Abstract

Power plant development planning challenged by several targets such as increasing renewable energy (RE), reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and commitment to environmental sustainability while still considering economic principles. Utilization of RE still not optimal due to ability to compete economically with fossil fuel plants. This underlies the need for an analysis of the costs of externalities as compensation for fossil energy use on public health and the environment using the amount of SO2 and Nox. This study use least cost optimization model called Balmorel to modelling optimal alternatives on electricity demand and comparison of investment costs in several scenarios, including the target percentage of RE utilization in the National Energy General Plan (RUEN), The commitment to reduce GHG emissions, and scenarios when externality costs applied on fossil fuels. The result show that the application of externality costs will provide highest percentage of NRE utilization of 60% with an electricity tariff of 7.25 US cents / kWh, exceeding the target of NRE utilization in RUEN of 40.6% in 2040, and being able to fulfill the GHG emission reduction commitment on Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) in 2030 with 214 million tons of CO2 emissions (60.1% lower than the NDC CM1 target and 58% lower than CM2).

Abstract

Academic portal of Universitas Andalas is an information system that act as an academic information integrator as well as a means of communication between the campus academic community. Based on preliminary analysis that has been done, the Academic portal of Universitas Andalas functional is still not optimal, especially in terms of academic guidance facilities. The online academic guidance at Universitas Andalas so far still relied on social media applications which are generally in the form of chat applications. Social media usage as a communication facility for online academic guidance is not documented well. Meanwhile, academic guidance documentation is needed due to one of the accreditation assessments components by the National Higher Education Accreditation Board. Besides academic guidance is also a requirement for getting exam card for students. Academic guidance which done face to face, requires students to meet with the supervisor to get signature on the test card. There are several cases where students have not been able to meet face-to-face with a supervisor which resulted in being unable to take the exam. The solution to the problem above is to develop an online academic guidance facility in academic portal of Universitas Andalas. This facility is fulfilled by creating chatting facilities as social media or chatting applications that are often used. For this reason, research is needed to develop online academic guidance facilities. This research aims to develop an online academic guidance facility in academic portal of Universitas Andalas so that academic guidance can be run optimally and are documented. The research method used is a preliminary study to obtain accurate information and data needed, literature study, analysis and system design, implementation, and testing. The testing method used in this study uses black box testing. There are 18 functional requirements obtained based on the analysis. This research has created a portal that has an online academic guidance facility in academic portal of Universitas Andalas. The test results of the system show that the functional system is in accordance with the functional requirement.

Abstract

Starting from Wuhan in China, the new type of corona virus (SARS-CoV-2) has spread to various countries in the world, including Indonesia, which is known as the COVID-19 disease. On March 11, 2020, WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic, which is an epidemic that has spread to several countries or continents, and generally affects many people. The President of the Republic of Indonesia has issued Presidential Decree No. 12/2020 concerning the determination of COVID 19 as a non-natural national disaster. This indicates that the Covid 19 Pandemic is increasingly widespread in Indonesia, including the city of Padang and that strategic steps are needed to fight its spread, one of which is in providing information that is easy to read and understand by the public. For this reason, in this study we utilize geospatial web technology to disseminate Covid 19 information to urban villages in Padang City. Geospatial Web is part of WebGis which is able to provide location-based information in more detail and in map form and is presented using web technology so that it can be accessed by the wider community easily. There are five types of geospatial web services used, namely Web Map Service, Web Feature Service, Web Coverage Service, Web Map Tile Service, and Web Processing Service. It is hoped that the results of this study can contribute to the Padang city government and its community regarding the information on the spread of Covid-19 in more detail and location-based.

Abstract

Disease attacks the farming, it will reduce the poultry productivity. When the chicken get sick, doctors are expected to be able to help treat and prevent diseases to avoid becoming epidemic. However, this does not really help because it takes a long time to call a doctor while the disease keeps spreading. This study aims to build an expert system by applying the Forward Chaining method that has an accuracy calculation to identify broiler diseases and provide a way to overcome it. Expert system development is carried out using the waterfall system development method with the software life cycle approach sequentially including the analysis, design, programming, and testing. The authors used data from PT. Ciomas Adisatwa, a branch of Bandar jaya - Lampung Tengah. The data were directly obtained from Field Extension Officers, through interviews and direct observation. Accuracy measurements were performed using the Certainty Factor methods. Expert System Identification of Broiler Diseases was tested using the Equivalence Class Partitioning method which is a part of Black Box Testing. The tests show Broiler Disease Identification System went well. The Certainty Factor method shows an accuracy of at least 96% for all types of diseases.

Abstract

FinTech, a word derived from a combination of "Financial" and "Technology”. Nowadays, this term refers to a new business in the Indonesian financial and banking industry, a technological innovation that is attracting public attention. The purpose of this study is to develop a FinTech mechanism model for technological innovation in the Indonesian Financial and Banking Industry. Problems arise in how to develop the FinTech mechanism model that influenced by business drivers factors, which in turn has an impact on technology innovations that developed. In this case study, the research used is mixed-method, which is a method that combines qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative research data were collected using the literature study, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions with related parties. Data survey using a questionnaire conducted for quantitative research, where the data was processed using smartPLS software. The results of this study produce a theoretical framework, which is the basis of the conceptual framework and empirical model of this research. The results of empirical tests on this model show that the FinTech mechanism has a role in mediating business drivers factors towards technology innovations developed in the Indonesian Financial and Banking Industry. The contribution of this research can provide insight and understanding for researchers and practitioners who want to develop business models related to FinTech in more depth.

Abstract

Innovations on a talk show on television can be a threat. Audience will be divided into groups so that it can make a downgrade rating program. Program ratings affect companies that will use advertising services. Television companies will go bankrupt. The biggest source of income is sales of advertising services. One way to overcome them can be analyzed in public opinion. The results of the analysis can provide information about the attractiveness of the community towards the program. But the analysis process takes a long time and can be done only by a competent person so another process is needed to get the results of the analysis that is fast and can be done by anyone. In this study using K-Medoids Clustering in the process of identifying public opinion. The clustering process known as unsupervised learning will be combined with the labeling process. The previous episode's tweet data will be labeled and then used to obtain the predicted labels from other cluster members. Labels consist of three types, namely 1) theme, 2) resource persons, and 3) programs. Before going through the clustering stage, the tweet data will go through the text preprocessing stage then transformed into a numeric form based on the appearance of the word. Transformation data will be clustered by calculating proximity using Cosine Similarity. Labels from the Medoids cluster will be used on unlabeled tweet data. The cluster results were tested using the Silhouette Coefficient method to get 0.19 results. However, this method successfully predicted public opinion and achieved an accuracy of 80%. Abstract

During the Covid-19 period there were a lot of decreases in AC Service Services in Medan in all companies that did not use online services. This sevice service is difficult to promote by CV. XYZ because it only sticks small banners on the side of the road so that the level of income from the AC Service is not experiencing an increase but has decreased.Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a business strategy that combines processes, People and Technology. CRM Helps attract sales prospects, convert them into customers, and retain existing customers, satisfied and loyal customers.

Abstract

Kinov Seprai is a business that has been operating for four years focusing on selling sheets and mattress covers, the system used by Kinov Seprai is still uses the manual method for recording sales data and product data, product marketing is limited to the surrounding area and is carried out by word of mouth. , product orders must come to the location so that the number of sales is limited and prone to human error. Web-based information system is a technology that contains various information, transactions and data processing to overcome these problems. The method used to build an information system is a prototype and problem analysis using the PIECES method. The results of this study are web-based information systems can provide informative information, effective promotional media, wider target market and easier and time-saving sales services.

Abstract

Mobile device technology (mobile) is one of the most widely used communication and information devices in March 2020 as many as 55.43% of mobile device users and the number of mobile device users will continue to rise leaving the desktop over time. Mental disorders in modern times are increasingly becoming a serious problem in society. Most of the incidents of suicide are related to mental-emotional disorders. Decision Support System (DSS) or Decision Support System (DSS) is a system capable of providing problem solving capabilities. Forward chaining is a method of DSS that uses an inference engine and can be described logically as an iterative application of the modus ponens. The purpose of this study is to build a student mental disorder detector mobile application using the forward chaining method. This research discusses from system design, application implementation to application testing. The results of this study are a trial result and an informative mobile application and of course able to detect mental disorders of students.

Abstract

Learning media is a tool for teaching and learning that can influence whether a teaching and learning succeeds or fails. Following technical advances and societal or student situations, there must be innovation in the development of learning media. As in the case of the Covid-19 Pandemic, where nearly all of the teaching and learning takes place online. Using VTuber (Virtual YouTuber) as content in online learning media is one of the innovations that can be implemented. Virtual avatars in the form of 2D (two-dimensional) or 3D (three-dimensional) avatars are used to construct VTuber, an online talent entertainer. Face and hand tracking technology can make VTuber feel like he or she is interacting with students, making teaching and learning processes less boring. The notion of VTuber was created as a learning media material in this study. The VTuber concept is hoped to be used at all levels of education, from elementary school through university, because animation appeals to people of all ages. Of course, story ideas must be tailored to the learning subject, and humorous anecdotes or jokes must be included to keep the online class setting lively.
