Abstract

Phenomenon/Issue: This study was motivated by the gap between the availability of the Surabaya Single Window (SSW) Alfa digital service and its use  by the community in Lidah Wetan Village. Purpose: This study aims to examine the process of information dissemination and the factors contributing to information gaps related to the SSW Alfa website. It also analyzes the level of community utilization of the platform for administrative services in Lidah Wetan Village and identifies managerial obstacles in optimizing the quality of public services through SSW Alfa. Novelty: The novelty of this study lies in its analysis of the implementation of SSW Alfa from a Total Quality Management (TQM) perspective at the sub-district level. Unlike previous studies that primarily focus on the outcomes of digital services, this research also examines implementation management, the socialization process, service utilization, and managerial constraints in optimizing service quality. Research Methods: This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with interview, observation, and documentation techniques, and is analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results: The results show that SSW Alfa has provided convenience and efficiency in licensing services. However, there are still obstacles in the form of uneven socialization, low digital literacy among some members of the community, and the need to simplify the menu display. From a TQM perspective, the implementation has reflected continuous improvement and total employee involvement as well as managerial efforts, although the focus on customers and obstacles still occur in optimizing socialization and strengthening digital literacy still needs to be improved. Research Contributions: This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the implementation of digital-based public services through the SSW Alfa website from a TQM-based quality management perspective. It also provides empirical insights into the importance of adaptive socialization strategies, improving public digital literacy, and strengthening the capacity of government officials to support the optimization of digital public services.

Abstract

Phenomenon/Issue: The rapid growth of generative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots in education has led to a significant increase in scientific publications in recent years. However, comprehensive bibliometric studies focusing on this topic remain limited. Purpose: This study aims to provide an in-depth analysis of Generative AI Chatbot research in education using a bibliometric approach. Novelty: This research fills the gap in existing literature by utilizing Garza-Reyes’s five-phase framework to provide a systematic and comprehensive visualization of the evolution of the field, specifically identifying emerging social-emotional themes. Research Methods: Data were collected from the Scopus database, resulting in 16,590 initial documents, which were refined to 230 relevant articles published between 2020 and 2025. Visualization and analysis were conducted using VOSviewer. Results: The results identify six major research clusters representing key themes. Dominant topics include artificial intelligence, chatbots, and education, while emerging topics such as empathy, trust, feedback, and interpersonal communication offer potential directions for future research. Additionally, co-authorship analysis reveals limited collaboration among authors. Research Contributions: Overall, this study provides a comprehensive overview of research trends and highlights strategic opportunities for further development and integration of Generative AI Chatbots in the learning environment.

Abstract

Phenomenon/Issues: As one of the most widely used modes of transportation, train services provided by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) have adapted to digitalization through the KAI Access application. Although the application offers various convenient services, several issues remain, particularly related to information quality and service quality, which may influence user loyalty among students as a dominant user segment. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the determinants of KAI Access application user loyalty from a student’s perspective using the DeLone and McLean (2003) Information System Success Model. Novelty: This research extends the Information System Success Model by integrating perceived value and intention to reuse as mediating variables in explaining user loyalty within the context of a railway digital service application, specifically focusing on student users. Research Method: This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey of 130 university students. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) technique to examine the relationships among constructs. Result: The findings indicate that information quality and service quality significantly influence perceived value and user satisfaction. Furthermore, perceived value and user satisfaction have a significant effect on intention to reuse, which ultimately reflects user loyalty toward the KAI Access application. Research Contributions: This study contributes theoretically by enriching the application of the Information System Success Model in the context of digital transportation services. Practically, the results provide strategic insights for improving application quality to enhance customer retention and long-term user loyalty.

Abstract

Phenomenon/Issue: The dynamics of the global business environment, marked digital disruption, market uncertainty, and intensified competition, demand a strategic leadership role in entrepreneurship. This is due to the fact that business failures often occur as a result of weak leadership capacity in managing innovation and growth. Purpose: This study comprehensively analyzes the role of various strategic leadership styles in driving innovation and business growth within the context of entrepreneurship through a systematic literature review approach. Novelty: This study presents a holistic conceptual integration by linking the evolution of leadership styles (transformational, transactional, authentic, servant, and responsible leadership) to entrepreneurial performance based on the triple bottom line (economic, social, and environmental). Research Methods: This study use a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on PRISMA and bibliometric analysis from the Scopus database (2017–2026), covering 112 articles in total. Of these, 15 selected articles were analyzed using VOSviewer to map research trends, collaborations, and conceptual structures. Results: Research findings indicate that strategic leadership is a key catalyst for innovation, organizational adaptability, and business growth. Adaptive and visionary leadership styles have been proven to enhance organizational performance and strengthen competitive advantages in dynamic environments. Research Contributions: This study makes a theoretical contribution by strengthening the multidisciplinary literature and a practical contribution by formulating effective leadership strategies for entrepreneurs to achieve sustainable growth. The study is dominated by the fields of business, management, and accounting (36.6%), followed by social sciences (34.1%), economics (26.8%), and decision sciences (2.4%), reflecting the multidisciplinary of this research

Abstract

Phenomenon/Issue: Issues surrounding transparency, efficiency, and professionalism within the recruitment of village officials remain a persistent national challenge, often obstructing the realization of good governance. Such complications typically stem from the absence of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and the underutilization of technology in selection processes, which frequently trigger social friction and public skepticism regarding the integrity of election outcomes. Purpose: This study aims to develop a comprehensive SOP and a digital-based selection instrument that incorporates Computer-Based Testing (CBT) into the recruitment framework. Novelty: The primary novelty of this research lies in the integration of Computer-Based Testing (CBT) within a comprehensive digital SOP framework, covering the entire spectrum from registration to the real-time announcement of results Research Methods: This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) design, adopting the systematic developmental phases established by Borg & Gall Results: This research culminates in three distinct outputs: (1) a digital-based SOP for village official selection, (2) a CBT-integrated selection instrument, and (3) Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) certification pertaining to the newly established SOP. Research Contributions: This research contributes to the enrichment of public management literature, particularly regarding digital innovation in the implementation of local governance selection processes.
