theeffectiveness of learning, and 3) learning outcomes. The results of this researchwere: validation expert multimedia interactive modules based on e-learning reached3,95 with a valid enough category and validation user reached 4,38 with a validcategory; result of the effectiveness of learning as value of validation audiencereached 67,62 with valid category or can be used with small revision; and result oflearning outcomes reached 84,72 with high categories.Key words: module, multimedia interactive, e-learning

Abstract

The purpose of this research were: (1) describing the logical validity of mindmap product on the topic momentum, impuls, and collision, (2) describing studentlearning result in using of mind map product on the topic momentum, impuls, andcollision, (3) describing the student response after using of mind map product on thetopic momentum, impuls, and collision. The type of this research was developmentresearch in SMAN 2 Jember. Data collection methods used were documentation,observation, interview, and test. Data analysis techniques used were validationinstrument, drew mind map for student learning result, and percentage of studentresponses. The result of the research were: (1) the validity of product mind map bythe validators were 4,52 and quite valid, (2) the percentage of classical completenesswas 97,2% fall into the category of very good, (3) the students respons after learningwith mind map 82%. The conclusion by development mind map on the topicmomentum, impuls, and collision were the logical validity was valid, the studentlearning result was very good and the students respons gave positive category.Keyword: Mind Map, Student Learning Result, Momentum Impuls Collision.

Abstract

This research was the development research to produce science SWS(Students Work Sheet) based CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) that willimprove collaborative skills of students on the subject of elasticity and Hooke’s lawthat aims to: 1) validation SWS based CTL, 2) result of collaborative skills, 3) resultof learning activities. The research design was the design of 4-D model (define,design, develop, and destiminate) by Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel (1974)which modified into 3-D, 4-D model which is limited only at development stage. Thedestiminate stage is not implemented due to limited time and cost. The results of thisresearch were: validation SWS (Student Work Sheet) physics based on CTL(Contextual Teaching and Learning) reached 75,62%, with a valid category; resultof collaborative skills reached 84.93% with a very effective category; and result oflearning activities reached 91.18% so classified very practial.Keywords: SWS (Students Work Sheet), CTL, collaborative skills

Abstract

This experimental research related on the implementation of REACT (Relating,Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring) learning model with realphenomenon photo media in learning physic at SMA Negeri 1 Pakusari in2016/2017 academic year. The objectives of this research were to describe thestudent’s learning activities and to study the effect of the model to the physiclearning achievment. The design of this research was post test only control groupdesign. The technique of data collection on this research were test, observation,documentation and interview. The student’s learning activity data was collected byobservation sheet and analyzed descriptively. The learning achievment data wascollected by using post test and analyzed by using Independent Sample t test onSPSS 22. Finding of the research were (1)the average of student’s learning activityuusing REACT learning model with real phenomenon photo media was 89,4% whichmeans active; (2) the difference between experiment class and control class is doneby obtained significant value (2-tailed) of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. It means the result of thisresearch proved that the use of REACT learning model with real phenomenon photomedia significantly affected the cognitive learning outcomes at tenth grade SMANegeri 1 Pakusari.Keywords: REACT learning model, real phenomenon photo media, learningachievement , learning activities

Abstract

This research aimed to describe validation and effectiveness of interactivemultimedia and students’ response after the learning process was using interactivemultimedia accompanied drills on the subjects of pressure. This research includedresearch development to produce a product of media learning namely interactivemultimedia accompanied drills on the subjects of pressure in junior high schoolstudents. The development model used the Four-D (Define, Design, Develop, andDisseminate) model. The result of this research showed that assessments validator tointeractive multimedia was perfectly valid with the acquisition the percentage was88,65 %. In the developmental testing known that interactive multimedia was veryeffective used to improve students’ learning outcomes with the acquisition N-gain testwas 0,715 with was in the high category. In addition, the students’ response toward theinteractive multimedia had a positive and good response with the acquisition thepercentage of 87,95 %.Key word: interactive multimedia, drills, effectiveness, students’ response.

Abstract

This research aimed to study the effect of Generatif learning model onstudents result of study and students science process skills . This type of researchwas experimental research by one group pretest-posttest design. This research wasconducted in SMAN Tempeh. Population in this study were students of class XI atSMAN Tempeh 2016/2017. Samples were taken with cluster random sampling, XIIPA 4 as an sample class. The techniques of data collection were observation,interviews, documentation, portfolios, and testing. The technique of data analysisused independent sample t-test. The results of this analysis were obtainedsignificance value of 0,000 for students result of study and students science processskills is on very good criteria. It can be concluded that model of Generatif learninggive significantly effect on students result of study and students science processskills is on very good criteria in physics learning at SMAN Tempeh.Key words: Generatif learning model, students result of study, students science processskills

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) Assessing the influence model of ProblemBased Learning (PBL) with the task to learning outcomes of students with learningcommonly used in schools; (2) Assessing the influence model of Problem BasedLearning (PBL) with the task of the science process skills of students in physics inhigh school. This type of research is an experimental research. Research wasconducted in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. The populationin this study were all students of class X SMAN 1 Jenggawah. Where the researchwas determined by purposive sampling method area.Techniques and data collectioninstruments used in this study are: observation using observation sheet, in the formof portfolio assessment results Student Worksheet (LKS), tests using the deviceachievement test (post-test), interviews, and documentation.Based on data analysisand discussion, the conclusion of this research are : There is a difference in studentlearning and science process skills high school science class X students betweenclasses eksperimens the control classKeywords: multirepresentation, student worksheet, Problem Based Learningmodel.
