Abstract

Instagram is one of the media that provides information through visual content that can increase or decrease tourists' interest in visiting a tourist attraction. Positive or negative statements through interesting photos, videos, and stories on Instagram will influence (Electronic Word of Mouth - EWOM) the interest and decision to visit of potential tourists. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) through Instagram and interest in visiting on tourists' decision to visit Pasir Panjang tourist destination, Kei Islands. The research method uses quantitative research. The research population is all tourists who visit Pasir Panjang tourist destination, with a research sample consisting of 40 tourists who obtain tourism information through Instagram social media accounts. Multiple linear regression and Path analysis are used as data analysis techniques. The results of the study show that Instagram EWOM directly has a significant effect on Interest in Visiting and Tourist Decisions to Visit Pasir Panjang Tourist Attraction. Tourist Interest directly influences the Decision to Visit and Tourist Interest is proven to be able to mediate Instagram EWOM on Tourist Decisions to Visit Pasir Panjang Tourist Attractions as shown by the high correlation coefficient and the Sobel test value which shows a significant mediation role with a P-Value or significance value obtained of 0.047 (<0.05) indicating that eWOM on Instagram plays an important role in shaping tourist perceptions and interests in deciding to visit a destination.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial interest in Generation Z students at Unisnu Jepara. The research method used is quantitative with data collection through an online questionnaire based on Google Form. The research sample consisted of 100 Generation Z student respondents selected by purposive sampling method. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through SmartPLS software version 4.0. The results showed that social media and self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. Social media contributed 31.3% to entrepreneurial interest, while self-efficacy contributed 29.6%. The findings suggest that social media and self-efficacy are important factors in driving entrepreneurial interest among Generation Z. This study provides theoretical contributions to the entrepreneurship literature. This study provides theoretical contributions to the entrepreneurship literature as well as practical recommendations for educational institutions, government, and industry players in developing social media and self-efficacy strengthening programs for aspiring young entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the global economy, including Indonesia. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as one of the backbones of the national economy face major challenges in maintaining business continuity. Digitalization is one of the strategies that can help MSMEs improve efficiency, productivity, and market access. QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) as a digital payment instrument can play an important role in supporting people's economic recovery after the pandemic. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the contribution of QRIS to the people's economic recovery. This study aims to analyze the impact of using QRIS on ease of transactions, security, and increased income for MSME players. The method used is mixed methods with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data is collected through literature studies to get a comprehensive picture of the experiences of MSME players before and after using QRIS, as well as quantitative data related to income generation. The results show that QRIS provides significant convenience in the transaction process and maintains a high level of transaction security. However, the increase in MSME income through the use of QRIS cannot be seen directly in the short term and requires time and other supporting factors. In conclusion, QRIS acts as an important innovation in supporting the digitalization of the MSME sector, especially in the aspects of transaction convenience and security, which has the potential to improve overall business performance

Abstract

Excellent service has become one of the key indicators in enhancing the competitiveness of hospitals in the contemporary era. This study aims to identify and analyze effective hospital management approaches to improve excellent service through a systematic literature review method. The research employed the PRISMA-based Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach by reviewing 10 accredited national journals published within the last five years. The results reveal five main strategies in hospital management approaches that effectively promote excellent service: (1) training and development of human resources, (2) implementation of quality management methods such as SERVQUAL, Donabedian, and QFD, (3) integration of service-oriented values and culture, (4) optimization of service performance evaluation systems, and (5) utilization of technology and innovative approaches. The findings suggest that the success of excellent service is determined not only by technical medical aspects but also by strategic management that is responsive to patient needs, the reinforcement of service culture values, and the adoption of digital innovation. The practical implications of this study highlight the importance for hospitals to manage change in a planned manner, enhance human resource competencies, and conduct continuous service evaluations to create a superior, adaptive, and patient-oriented service ecosystem.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the observed gap between the performance targets set by management and the actual achievements of several employees at PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP Mahakam. This discrepancy is suspected to be influenced by varying levels of work motivation among employees. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of work motivation on employee performance. A quantitative approach was applied using a survey method and simple linear regression analysis. The sample consisted of 50 active employees selected using a total sampling technique. The primary instrument used was a closed-ended questionnaire based on a four-point Likert scale. The validity and reliability tests confirmed that all questionnaire items were valid and reliable. The results of the regression analysis show that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) and a regression coefficient of 0.927. This implies that an increase in work motivation tends to be followed by an improvement in employee performance. These findings support Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory and Herzberg’s two-factor theory, which emphasize the importance of both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in enhancing job performance. Therefore, it is recommended that management strengthen motivational factors to sustainably improve employee productivity and effectiveness.

Abstract

The main issue faced by PT Rejeki Bukit Separi, a manpower provider in the mining sector, is the suboptimal performance of its employees, characterized by low work quality, delayed task completion, and reduced work effectiveness. This problem is suspected to be closely related to the level of employee competence, particularly in terms of technical understanding, operational skills, and professional attitude. This study aims to analyze and empirically examine the effect of competence on employee performance. A quantitative explanatory survey method was employed. The population consists of all operational employees at PT Rejeki Bukit Separi, totaling 66 respondents selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a closed-ended questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale, supported by observation and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and simple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results show that competence which includes knowledge, skills, and attitude has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The regression coefficient value is 0.973 with a significance level of 0.000 (< 0.05), and the coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.530, indicating that competence explains 53% of the variation in performance. These findings emphasize the importance of structured competency development programs to enhance productivity and ensure operational safety in the mining industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, cash flow management, and investment in securities on the financial stability of digital technology sector companies in Indonesia in the period 2021–2024. A quantitative approach with a panel data regression analysis technique is used as a method. A total of eight companies became the sample of the study. The companies were selected using a purposive sampling technique. According to the results of the study, the company's financial stability is very positively and significantly influenced by liquidity. Cash flow management and investment in securities, meanwhile, did not show any significant influence. Companies need to focus on efforts to strengthen liquidity to maintain financial stability based on the indications of these findings, especially amidst global economic uncertainty. This study is expected to be a reference for academics and company management in developing more effective financial strategies in the digital technology sector.

Abstract

The main problem in this study lies in the existence of an uncomfortable work environment, this is characterized by less harmonious relationships between employees, suboptimal internal communication, and inequality of interaction between civil servants and non-civil servants. In addition, problems arise in the aspect of work discipline, there is inconsistency in the application of work discipline rules, which creates the impression of injustice and has the potential to reduce the enthusiasm and responsibility of employees. This study aims to analyze and prove the effect of work environment and work discipline simultaneously on employee performance at the One-Stop Investment and Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) of East Kalimantan Province. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques, using the help of SPSS software version 27. The analysis used is validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that (1) work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and (3) work environment and work discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the One-Stop Investment and Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) of East Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

Bank BNI Selat Panjang branch as a banking service certainly has several obstacles in distributing financing products to the community, one of these financing products is the People's Business Credit (KUR). Some of these obstacles include access to capital for MSMEs, remapping of branch credit processes, changes in KUR distribution provisions and land problems in the Regency. Kep. Meranti - Selatpanjang. Bank BNI as one of the largest banks in Indonesia has an important role in helping MSMEs gain access to capital through its credit products. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out (1) to find out the competitive strategy of the Marketing Unit of PT. BNI in increasing the distribution of People's Business Credit for MSMEs at PT. BNI Selatpanjang Branch. (2) To find out the obstacles faced by the Marketing Unit of PT. BNI in creating a competitive strategy in marketing People's Business Credit Products for MSMEs at PT. BNI Selatpanjang Branch. The research method used is qualitative descriptive research with the type of field research where the research is conducted using the method of collecting data directly at the location where the research was conducted. The results of the study found that the strength of Bank BNI Selatpanjang branch is currently High (Criteria value 4) in the sense that Bank BNI Selatpanjang branch is able to compete with other competitors. In terms of opportunities, Bank BNI Selatpnjang has criteria 3 / moderate. So there needs to be a re-evaluation of the performance results that have been carried out in order to create better opportunities in the future. Total score of Strength (S) - total score of Opportunities (O) = 21.156- 34.2779 = -13.12 and calculation for W-O: Total score of Weakness (W) - total score of Opportunities (O) = 73.512 - 95.14802 = -21.63 Calculation for S-T: Total score of Strength (S) - total score of Treaths (T) = 21.156 - 95.14802 = -. 73.99 then, calculation for W-T, then Total score of Weakness (W) - total score of Treaths (T) = 73.512 - 95.14802 = -21.63. from these results it can be concluded that PT. Bank BNI Selatpanjang branch is currently carrying out a defense strategy that is being used in competing with other competitors to market KUR products for MSME

Abstract

In 2019, food and beverage sub-sector companies recorded significant economic growth of 7.72%. However, in 2020, there was a decline in growth in most companies in the sub-sector. This condition indicates that food and beverage sub-sector companies experienced fluctuating growth, namely positive growth in 2019 and a decline in 2020. Companies that are experiencing going concern or non-going concern are based on various factors, such as the size of the company, the size of the public accounting firm and financial distress. This study aims to determine the effect of company size, the size of the public accounting firm and financial distress on going concern audit opinions (an empirical study of food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2022). The population in this study were food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2022, consisting of 49 companies with an observation period of 4 years. This research method is quantitative and the method used for sampling in this study is purposive sampling. Based on the research results, the variables of company size and the size of the public accounting firm do not affect the going concern audit opinion. Then the financial distress variable has a positive effect on the going concern audit opinion.
