Abstract

Marble is a type of metamorphic rock, a transitional rock from limestone that changes due to changes in temperature and pressure from endogenous forces. Marble stones are found in caves or mountains in East Java, Aceh, Lampung, West Sumatra, West Java, Central Java, and South Sulawesi. Pangkep Regency in South Sulawesi is a highly productive area for the development of the marble industry. This city has many unique marble mining traditions that will inspire future action. Due to Law No.4/2009 concerning mineral and coal mining, which allows mining companies to process mining products domestically and ban the export of raw materials, only a few marble mines survive to produce marble. So, a center was used to accommodate the processing of marble mining products spread across Pangkep Regency so that they could be exported abroad and increase the selling value of these marble handicraft products. Sourced from several potentials and problems, it is necessary to design a building that becomes a landmark that reflects local culture so that it can become a new icon for Pangkep Regency as a city producing the best marble handicrafts in South Sulawesi.

Abstract

This study investigates the application of Islamic architectural principles in the design of an Islamic Center in Bulukumba Regency, Indonesia. As a region focused on religious activities, Bulukumba requires a venue for both the community and government to conduct these activities, in the form of an Islamic Cultural Center. The center is intended to accommodate various social, educational, health, economic, and Islamic propagation activities, while serving as a cultural landmark reflecting the spiritual and communal identity of the Muslim community. The study highlights the importance of integrating geometric patterns and traditional materials to create spaces that promote Islamic cultural values and historical symbolism, alongside designing supportive facilities. The proposed framework considers fundamental Islamic principles derived from the Qur'an and Hadith, adapted to the local context of Bulukumba. The primary objective of this study is to enhance understanding of how architectural elements can enrich the functionality and cultural significance of the Islamic Center, contributing significantly to the development of contemporary architecture in Indonesia

Abstract

Kata Kunci : Arsitektur Ramah Lingkungan; Kawasan Peternakan; Daging Abstract Beef is a vital food source in Indonesia, but its demand continues to rise year after year, while the supply of beef remains insufficient. Farmers face difficulties in finding adequate land for livestock farming, and there is also a lack of understanding of modern and hygienic livestock management practices. Makassar, as the capital of South Sulawesi Province with a population of over 1.5 million people, is experiencing rapid population growth, resulting in an increased consumption of beef, averaging 15-20 tons per year. The traditional farming methods still in use are no longer sufficient to meet the demand for beef in Makassar. This research aims to design a Modern Livestock Farming Area that can enhance the beef supply in Makassar and maintain the existing livestock population through improved breeding processes. The design of this livestock area also incorporates an eco-friendly architectural concept, with a focus on waste management, natural lighting, and ventilation, to achieve zero waste goals in the management of the livestock area. The research methodology employed is descriptive analysis, involving the collection of primary and secondary data, as well as comparative studies to analyze and conclude the results of the modern livestock farming area design with an eco-friendly architectural approach in Makassar. The design results primarily emphasize waste management, lighting, and natural ventilation in the buildings. Key Words : Eco-friendly Architecture; Farm; Beef

Abstract

Abstract_ Behavioral architecture is architecture whose implementation always includes behavioral considerations in design. Humans are the center of the environment and at the same time also become part of the environment. In general, the application of behavioral architecture contains elements that must be taken into account, including social activities that are accommodated in the building, the flexibility required for each activity, activities that influence or are influenced, and Background and goals of space users. Descriptive study identifying hijab behavior and Islamic brotherhood in the case of a design study for women's fitness and beauty centers. The identification results found behavioral groupings in the form of private space zones for beauty care activities, fitness activities and semi-private activities in shared space zones such as commercial and information areas. Neutral colors are used in the room to make visitors safe and comfortable.

Abstract

Beef is one of the main staples in Indonesia. This is evidenced by the demand for beef which continues to increase every year, this is not matched by the supply of beef. The breeders are increasingly having difficulty getting adequate land areas for livestock locations and there is still a lack of knowledge about clean and modern farm rearing processes. Makassar City, which is the capital city of South Sulawesi Province with a population of more than 1.5 million people, along with the increase in population in Makassar City, meat consumption also continues to increase with an average meat consumption reaching 15-20 tons of meat. The farm system, which still relies on traditional methods of raising cattle, cannot meet the demand for beef in Makassar City. The presence of this modern farm will increase the supply of meat in Makassar City by accommodating the number of cattle in Makassar City, of course with a breeding process in order to maintain the existing cattle population. The design of this farm applies the concept of eco-friendly architecture, which focuses on waste management, lighting and natural ventilation as a zero waste effort in the farm area.

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country where one of the primary commodities is the farm sector. Corn is one of Sulawesi's leading food crop commodities, especially South Sulawesi. The region that is one of the best maize producers in South Sulawesi is Takalar Regency. Therefore, this sector must be able to be developed to help the regional economy. The general objective of this discussion is to design a corn culinary center tour in Takalar Regency with a metaphorical architectural approach. The research methods used are literature, precedent, and field studies: site Selection Criteria, Location Allocation, Land Area, Access to the Site, and Utilities. The location chosen for the corn culinary tourism design is in Polongbangkeng Utara District. The results of the field data analysis show that Palleko Village is a strategic Village from the several primary considerations above. The environmental conditions on the site are a strategic area of the Regency as a center for artificial tourism, especially culinary tourism. Therefore, to optimize the tourism potential of culinary centers in Takalar Regency by developing one of the food crop sectors in the form of corn, it is necessary to design a corn culinary tourism center with a metaphorical architectural approach in Takalar Regency, which can be an attractive culinary tourism option for the community and is more organized in offering food processed corn centrally.

Abstract

The Pasir Putih beach tourist attraction in West Papua is a recreational and religious attraction full of historical value, making it a mainstay for tourists visiting West Papua. This tourist attraction offers the natural beauty of its beaches, which are unique in their sea water which has three colors). However, the management aspects of Pasir Putih Beach are still not managed professionally by the government, and there is a lack of awareness among the local community. This design aims to support the existence of the Pasir Putih Beach tourist attraction. As a condition for developing the attractiveness of the tourist attraction, it is necessary to develop facilities that can accommodate every activity for the local community and tourists at the attraction. The design principle of Eclectic Architecture is to combine the styles and elements of traditional Papuan architecture and Scandinavian architecture in building design. The process goes through stages of data analysis and synthesis methods to produce a design for accommodation in the form of a cottage with several supporting facilities such as parks/green open spaces, recreation areas, children's play areas, and beach volleyball sports areas. It is hoped that this design can become a facility that can meet accommodation needs at the Pasir Putih Beach tourist attraction while also increasing its attraction for tourists by using a design that displays the beauty of the past and present in the shape of the building, ornaments, materials and coloring techniques so that it becomes its characteristic, which is different from other tourist attractions.

Abstract

As imperfect living beings, humans sometimes do good deeds and sometimes do evil deeds based on the lust in their hearts and minds. Humans are not aware that they will grow old and are getting closer to death. After making mistakes, humans tend to have a sense of regret and want to improve themselves to be much better. The authorities and the community are needed as a comprehensive response effort by working together actively and continuously. In medical science, most classes of drug drugs are helpful for treatment, but they can also be misused if they are not by the dosage or standard of treatment that is circulating legally. The behavioral architecture approach as a method of designing rehabilitation designs becomes a vehicle for improving human behavior and requires good humanitarian support.
