Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between smartphone addiction and a sense of pity among students of Sunan Ampel State Islamic University in Surabaya. Loneliness is the Y variable (the dependent variable), and smartphone addiction is the X variable (the independent variable). Research conducted on Sunan Ampel Surabaya State Islamic University students numbered 35 students in the category of adolescents with the number of 17 men and 18 women, increasing from ± 18 years and over who have smartphones. The data collection method used in this study is a Likert scale system that has been approved into five alternative answers. Data collection tools consist of a dimension of loneliness that was adapted by Gierveld and Tillburg (1990) consisting of 32 items and a smartphone addiction measuring device consisting of 18 items. Data analysis was performed by analyzing the implementation of product moments using the SPSS for windows version 16.0 assistance program. From the results of the analysis of research data obtained the relationship between smartphones and satisfaction with a significance level of p = 0.00, with the price of t = 5.45, this price is greater than t table of 0.361. Thus Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning there was a significant relationship between smartphone addiction and loneliness. This shows a significant difference to smartphone addiction for students.

Abstract

Various research results reinforce the importance of having human resources engaged in their work. Employees who are engaged in their work will benefit both in terms of individuals, groups and organizations. In fact, the level of employee engagement in Indonesia is relatively low. Even the level of work engagement in the millennial workforce is at the lowest level. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the work engagement of millennial employees in BUMN. Participants consist of 3 BUMN's employees, male and have a working period of between 5 and 15 years. Data obtained through semi-structured interviews and analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that work engagement in the millennial workforce is sourced from job resources and personal resources. Job resources include work environment, family atmosphere, career opportunities, rewards, valuable experiences and challenges; while personal resources include self efficacy. The millennial workforce also does job crafting by integrating their lives with their work.

Abstract

Schizophrenia is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes mental disorders with character abnormalities in perception or disorders regarding reality. Perception abnormalities can be in the form of disorders in the five senses, usually in the form of auditory hallucinations, paranoia, bizarre delusions, and can also be in the form of speech disorganization and disruption of real social communication. Case. Mr.SA, age 43, came with complaints of rampage to his family and surrounding community for no apparent reason. The patient was treated at Menur General Hospital Surabaya 2 years ago with a similar complaint. Psychiatric status obtained clear awareness, bad insight, blunt affect, auditory hallucinations, visuals, followed by delusions of control, suspicious. Diagnosis of axis I: paranoid schizophrenia, axis II and III: none, axis IV: Primary Support Group (Family) GAF axis scale 20.11 (danger of self-injury / others when entering hospital). Psychopharmaca therapy is chlorpromazine tab 1 x 100 mg, haloperidol tab 3 x 5 mg, and trihexyphenidyl 3 x 2 mg, and psychotherapy that is support. Conclusion The paranoid schizophrenia of this patient is due to work problems

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the shadow teacher to reduce social aggressiveness in one grade 1 student of elementary schools. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research. The technique used to collect data is observation and interview techniques. The instruments used in this study were observation guidelines and interview guidelines. Data analysis was performed using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Source triangulation is used as a test of the validity of the data used in this study. Qualitatively, the role of shadow teacher is very necessary for children who have problematic behavior, especially students who have social aggressiveness. The existence of a shadow teacher, students can feel cared for in the learning process so that students can participate in learning activities well in the classroom. In addition, students can also achieve learning outcomes in accordance with class demands and can follow their peers. The results showed that the presence of shadow teachers was quite effective in helping students reduce social aggressiveness in schools.

Abstract

The improvement of elementary school library services is very important especially to increase interest in reading, the limited availability of elementary school librarians has an impact on the need for cooperation to improve library services with mier ambassador friends namely library staff partners from the elements of students who have a hobby of reading. The purpose of this collaboration is to optimize the potential of school library services. Forms of cooperation undertaken include to improve the implementation of library activities programs, library promotion, reading habits habituation, reaward reading and fostering collection. This descriptive study uses a qualitative approach. The observation guide was made as a research instrument to collect data relating to the effectiveness of the collaboration of library staff and friends of Ambassador Ambassador to the increased interest in reading readers. The results of this study indicate that the library of SD Muhammadiyah 3 IKROM Wage really needs to collaborate with friends of Ambassador Ambassador to improve school library services

Abstract

Employee performance is the result of employee work based on capabilities that can be measured in quantity or quality to carry out certain tasks or work during a specified period of time in accordance with the demands of work and responsibility given to him. While happiness is a latent construct and advantages of the positive aspects as satisfaction and overall quality of human life. Everything that makes an individual feel better and happy with what they have learned. This study aims to determine the correlation between the performances of the insurance agent with happiness in the workplace. This research was conducted on the insurance company PT. A, Surabaya, with participants (N = 50) is an insurance agent who has worked at least one year, once the training, regular meetings and seminars held firm at least 3 times. Data were collected by purposive sampling method. The data collection was carried out by using Performance Scale Ratings which includes five dimensions of performance appraisal, and Happiness Scale by using Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ). Data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment parametric statistical analysis. The result of data shows that correlation coefficient was 0.802 with sig 0.000 (p <0.05), which means that there is a positive relationship between performance of the agents in the insurance of PT.A,Surabaya with happiness) in the workplace. Based on these results, happiness is proven to contribute effectively to the performance of an insurance agent in PT. A, Surabaya 64.4%. Descriptively, happiness levels of agent in PT.A,Surabaya was classified as moderate to high and most of the agents have a high level of happiness of 58% and most insurance agent in PT.A, Surabaya had high level of performance at 68 %

Abstract

PTSD (Post Trauma Stress Disorder) is a maladigmatic reaction that can be experienced by an individual after experiencing a traumatic event in his life. This will have an adverse effect if the individual cannot eliminate the trauma, so that it can disrupt his daily activities. The main symptom of PTSD is involuntary backlash of traumatic events in the form of intrusive dreams or "shadows", which burst into consciousness suddenly (flashbacks). This research was conducted to reduce maladaptive behavior such as crying when listening to people talking loudly to children who see domestic violence in their parents. The subjects in this study were one person carried out for eighteen days divided into six days of assessment and twelve days of therapy. The method used in this research is behavior modification with flooding techniques, where the traumatic trigger stimulus will be presented directly to the subject and after that will be given an understanding of the situation. The results of research that have been done show that the subject is able to maintain the behavior of not crying when hearing a high tone of voice when hearing other people talk.

Abstract

Nowadays, the areas around Mataram City are seldom encountered by rice fields, because almost all of the land is built into housing which was built by developers and offices built by government and private institutions. BTN housing itself is very much in demand. The marketing system conducted by PT. Citra Jaya Graha in selling its products using a marketing mix. First, PT. Citra Jaya Graha in providing its products in the form of BTN houses prioritizes quality by providing various types of houses. Second, in determining price, PT.Citra Jaya Graha to vary the BTN house that he built according to the type based on the price difference seen from the model of the house, type of BTN house (land area and building area), material prices and the cost of building the BTN house. Third, PT. Citra Jaya Graha in promoting products produced using billboards, brochures, and employees (marketing), print media (Lombok Pos newspaper) and electronic media such as websites and Facebook. Fourth, the process of distributing BTN houses is done directly, marketing offers directly to prospective buyers. PT. Citra Jaya Graha also built an Islamic housing complex. Like, Griya Sakinah housing and the establishment of a mosque or mosque in several housing complexes that had built.

Abstract

This study aims to intervene in children who are under the age category of toddlers with an attitude of independence in one kindergarten in Sampang, Madura. The method used in research is an experimental case study approach. Researchers provide interventions in the form of behavioral therapy, using Shaping techniques to bring up new behaviors that have not been displayed by children by providing reinforcement in every targeted behavior. This therapy can train children repeatedly with stages of modeling, imitating and taking the initiative to conduct targeted behavior interspersed with the reinforcement given. Children with this therapy will learn new behavioral patterns and learn slowly to apply and later become habitual behavior patterns. The independence formed by children here by maximizing limbs and moving the body to be able to themselves with simple class activities such as cursing shoes, taking and placing books, and taking the water they carry, which is usually through the teacher to fetch. The results of the application of shaping techniques for children are more learning and understanding that he must be independent at school and should not be accustomed to his behavior at home, even though the factors causing the independence are due to behavior patterns or treatment from his family (pampering).

Abstract

This paper discusses the effectiveness of English Diction election by Headmaster in Managing Institutions of Islam. Language consists of several ranks grammatical include words, phrases, clauses, and sentences. The word is the lowest level and the sentence is the highest level. When you write, the word is a key element in the effort to write. Therefore, a number of words in Indonesian should be well understood, so that one's ideas and messages can be easily understood. Thus, the words used to communicate to be understood in the context of the paragraph and discourse. The word as an element of the language, can not be used arbitrarily. However, these words should be used by following the correct rules. This Pnelitian use This research is qualitative descriptive study which is expected to reveal a variety of information-description rigorous analysis and meaningful. Sources of data in this research include the principals of this research study ju analysis pusataka research is to investigate the theory of structuralism and Derrida Jacquest dekonstruktifisme. Data was collected by interview, observation, and documentation and study the literature. Adapaun data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and analysis of data. The results of such research are (a) the selection of appropriate language diction will lead to a successful school leadership to manage and develop the advanced study lead.
