This study aims to find out the dominant factors or the cause of failure in the salt industry and also to find out the value of the sustainability index of the people’s salt industry in Pamekasan. The analytical method used in this study is the analysis of sustainability status with the “sustainability index of salt” approach that resulted from Rapfish analysis to determine the sustainability status of the people's salt industry in Pamekasan. Based on the analysis result of the sustainability status with the sustainability index approach, it shows that the value of ecological dimension (66.09) in the category is quite sustainable, meanwhile the economic dimension (49,33), social dimension (47,06), technological dimension (43,41), and institutional and policy dimension (39,73). Each of the dimensions is classified as a less sustainable category. To improve the sustainability status of the people’s salt industry in Pamekasan, the improvements to the institutional and policy dimension must be the main priority in the management of people’s salt industry in Pamekasan. The priority of improvement is also determined by the value of leverage analysis. The highest value of the attribute on leverage analysis becomes the first attribute that must be improved, so the priority of improvement needs to be focused on people’s dependence on salt dike business, the role of farmers for business sustainability, and society’s empowerment.

Declining level of public purchasing power affects several industries during the COVID- 19 pandemic. As one of the industries affected by the COVID-19, the decrease in sales performance felt by one of the telecommunication providers in Bali, Indonesia which has incurred loss in the first quarter of 2020. As a result, the sales personnel have experienced low level of motivation. The purpose of this study was to investigate howto motivate the sales personnel to continue work performance during the COVID-19 pandemic under the expectancy theory approach that consists of expectancy, instrumentality, and valence. The theory proposed if high level of efforts will lead to the attainment of high level of performances and high level of performances will be valued with desired outcomes in the future. Convenience sampling was used in this study. 110 respondents were collected and analyzed. The result shows simultaneous influences of independent variables toward dependent variable at p< .001 as the level of significance and the values of F= 69.493. This indicates that the sales personnel believe if theamount of effort given will be associated with the achievement of better performance and rewards. This study highlights the presence of expectancy variable which has a positive but not significant influence on motivation. This study suggests that expectancy variable should be increased while maintaining instrumentality and valence by setting realistic and achievable targets during the COVID-19 situation, providing necessary equipment and facilities to maximize skills and resources. Keywords: Expectancy, Instrumentality, Valence, Motivation, Sales personnel, Telecommunication, Indonesia

Mobile wallets do offer a variety of attractive features and offers, for example a payment method that users can choose from, such as installment payment called paylater. In recent years, internet-based installment methods have become increasingly popular with users of e-commerce and services on mobile devices Currently in Indonesia there are several digital wallet companies that provide paylater payment features such as Shopeepay, OVO, and Go-pay. Both manufacturing and financial services develop technological innovations not only to provide benefits for their consumers, but also to expand their business fields. In other words, the benefits of mobile payment services (MPs) are not only to provide added value for consumers but also to provide marketers with wider access to consumer consumption data on mobile platforms. Therefore, it is important to look at the process that takes place before consumers adopt the use of paylater as a payment method. This research will be entered into a descriptive study using a cross-sectional study to answer research questions. This study aims to identify factors that influence usage intention of paylater services through a model from the diffusion of innovation theory and obtained answers from 211 respondents through online questionnaires. Results revealed that compatibility and trialability were positively associated with participants’ intention to use paylater. However, low complexity had no association with participants’ intentions to use paylater.

Dividend policy is of concern to many parties such as shareholders, creditors, and other external parties who have an interest in the information issued by the company. This study aims to analyze the determinants of dividend payout ratio, which is proxied by variables, profitability (ROE), liquidity (CR) and company size (size) as moderating variables in LQ45 companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The population this study were all LQ-45 companies for the period 2016-2018. The sample was determined based on the purposive sampling method so that a sample of 19 companies obtained. The results of this study indicate that return on equity (ROE), current ratio (CR) have positive and significant effect on dividend policy (dividend payout ratio). The MRA test shows that firm size as a moderating variable can influence the relationship between profitability (ROE)and liquidity (CR) on dividend policy (DPR). The results of this study are also in line with the signaling theory which states that companies that pay high dividends will be positive signal for investors because they think the company will experience profits in the future and as an implication of this study the more liquid the company will be, the more internal funds it will receive. Keywords: Dividend Policy, Profitability, Liquidity, and Size (Company Size)
