Abstract

Public Relations plays a role in explaining or defending the public's unfavorable views of the institution, by presenting various data, facts and actual information. Based on the results of the initial public relations survey at Arifin Achmad Hospital, they are still experiencing problems in carrying out their role as public relations. The basis of this research is to find out the role of Public Relations in improving services at the General Hospital Arifin Achmad Riau Province in 2023. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. The research was carried out in July-August 2023 at Arifin Achmad Hospital in Riau Province. The writing subjects consisted of the Sub-Coordinator of law and Public Relations, the Head of General Affairs and Public Relations staff. The results showed that there were 4 roles carried out by public relations at the General Hospital Arifin Achmad Riau Province , namely the role as (1) communicator, the role of public relations as a communication liaison, namely conducting cooperative relations with other regional hospitals, conveying hospital information through communication media and not conduct two way communication with patients or the public.(2) relationship, the role of public relations as a relationship builder is not to build relationship with the media and do not receive training for internal public relations. (3) back up management, the role of public relations as a management support, namely public relations carrying out planning activities to implementation to be taken into consideration by general hospital Arifin Achmad Riau Province. (4) good image maker, the role of public relations as a positive image builder, namely by providing information in the hospital environment in the form of leaflets, banners and also outreach. In conclusion, the General Hospital Arifin Achmad Riau Province should pay attention to questions that are oriented towards hospital public relations in order to support service improvement.

Abstract

A career path is a formal, planned and organized effort to achieve a balance between an individual's career needs and the demands of work in an organization. At Tabrani Hospital, there are still nurses with a long working period who still do not have a good career path or have improved. The variables in this study are dependent variables, namely the career path of nurses and independent variables, namely education, training, employment period, and promotion. This research was conducted to see if there is a relationship between education, training, work period, and promotion with the career path of nurses at Prof. Dr. Tabrani Hospital Pekanbaru in 2024. The location of the research was carried out at Tabrani Hospital Pekanbaru in March-July 2024,This study is a quantitative, cross sectional research design. This study was conducted at Prof. Dr. Tabrani Hospital Pekanbaru, the population in this study amounted to 66 nurses, with a sample of 57 nurses. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate with chi-square test (α=0.05). The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between education (p = 0.705 <α=0.05), no relationship between working period (p = 0.346 <α=0.05), no relationship between training (p = 0.551 <α=0.05), and there was a relationship between promotion (p = 0.046 <α=0.05) and nurse's career path. Based on the results of the research, it was concluded that there was no relationship between education, working period, training, and there was a relationship between promotion and nurse career path.So the suggestion for hospitals to pay more attention to the main thing so that it can be beneficial for nurses and the hospital itself. Where both parties feel benefited in achieving the expected work results.

Abstract

Human resource development (HRD) and improving the competence of State Civil Apparatus are the keys to achieving effective and efficient governance. In BAPPEDA Riau Province, this effort is the main focus in facing regional development challenges. This study aims to analyze the strategy for developing State Civil Apparatus Human resources Development and its impact on government governance in 2024. The methods used in this study are literature studies and in-depth interviews with a number of officials at BAPPEDA Riau Province. The results show that planning, leadership support, educational cooperation and periodic evaluation in improving State Civil Apparatus competence through formal and informal training and education have a significant impact on the quality of public services and better decision-making In BAPPEDA Riau Province.

Abstract

Non-medical logistics as supporting equipment in perfecting and completing services at the Hospital that are beneficial for patients and Hospital employees. Hospital logistics has functions that are summarized in the logistics cycle including planning, procurement and storage. The planning process has been said to be going well because it has been carried out in accordance with existing procedures, however, in the procurement and storage process there are obstacles that have not been implemented effectively. So it is interesting for researchers to look at the logistics management of non-medical goods at RSIA Annisa. The aim is to determine the logistics management of non-medical goods at the RSIA Annisa Pekanbaru in 2024. The method used is descriptive qualitative research. The research was carried out in April-May 2024 at the RSIA Annisa. The informants in this research were 5 people consisting of the Financial Manager, Logistics Coordinator, PJ Logistics, Secretariat and Spirituality, and PJ IPSRS. The results of this research show that the logistics management of non-medical goods at the RSIA Annisa in terms of human resource input is still insufficient, facilities and infrastructure are still inadequate. The planning process has gone well, the procurement process has gone well but there are still obstacles to stock shortages, the storage process has gone well but the warehouse storage space is still insufficient. Existing obstacles still need to be evaluated to improve better logistics management of non-medical goods in the general support section and non-medical logistics warehouse at the RSIA Annisa Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Administering medication in hospitals is an important aspect of hospital services. Medication management in hospitals is an important aspect of hospital management. The aim of good drug management in a hospital is so that the drugs needed are available at all times, in sufficient and guaranteed quantities to support quality services. Medicine is an important element for healing efforts and hospital operations. The aim of this research is to determine drug management in the Thursina Duri Hospital Pharmacy Installation, Mandau District in 2024. This research uses qualitative research. The subjects of this research were 3 people. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results of the research found obstacles in drug management, namely that the drug planning process still did not meet pharmaceutical standards because drug shortages were still found. The procurement process is carried out by purchasing directly from the distributor via letter order, however problems in procurement usually occur due to shortages of drugs at the distributor. The drug storage process meets pharmaceutical standards. The drug distribution process still does not use the UDD (Unit Dose Dispensing) system. The results of the research found obstacles in drug management, namely that the drug planning process still did not meet pharmaceutical standards because drug shortages were still found.
