Abstract

The Indonesian economy is currently grappling with substantial challenges in the aftermath of the global pandemic, characterized by a pronounced economic slowdown and mounting international pressure. Intellectual capital, comprising employed capital, innovation capital, relational capital, human capital, and structural capital, constitutes one of the strategies that contributes to economic resilience and corporate sustainability. The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of employed capital, innovation capital, relational capital, human capital, and structural capital on company value. The present study employed a quantitative method. The data utilized in this study were secondary data, collected from annual reports of companies listed on the IDX ESG Leaders, with a total of 110 observations. The data analysis employed was multiple linear regression. The findings of the study suggest that employed capital, innovation capital, and relational capital exert a significant influence on company value. Conversely, human capital and structural capital have been demonstrated to exert no influence on company value.

Abstract

Increasingly complex business competition in the digital era demands that companies, including local MSMEs and startups, develop effective and adaptive competitive strategies. One of the most widely used approaches is Porter's Generic Strategies, which encompass differentiation, cost leadership, and focus strategies. However, the emerging problem is the suboptimal application of Porter's generic strategies in the context of local digital businesses in Indonesia, as well as the limited number of studies examining their suitability to current market dynamics. This study aims to analyze the relevance of Porter's Generic Strategies in facing the challenges of modern competition, particularly in the local digital business sector. The method used is a qualitative approach through library research, with data sources consisting of books, scientific journals, and case studies from local companies. The analytical techniques used are descriptive-critical and thematic analysis. The results show that Porter's Generic Strategies remain relevant as a basic framework for strategy development, but require adaptation to technological changes, digital consumer preferences, and rapid market dynamics. Case studies of startups and MSMEs demonstrate that a combination of strategies—such as technology-based cost leadership and service differentiation—can be an effective solution for building competitive advantage. This study is expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions for academics and business actors in developing appropriate strategies in the digital era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of brand experience and brand image on purchasing decisions of Baturaja cement products (a case study at TB. Ridho Jaya). This research employs a quantitative method with an associative-causal explanatory approach. The sample consists of 115 customers of TB. Ridho Jaya who purchased and used Baturaja cement products. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires using a Likert scale as the measurement instrument. Data analysis includes tests of data quality, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing. The results reveal that both brand experience and brand image have a positive and significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, on the purchasing decisions of Baturaja cement among TB. Ridho Jaya’s customers. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh brand experience dan brand image terhadap keputusan pembelian produk semen baturaja (studi kasus TB. Ridho Jaya). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan tingkat penjelasan asosiatif kausal. Adapun yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pelanggan dari TB.Ridho Jaya yang membeli dan menggunakan produk semen baturaja, dengan jumlah 115 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui distribusi kuesioner dengan skala Likert sebagai alat pengukur. Sedangkan Analisis data yang dilakukan meliputi uji kualitas data, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda, uji koefisien determinasi, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari variabel Brand Experience dan Brand Image baik secara parsial maupun simultan, terhadap keputusan pembelian produk semen baturaja pada pelanggan TB. Ridho Jaya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of internal communication on employee performance at the Traffic Unit of Polresta Samarinda. The main problem addressed is the lack of effective internal communication, which leads to miscommunication, task execution errors, and low employee morale. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 93 respondents out of a total population of 120 employees. Data were collected through questionnaires, and the validity and reliability were tested using SPSS version 27. The data analysis techniques used include simple linear regression, t-test, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that internal communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a regression coefficient value of 0.810 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.748 indicates that 74.8% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by internal communication, while the remaining 25.2% is influenced by other factors. These findings emphasize the importance of effective internal communication in improving employee performance, especially in work environments that require high levels of coordination, such as the police force. Therefore, improving the quality of internal communication can be a key strategy to enhance work effectiveness and productivity in the Traffic Unit of Polresta Samarinda.

Abstract

The problem in this study stems from the strategic challenges faced by large companies such as PT Mayora Indah Tbk in ensuring that the organizational structure is capable of effectively supporting strategy implementation. The complex organizational structure, involving many work units, often becomes a barrier to cross-division collaboration and swift decision-making. This study aims to investigate how the organizational structure at PT Mayora Indah Tbk supports the implementation of corporate strategy, as well as how internal organizational members perceive the effectiveness of the structure. The research method used is a qualitative approach with documentation techniques applied to 15 internal and external documents, such as annual reports, strategic plans, SOPs, and organizational charts. Data analysis was conducted using thematic content analysis, supported by the theoretical framework of Miles & Snow (2023). The results show that the semi-decentralized organizational structure implemented by PT Mayora Indah Tbk is able to combine operational flexibility with strategic control. The delegation of authority to key divisions such as marketing and product development enables a quick response to market dynamics without losing strategic direction from the center. Formal coordination systems through ERP and cross-division forums also strengthen the alignment between strategy and operations. Thus, the organizational structure at PT Mayora Indah Tbk has proven effective in bridging strategic vision with practical implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internal and external conditions of PT Pusat Gadai Indonesia using a SWOT analysis approach (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) as part of a Mid-Semester Examination assignment for the Strategic Management course. The analysis reveals that PT Pusat Gadai Indonesia possesses several strengths, including a strong reputation, fast pawn processes, competitive interest rates, as well as technological support and responsive customer service. However, the company also faces significant weaknesses such as lack of product innovation, limited market reach beyond Java, and suboptimal digitalization. Externally, the company has considerable opportunities due to increasing public demand for quick funding, the growth of MSMEs, and potential partnerships with fintech companies. External threats include intense competition from Pegadaian and fintech lenders, regulatory changes, and economic fluctuations. Based on the EFE Matrix, the company scores 2.65, indicating a fairly good ability to respond to external dynamics. The recommended SWOT strategies include developing a mobile application, enhancing digital promotion, forming fintech partnerships, and strengthening risk management. The findings suggest that PT Pusat Gadai Indonesia should prioritize digital transformation and market expansion to remain competitive in an increasingly dynamic industry landscape.

Abstract

The Governor's Office plays a strategic role as the central hub for coordination in regional decision-making and governance. Its core functions include public policy planning, oversight of government institutions, and the management of regional resources aimed at improving the quality of life and promoting sustainable local development. Employee performance within the Governor's Office is a key factor in the effective execution of these governmental duties.As such, attention to the productivity of civil servants (ASN) is essential, as productivity reflects how efficiently time, energy, and resources are used to achieve organizational goals (Sutrisno, 2023; Robbins & Judge, 2022).This study aims to examine the influence of work motivation and work ethic on employee productivity at the Leadership Administration Bureau of the East Kalimantan Provincial Governor's Office. A quantitative approach was applied using a survey method, with questionnaires distributed to 69 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression.The results show that both work motivation and work ethic have a positive and significant impact on employee productivity, both individually and jointly. Together, these two factors account for 25.2% of the variance in productivity. These findings suggest that motivation and work ethic are critical in enhancing employee performance. Therefore, continuous efforts are needed to foster motivation and build a strong work ethic in order to achieve more effective and professional organizational performance.

Abstract

Corruption not only hinders development and welfare, but also weakens public trust in an institution, whether government, private, or institutional. This study aims to conduct research related to criminal acts and prevention of corruption by implementing information systems in the campus world. This research is expected to help monitor the management of campus institutional funds. Research is also expected to be able to explain existing theories. This research can be used as a reference for further research. Adequate student knowledge and views and the use of information systems by students are expected to prevent criminal acts of corruption in the campus institutional environment. The approach used in this study is descriptive statistics which describes the research results in the form of discussions. The sampling technique in this study is non-probability sampling, the types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis method in this study uses smartpls - partial least square (PLS) analysis. The location or target of respondents in this study are several universities in the DKI Jakarta area. This research is a quantitative study with a descriptive design. With a survey method involving 50 respondents at various universities in DKI Jakarta. The results of this study show the influence of student knowledge and views on information systems in preventing criminal acts of corruption.

Abstract

  This study addresses the issue of whether inflation and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) influence the stock prices of banking sector companies in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of inflation and GDP, both partially and simultaneously, on the stock prices in this sector. The research uses secondary monthly data from the 2020–2024 period, obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The analytical method employed is multiple linear regression, supported by partial tests (t-test), simultaneous tests (F-test), and classical assumption tests to ensure the validity of the regression model. The findings indicate that inflation does not have a significant partial effect on banking stock prices, whereas GDP has a significant positive effect. However, when analyzed simultaneously, both inflation and GDP have a significant impact on stock price movements. These results align with the Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT) and fundamental analysis theory, which suggest that stock prices are influenced by a combination of macroeconomic factors. This study suggests that investors, market participants, and policymakers should consider economic growth indicators as a primary reference in making investment decisions in the banking sector.

Abstract

Low levels of product literacy among consumers often cause a mismatch between the specifications of the purchased mobile phone and their actual needs. This problem is common, especially in stores that provide a wide selection of products with technical information that is poorly understood by prospective buyers. Lack of understanding of features such as processor type, camera quality, RAM capacity, and internal memory makes the purchasing process less than optimal. This study aims to improve consumer literacy by developing a mobile phone purchase recommendation system based on the C4.5 algorithm. The method used is a data mining approach with stages of collecting historical consumer purchase data, preprocessing data to eliminate noise, labeling purchase decisions, forming a decision tree model using the C4.5 algorithm, and evaluating model performance using a confusion matrix. The dataset used includes 19 types of mobile phones from a local store with attributes such as processor, main camera, front camera, RAM, internal memory, and price. The method used in this study uses the C4.5 algorithm. The results of the study show that the C4.5 algorithm is able to classify data with satisfactory accuracy and produce a relevant recommendation system. In addition to providing product suggestions, this system also includes a logical explanation of each decision taken, thereby increasing consumer understanding. Thus, this system not only helps the decision-making process, but also acts as an educational medium in increasing consumer literacy regarding mobile phone product specifications that suit their needs and budget.
