Abstract

Abstract_As a maritime country, Indonesia has vast territorial waters, which have a significant potential for fish resources—culinary tourism to taste the results of natural resources in the ocean. The problem formulation is based on how to design a Lappa Lelong culinary tour to get a qualified design to become a reference for a situation in fish trading places. The data collection method uses three systems, namely: secondary data, where a literature review is carried out; primary data, namely data generated directly or field observations as well as precedent studies, which carry out comparative studies on the design of buildings where fish auctions are held and concepts related to architectural behavior. Geographically, Sinjai Regency is located at 5°2''56" - 5°21''16" south latitude and 119°56''30" - 120°25''33" east longitude. Based on the RTRW of the strategic area with tourism designation, TPI is located in the Lappa village, with site conditions based on observations that are capable and have potential based on the research criteria conducted. This site could be a potential site for developing the fish auction area in Sinjai Regency. For the story of one of the food sectors in Sinjai district, it is necessary to design a lappa lelong culinary tour in Sinjai district with a behavioral architectural approach that can become a more organized forum for people to enjoy fish culinary delights in lappa lelong Sinjai. The design concept used in the design of the lappa auction culinary tour is how to relate the behavior of the use of the designed building.

Abstract

The construction of a rest area is essential to provide a comfortable resting place for drivers when they experience fatigue and decreased body endurance, according to Law Number 22 of 2009. This writing aims to obtain the results of designing a rest area using a behavioral approach. The discussion method begins with data collection, which is processed through field surveys by collecting physical/location data information according to the needs of the design concept approach. Then, function and approach and collect precedent studies. After the data collection method, a literature study was carried out in the form of theoretical data collection/standardization of data estimates. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive, synthetic, and exploratory methods. The research results obtained a territorial design concept in the rest and eating areas, which were grouped based on visitor characteristics. The idea of territory is applied to function as an area divider to provide comfort to its users. In using the concept of territory, three forming elements are needed. Namely, fixed elements, where these elements cannot be shifted or moved easily by the user; semi-fixed elements, where these elements are semi-fixed and can be turned or transferred at any time; and non-fixed elements are free elements is space resulting from change, this element is more related to humans as users of space, for example the movements and gestures of the human body..

Abstract

Abstract_Indonesia has 2,250 Special Schools (SLB) for Children with Special Needs (ABK) from elementary to high school in the 2021–2022 academic year. This study aims to design a Special Elementary School (SDLB) with a behavioural architecture approach in Mamuju Regency to produce a design that meets the needs of ABK. The research methods include data collection from literature studies and descriptive analysis based on field surveys of site conditions. The results indicate that site selection, condition, and area must be based on criteria and regional spatial plans to ensure that the building design aligns with actual conditions on the ground and incorporates behavioural architecture. The planning of the SDLB must consider ABK's particular needs, accessibility, comfort, and safety. Applying the behavioural architecture concept in SDLB design considers the behaviour of ABK and connects it with the use of the designed building. The design of SDLB with a behavioural architecture approach focuses on creating a safe and standard-compliant building by considering the needs and activities of ABK from an architectural perspective.

Abstract

_ Art is an inherent part of humanity; where there are people, art exists. An Arts Building is a venue that showcases various art forms and serves as a source of information, knowledge, education, and recreation in Bone Regency. As development increases, so does pollution. Therefore, it is essential to design buildings that can mitigate or minimize this pollution while functioning effectively, such as by creating environmentally friendly buildings. This research was conducted descriptively through a literature review, collecting information and data from books and the internet relevant to the research topic. The results show that designing an Arts Building with a biomimicry architectural approach using natural strategies is a suitable solution. One application of the biomimicry concept is the use of self-cleaning materials. The addition of TiO2 (Titanium Dioxide) to building materials aims to decompose harmful elements in the surrounding environment through a photocatalysis process similar to that in plants.
