Abstract

This study analyzes how changes in oil, gold, and coal prices affect the Indonesia Composite Index (IHSG) between 2015 and 2024, focusing on the impact of global commodity trends on the country’s stock market performance. Using a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression and secondary data from Investing.com and the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the research provides a reliable examination of these relationships. The results demonstrate that fluctuations in oil, gold, and coal prices have a notable positive effect on the IHSG, both individually and collectively. With an R² value of 88%, these variables account for the majority of the index’s movements, while the remaining 12% is influenced by other external factors, highlighting the strong role of commodity price changes in the Indonesian financial market.

Abstract

Accounting students’ job readiness is a crucial issue in facing the demands of an increasingly digitalized professional world. This study evaluates the role of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) use, accounting competencies, and digital literacy in shaping student job readiness. A quantitative approach using survey method was applied to 153 accounting students at private universities in Surakarta City who had taken courses related to Accounting Information Systems. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The study findings indicate that these three variables significantly contribute to job readiness. Individually and collectively, mastery of technical competencies and digital skills is positively correlated with increased student readiness to enter the workforce. This underscores the importance of integrating accounting skills and technological literacy into yhe learning process. This study was limited to accounting students at privet universities in Surakarta City, so the results cannot be broadly generalized to the entire accounting student population

Abstract

Cooperatives in indonesia constitute the foundational pillar of the national economy and hold a constitutionally strategic position. However, their existence is currently under pressure from the hegemony of modern markets, which are dominated by large capital interests and the penetration of digital technology. This study aims to provide a comprehensive mapping of the internal strengths and fundamental weaknesses of cooperatives within the Indonesian market system through a systematic literature review. The analysis examines 24 selected scholarly journal articles published between 2019 and 2026 to ensure the data remains relevant to current economic dynamics. The synthesis indicates that the primary strengths of cooperatives lie in their social capital, the principle of kinship (asas kekeluargaan) which fosters member loyalty, and their potential for digital adaptation as a tool to mitigate economic recessions and the dominance of multinational corporations. Conversely, the findings confirm chronic, unresolved weaknesses, including low managerial professionalism, limited access to capital, and small economies of scale that hinder price efficiency in competitive markets. External challenges, such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution and shifting consumer behaviors, demand that cooperatives undergo immediate structural transformation. This article concludes that the key to cooperative sustainability in the face of modern market hegemony lies in the implementation of agile strategic management, service digitalization, and the strengthening of strategic partnerships. Policy recommendations are directed toward reinforcing regulations that protect the cooperative ecosystem without compromising its inherent competitiveness within the market mechanism.

Abstract

An abstranct is a brief summary of a research article, The development of Islamic banking in Indonesia has shown significant growth, particularly through the implementation of murabahah contracts in financing at Sharia Rural Banks (BPRS). Murabahah is one of the most widely used financing products due to its relatively simple mechanism and ease of understanding by the public. This study aims to analyze the implementation of murabahah contracts in financing at BPRS Alwadiah Tasikmalaya, including the stages of implementation, compliance with sharia principles, and the challenges encountered. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation involving relevant parties at BPRS Alwadiah Tasikmalaya. The results indicate that the implementation of murabahah financing has been carried out systematically, starting from the financing application process, feasibility analysis, purchase of goods by the bank, execution of the contract, and installment payments. In general, the implementation is in accordance with sharia principles, such as price transparency and the absence of riba elements. However, several challenges remain, including the limited understanding of customers, the risk of delayed payments, and the use of wakalah contracts which require proper supervision to ensure compliance with sharia regulations. Overall, the implementation of murabahah financing at BPRS Alwadiah Tasikmalaya has been effectively carried out and is in accordance with sharia principles, although improvements are still needed in customer education and contract supervision.

Abstract

Non-performing loans represent one of the risks faced by banks in their lending activities, particularly in housing loan (KPR) products. This study aims to analyze the procedures for resolving problematic housing loans and to identify the factors causing the decline in debtors’ repayment ability, as well as the obstacles encountered in the implementation of such procedures at PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk, Tasikmalaya Branch Office. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through direct observation and interviews with relevant parties within the bank. The results show that the procedures for resolving problematic loans are carried out through several stages, including submission of restructuring applications, document verification, analysis of the debtor’s repayment capacity, determination of restructuring schemes, approval, agreement signing, and post-restructuring monitoring. These procedures are supported by the application of the 3R concept, namely rescheduling, reconditioning, and restructuring, which are implemented flexibly according to the debtor’s condition. The findings also indicate that the decline in debtors’ repayment ability is mainly caused by decreased income, job loss, increased living expenses, and unstable economic conditions. In practice, several obstacles were identified, such as incomplete documentation, lack of debtor cooperation, and issues related to collateral ownership that has been transferred from the original debtor. Therefore, improved supervision, better communication, and stronger coordination between the bank and debtors are necessary to ensure the effectiveness of loan resolution procedures.

Abstract

Fierce competition in the tourist bus industry, especially in the price segment, requires companies to understand the key factors that influence customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, price, and brand image on customer satisfaction of PO Jurus Elang in Semarang City through a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey involving 136 respondents selected by purposive sampling. Data were obtained from a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using SEM-PLS via SmartPLS. The results of the analysis indicate that service quality and price have a positive but insignificant influence, while brand image has a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction, with an R-square value of 0.721, reflecting good model strength. These findings emphasize that brand image is a major factor in increasing customer satisfaction, while service quality and price are more likely to be viewed as minimum standards by customers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the proportion and distribution of the Community Empowerment budget in the APBKal of Kalurahan Sitimulyo for the 2026 fiscal year and evaluate its alignment with inclusive development principles. The study employs a descriptive quantitative approach using APBKal documents, supported by limited interviews and observations. The results show that the allocation for community empowerment accounts for only 4.63% of total village expenditure, with an uneven distribution dominated by agriculture, livestock, and industrial sectors. Meanwhile, areas related to inclusivity, such as women’s empowerment, child protection, and MSMEs, receive relatively small portions. This indicates that budgeting remains oriented toward production-based economic sectors, and the principles of equity and inclusiveness have not been proportionally reflected. Although it refers to SDGs Desa and gender mainstreaming principles, their implementation still requires strengthening.

Abstract

This research investigates how the characteristics of virtual influencers influence consumers’ purchase intention, with consumer perception acting as a mediating variable. A quantitative explanatory method was applied, involving 134 social media users who had been exposed to promotional content by the virtual influencer Arbie Seo for Richeese Factory. Data analysis employed Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results reveal that credibility and authenticity exert a positive influence on purchase intention, whereas attractiveness shows a significant negative effect. In addition, credibility, attractiveness, and authenticity positively affect consumer perception. Consumer perception subsequently increases purchase intention and serves as a mediator in the relationship between virtual influencer characteristics and purchase intention.
