Abstract

This study aims to introduce an investigation method to solve mathematical problems using the Japanese anime series Detective Conan, while the spesific purpose is to introduce students to problem solving method that they need to understand based on the information provided and manage the information based on their abilities.  The method used in this research is classroom action research by showing one episode of the Detective Conan anime, after that organized several groups to test each group could solve the challenge quiz within 30 minutes and the results of the analysis of work based on cognitive function. The results showed that the mean duration of group investigation quiz was not significantly different from 30 minutes. In addition, based on the mean assessment of the results of the work there are two results, namely there are differences in values based on groups and no differences in values based on cognitive function..

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Department of Medan Elementary School Teacher Training (PGSD) Quality University Medan in March-April 2018. The study population was all students of PGSD FKIP University of Medan Quality totaling 400 people. Samples using the Random Sampling technique to obtain a sample of 80 students.This type of research is a correlation research using the Product Moment formula from Carl Person on the correlation test, and the t test at a significant level α = 0.05. Based on descriptive and statistical analysis, lecturer communication ability variables characterized by four aspects, namely the ability to communicate orally, communicate in writing, communicate nonverbally, and communicate through tools/media are in the medium category. While the variables of student learning motivation are characterized by diligent & tenacious aspects, aspects of interest, independent aspects, and desire aspects are in the good category.The results of the study showed that the lecturers' communication skills were relatively good with an average score of 36.32. The level of student motivation also tends to be good with an average score of 39.74. Hypothesis testing results obtained rxy > rtable (0,276 > 0,254) and tcount > ttable (2,413 > 1,67). So the hypothesis that says there is a significant positive relationship between the ability to communicate with the students' learning motivation PGSD FKIP University of Medan Quality is accepted.

Abstract

Principals must have competence in leading educational organizations in schools, one of the competencies that strongly supports their leadership is managerial competence. This study aims to determine the managerial competence of school principals in improving the quality of learning at the Malahayati Aceh Sailing Education and Training Center through the principal's programs and strategies in improving the quality of learning at the Malahayati Aceh Sailing Education and Training Center. The research used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Subjects in this study include principals, teachers, and students as students. Data was collected by direct observation and in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique went through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results showed that: (1) The Head of the Malahayati Aceh Maritime Education and Training Center had made a program to improve the quality of learning; and (2) the Head of the Malahayati Aceh Maritime Education and Training Center has a strategy for the success of the program that has been made in improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

ANANDA AYU MUTIARA, NPM 1305030167 “Improving of Student Learning Outcomes by Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Head Together Type of Math Story Studies in V Grade Class National Elementary School 066668 of Medan Johor 2016/2017 in years”. This research was held aims to fix learning and increase students learning output by cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together in type at math studies of common fraction distribution compare in mix fractional material. The main problems in this research so down exam outcomes of students in math studies indeed. The type of research is in classroom based action research. The subjects of this are who they has member of class V grade in national elementary school students 066668 Medan Johor being at 2016/2017 years entry within 40 students in a class and got to stand by 19 male students and 21 female students in are. The step of this research was due to two sessional that are part 1 and part 2 in a while. Tools of data collected had exam tests in essay form in a much 4 essay. By data of result outcomes within observation found by implementation of learning, teacher activity conducted growing up in 21,38% came from 59,69% score to 72,45% . Students activity told to growing 29,41% came from 68 to 88 in value, to individual completed when they should got 70 point in KKM, in classical look up in 29,63% from percentage of 67,5% to 87,5% and point of mean got up from 69,43 to 74,45. The conclusion by this research told to by the implemented of studies conducted the great criteria and outcomes studies had advance applied after by cooperative learning model in Numbered Head Together typed at the math stories studies within common fraction distribution compare in mix fractional material in V grade of class national elementary school 066668 Medan Johor 2016/2017 in years.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to compile a model of economic growth in Karo District with stochasticity so that it can predict the amount of economic growth in the future Karo District. The research method with data analysis uses a model that was built to be applied to analyze economic growth in Karo District and compose a model with mathematical assumptions that will be applied into the model.The results of the study are the estimation of the Karo Regency GRDP based on the constant 2010 prices according to the forthcoming expenditure of karo district in 2019, which is 14.22521 trillion Rupiahs and a year later or unknown is 14.72309 trillion Rupiahs and the estimation of the amount of economic growth in the Karo district in 2019 to come at 4.95%.A year later the estimated economic growth of Karo district was estimated at 3.49%. Conclusion The estimated value of population growth from the model made in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 is close to the actual population growth value with a MAPE value of 4.9590%.

Abstract

Population data needs are absolute things that must be met by BPS, but the most complete source of population data comes from population census results. Meanwhile, the implementation of the population census is only once every 10 years because it requires cost, time, and energy. Population prediction in the following year in each census period needs to be done to determine the difference in population growth in that year. Therefore, researchers are interested in studying the "Application of the Advanced Newton Gregory Polynomic Method and the Newton Gregory Backward Polynomic with the Hamilto-Perry Method in Predicting the Population of North Sumatra." this case the researcher will analyze between the three census periods. The purpose of this study is to obtain effective results from the three methods so that it can be used as an alternative application for the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Sumatra province to predict the population in the year between the census. For Hamilton-perry, the application of the method is easy to do because the calculation process is uncomplicated and the data used as prediction material is very minimal, but the predicted value produces a non-rounded value so it needs to be rounded but when the value has been rounded there is a difference between the value not rounded to the rounded value aggressively. Therefore we need an adjustment to the value of rounding results based on the value not rounded. Then based on an aggregate trial of population prediction using the Hamilton-Perry method it produces a value that is higher than the actual value. For the advanced newton gregory polynomic method and the backward newton gregory polynomic each obtained total relative error isΣ????????=0,31412327 and Σ????????=0,3522818. From the two relative errors it is known that the total error for the advanced Newtonton polynomial method is smaller than the total error for the backward Newtonian polynomial method. Thus the Newton Newton method of advanced polynomial has better accuracy

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui deskripsi pelaksanaan pembelajaran, peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dan minat belajar dengan menggunakan permainan tradisional sebagai strategi pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas V SD N 047175 Simacem Bekerah TA 2018/2019. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 20 orang. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan permainan tradisional sebagai strategi pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPA. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi dan tes. Dari hasil penelitian siklus I diperoleh hasil observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran aspek aktivitas guru adalah 59,92% dan observasi aktivitas siswa 68,33, sehingga pelaksanaan pembelajaran berkategori cukup, dan rata-rata nilai siswa adalah 68,25 serta rata rata skor minat belajar sebesar 16,50. Sedangkan hasil siklus II diperoleh pelaksanaan pembelajaran dari observasi aktivitas guru meningkat menjadi 73,15% dan observasi aktivitas siswa adalah 81,67, sehingga pelaksanaan pembelajaran berkategori baik, dan rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat menjadi 84,90 dengan rata rata skor minat belajar sebesar 26,50.  Berdasarkan dari analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran sudah berkategori baik,  dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 24,40 %, aktivitas siswa 19,52%, aktivitas guru 22,08% dan peningkatan minat belajar sebesar 60,60%. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan minat belajar siswa melalui permainan tradisional.

Abstract

Pelayanan Jantung Terpadu merupakan pelayanan yang diharapkan dapat melakukan pencegahan dan pengobatan penyakit jantung  dan pembuluh darah yang semakin meningkat baik kuantitas maupun kualitas khususnya di wilayah Sumatera. Penelitian ini bertujuan  mengukur kepuasan pasien PJT (Pelayanan Jantung Terpadu) terhadap kualitas layanan kesehatan rumah sakit dengan menggunakan metode Fuzzy Service-Quality. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama enam bulan. Pertama Penelitian melakukan persiapan-persiapan yang berhubungan dengan penelitian. Kemudian melakukan pengalaman ke rumah sakit untuk menentukan atribut-atribut untuk  kepentingan kuesioner. Untuk memperoleh data, penulis membagikan kuesioner kepada pasien yang  sedang berurusan di rumah sakit. Melakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas data. Mengolah data berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria olah data pada metode Fuzzy-Servqual. Dengan menentukan fuzzy set, fuzzyfikasi dan defuzzyfikasi. Menentukan nilai gap untuk melihat kesenjangan antara persepsi dan harapan. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa kelima dimensi tersebut memiliki kesenjangan (gap) negatif sehingga secara keseluruhan  nilai kepuasan pasien terhadap layanan  masih lebih rendah daripada nilai harapan. Dari lima dimensi servqual ini, nilai Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness,  Assurance dan berturut-turut adalah -1,69, -1,69, -1,30, -0,76 dan  -0,86. Gap  yang tertinggi adalah dimensi assurance dengan nilai –0,765 dan nilai gap yang terendah adalah dimensi tangibles dengan nilai -1,69.

Abstract

The research carried out is a classroom action research (PTK) using the Role Playing method in social studies subjects. This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes using the Role Playing method in the Social Studies Subject of Class V SD Negeri 040448 Kabanjahe for the 2019/2020 academic year. The location of this research is SD Negeri 040448 Kabanjahe. The subjects of this study were all students of grade V SD Negeri 040448 Kabanjahe, totaling 30 students and the object of this study was the use of the Role Playing method to improve student learning outcomes on the subject of services and roles of warrior figures in preparing for Indonesian independence. The instruments used were student observation and multiple choice tests.The results of the research in cycle I were obtained, namely 18 students who completed (60%), 12 students who did not complete (40%), and an average score of 62.6 had not reached the KKM score of 70. Cycle II action with student results 26 students (86.67%) completed, 4 students who did not complete (13.33%), and an average score of 78.66 can be said to be classically complete because it has reached ≥85%.Based on the results of data analysis, it is concluded that using the Role Playing method can improve student learning outcomes in the social studies subject on the subject of services and the role of warrior figures in preparing for Indonesian independence in class V SD Negeri 040448 Kabanjahe for the 2019/2020 academic year with an increase of 25.5%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine relations teaching attitude with student achievement. The population is all students of class XI SMA Cerdas Bangsa Deli Tua numbered 120 people consisting of 4 classes. To find the relationship of  teach attitude toward student achievement and using the formula Product Moment, from the calculation of the correlation coefficient between variables X and Y obtained R = 0.450 low category.By using the t– test obtained ttest = 4.329 to ttabel = 0.68 by comparing at significant level of 0.05 it can be concluded that the price t> ttabel. Thus H0 refused and ha accepted then it can be concluded there is a correlation attitude of teachers teaching on student achievement in the field of study in 11th grade XI SMA Cerdas Bangsa Deli Tua in the academic year 2015-2016
