Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of job demands on work engagement in employees at PT X. This study uses the quantitative method. The subjects in this study amounted to 53 people, using saturated sampling techniques. The measuring tool used uses Rahyu's (2019) job demands scale and I Gde Dhika Widarnandana's (2019) work engagement. These two variables refer to the theories of Schaufeli and Bakker (2004). Data collection procedure by distributing questionnaires online using googleform. In analyzing the data, researchers used SPSS Version 25.0. The results showed that there was a significant influence between job demands on work engagement in employees at PT X.

Abstract

Law Number 3 of 2022 concerning the Capital City (IKN Law) has become the focus of debate due to the lack of public participation and the brief formation process. This study, utilizing a normative juridical method, assesses the legal politics within the IKN Law through a legal and case-based approach. The research results indicate that the involved legal political dynamics have not fully reflected the needs of the society, evident from a superficial analysis of the academic text and indications of formal and material flaws due to hastiness. Remedial measures are necessary, such as fostering more active public participation, conducting in-depth analyses of societal needs, addressing formal and material flaws, enhancing transparency, adjusting the formation timeline, collaborating with stakeholders, periodic evaluations, and educational campaigns. Thus, it is expected that the IKN Law can be more effective, represent the interests of the public, and provide a solid legal foundation for the development of the new Capital City.

Abstract

Background: LBW babies require special care because they experience various disorders such as body temperature instability, respiratory problems, immunological immaturity, gastrointestinal problems, nutrition, liver immaturity, and hypoglycemia. Premature babies are exposed to stressful environments, high-intensity noise, and continuous bright light. They lose the mechanical sensory stimulation they received in the womb. Massage can help facilitate the weight gain process. Objective: To identify the effect of baby massage on LBW weight gain in the Neonatology room at Taman Husada Bontang Regional Hospital. Method: This research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design or also called quasi experiment. Pretest-Posttest with Control Group Design. The population in this study was LBW who were treated in the Neonatology room at Bontang Regional Hospital. Based on data obtained in January, the number of LBW babies was 16 babies, in February there were 10 babies, while in March there were 16 babies. If added up, there are 42 babies and on average every month around 13 babies are treated in the Neonatology room. This analysis was carried out using a paired t-test to see whether there was an effect of baby massage on increasing the baby's weight and body length. Results: The results of the study showed that the difference in the average increase in baby weight in the intervention group was 126.19 and in the control group was 37.62. The average difference in body weight between the intervention group and the control group was 163,810 and the difference was 101,545 to 226,074. The results of the independent t test obtained a Sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05, then as is the basis for decision making in the independent t test, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of baby massage on LBW weight gain in the NICU room at Taman Husada Bontang Regional Hospital. Conclusion: There is an effect of giving baby massage 3 x 15 minutes for 10 days on increasing the weight of LBW neonates (p=0.000).

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Pasien kanker payudara sering mengalami nyeri yang dapat mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari dan menurunkan kualitas hidup . Efikasi diri yang tinggi akan lebih mampu mengorganisir keadaan untuk menerima serta membantu untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi, kemampuan diri membuat dirinya mau menerima penyakit yang dideritanya dan memberikan motivasi kesembuhan ketika proses pengobatan. Metode: Rancangan korelasional desain cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pasien kanker payudara di RSUD Taman Husada. Metode nonprobability sampling dengan teknik total sampling sebanyak 37 orang. Instrumen kuesioner nyeri numeric rating scale, kuesioner kemampuan aktivitas (palliative performance scale) dan kuesioner kualitas hidup. Analisa data menggunakan uji korelasi pearson dengan skala ukur rasio. Hasil: Diperoleh nilai p-value 0,000 (p<α 0,05) dan nilai r-pearson sebesar (-0,613) yang berarti kekuatan hubungan sedang dengan arah hubungan negatif artinya semakin tinggi tingkat nyeri maka semakin menurun kemampuan aktivitasnya. Diperoleh nilai p-value sebesar 0,000 (p<α 0,05) dan nilai r-pearson sebesar (-0,978) yang berarti kekuatan hubungan kuat dengan arah hubungan negatif artinya semakin tinggi tingkat nyeri maka semakin menurun kualitas hidupnya. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan nyeri dengan kemampuan aktifitas dan kualitas hidup pada pasien kanker payudara di RSUD Taman Husada Bontang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara literasi digital dan kemampuan penerjemahan mahasiswa yang dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa semester 7 Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris FKIP Unmas Denpasar. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Ex-Post Facto dengan Desain Korelasi. Pengumulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran tes berupa pengetahuan literasi dan tes penerjemahan naskah argumentasi. Analisis Shapiro-Wilk memiliki tingkat signifikansi lebih besar dari 0,05. Penguasaan literasi digital mempunyai nilai signifikan sebesar 0,731. Sementara, nilai signifikansi kemampuan penerjemahan adalah 0,215. Artinya pada dasarnya kemampuan penerjemahan, penguasaan literasi digital, dan data variabel sudah mempunyai tingkat normalitas tertentu. Pada uji homogenitas nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,164 maka dapat disimpulkan berdistribusi homogen. Nilai signifikansi korelasi product-moment Pearson adalah 0,000. bahwa data telah membuktikan adanya korelasi antara kedua variabel. Tingkat signifikansi seluruh kelompok data yang dianalisis menggunakan T-Test sampel independen menunjukkan 0,02. Kesimpulannya, data telah membuktikan bahwa penguasaan literasi digital berkorelasi secara signifikan dengan kemampuan penerjemahan mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki upaya pemberdayaan kelompok petani sorgum untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga di Desa Lamabelawa, Kecamatan Witihama, Kabupaten Flores Timur. Rumusan masalah penelitian fokus pada strategi dan kegiatan untuk memberdayakan kelompok petani sorgum guna memperkuat ketahanan pangan di tingkat rumah tangga, dengan dasar teori pemberdayaan sebagai kerangka konseptual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan data primer dari informan dan data sekunder dari dokumen terkait variabel penelitian. Pengumpulan data melibatkan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan kelompok petani sorgum dilakukan melalui kegiatan Bina Manusia, Bina Usaha, Bina Lingkungan, dan Bina Kelembagaan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemberdayaan tersebut dapat memperkuat peran kelompok petani sorgum dalam mencapai ketahanan pangan di tingkat rumah tangga.

Abstract

Introduction: Medical records are one of the standards for improving the quality of hospital medical services (Ministry of Health, 2008b). Implementation of electronic medical records in the emergency room at Taman Husada Bontang Regional Hospital began in November 2019 without any SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) or technical guidelines for filling out electronic medical records. , so that many electronic medical records are found to be incompletely filled out. Method: This type of quantitative research uses a cross sectional approach, with descriptive observational research methods. The sample in this study consisted of 26 respondents (total sampling), with a non-probability sampling technique. The instrument used was the workload questionnaire by Nursalam (2017). Meanwhile, the questionnaire for the level of knowledge and infrastructure uses a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Results: The results of the chi square test showed a significant p value <0.005, namely the relationship between workload and completeness of documentation content (p value 0.001) and the relationship between workload and level of knowledge (p value 0.001).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the dynamics of the self-concept of former political prisoners in the 1965 PKI event where this research uses qualitative research with interviews and literature studies from various sources which later the interview data will be triangulated by comparing from other sources. This study uses a purposive sampling technique so as to produce two sources who will be interviewed. The results of this study explain that the events of 1965 and being a political prisoner affect the dynamics of self-concept in individuals, especially the environment and self-acceptance. An environment that tends to make it difficult for individuals will build a positive self-concept and good self-acceptance will also make individuals have a positive self-concept.

Abstract

Foreign investment plays a crucial role in the economic development of a country. To attract foreign capital, the function of law is essential. This abstract will discuss the relationship between foreign investment and the role of law in the context of attracting foreign capital for economic development. Foreign investment can significantly contribute to the economic development of a country, such as increased production, job creation, technology transfer, and improved access to global markets. However, to attract foreign capital, a country must have a stable, transparent, and reliable legal environment. The role of law in attracting foreign investment encompasses several aspects. Firstly, clear and guaranteed investment laws provide legal certainty for foreign investors. This includes protection of property rights, protection against expropriation without fair compensation, and effective dispute resolution mechanisms. Secondly, fair and balanced labor laws provide certainty for investors regarding labor relations with local workers. Protection of workers' rights, freedom of association, and fair labor dispute resolution mechanisms are crucial factors in attracting foreign capital. Thirdly, clear and transparent tax laws provide certainty for investors regarding tax obligations and available fiscal incentives. An efficient and fair tax system can encourage foreign investment. Fourthly, stringent and sustainable environmental laws provide assurance that foreign investments will operate with consideration for the environment. Strong environmental protection and strict enforcement of environmental regulations can enhance investor confidence in the sustainability of their investments. In the context of attracting foreign capital for economic development, a strong and effective legal framework is crucial. A country must have a clear, transparent, and reliable legal environment to create an attractive investment climate for foreign investors. Thus, foreign investment can become a driver of sustainable economic growth and provide benefits for both the host country and foreign investors

Abstract

Political movements are usually initiated by dissatisfaction with a large system in every social function. When this function experiences deviation (distortion), conflict occurs which triggers political movements. With the aim of normalizing towards social change.Conflict is triggered by social inequality (social injustice), as a trigger for a social movement towards social change. In a theoretical perspective, conflict is viewedas an initial indication of a social (political) movement. This social scientific article examines the meaning of behavior in sociological studies from the perspective of the meaning of behavior in the occurrence of political movements aimed at better social change.
