Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa XI SMAN 11 Semarang dalam menulis teks iklan berbahasa Jawa di SMA Negeri 11 Semarang pada siswa kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPS 1. Dalam kaitannya dengan kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Jawa siswa diharapkan mampu menguasai keterampilan menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Namun, dalam mencapai tujuan dalam sebuah pembelajaran, seringkali siswa mengalami kesulitan dan kesalahan khususnya pada keterampilan menulis. Adapun faktor utama yang mempengaruhi siswa dalam kegiatan menulis yakni minimnya literasi siswa yang berakibat pada beberapa masalah lainnya seperti minimnya kosa kata bahasa Jawa yang dimiliki oleh siswa, penggunaan unggah-ungguh basa yang kurang sesuai dengan kaidah bahasa Jawa, dan aspek ejaan yang masih kurang seperti kesalahan dalam penggunaan huruf kapital, dan kesalahan tanda baca seperti titik, koma, tanda seru, tanda tanya dan lain sebagainya.Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi (pengamatan) dan kuisioner atau angket. Setelah dilakukan analisis data, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas XI SMAN 11 Semarang mampu menulis teks iklan berbahasa Jawa walaupun terdapat beberapa siswa yang masih mengalami kesulitan dikarenakan beberapa faktor diantaranya yakni kurangnya penguasaan kosa kata bahasa Jawa dan kurang memahami kaidah penulisan bahasa Jawa yang baik dan benar. Selain itu, dalam hasil penelitian ini dari jumlah keseluruhan 70 siswa terdapat 85,7% atau sebanyak 60 siswa telah tuntas dalam menulis teks iklan berbahasa Jawa dan 14,2% dan sebanyak 10 siswa tidak tuntas dalam menulis teks iklan berbahasa Jawa karena nilai dibawah 75 atau KKM yang telah di tentukan oleh sekolah.

Abstract

Naskah Serat Kawruh Reka Mardi Mulya Sawatawis termasuk naskah yang berisi ajaran moral. Dalam naskah ini terdapat cara untuk mencapai kemuliaan sesuai dengan kondisi setiap orang. Kemudian naskah ini juga menjelaskan pentingnya memiliki rasa tepa selira. Dalam penelitian ini, langkah-langkah penelitian filologi yang dilakukan adalah inventarisasi naskah, deskripsi naskah, transliterasi naskah, penerjemahan naskah, dan analisis naskah. Teks Kawruh Reka Mardi Mulya Sawatawis merupakan teks dalam naskah cetak yang disimpan di Museum Dewantara Kirti Griya Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitis. Teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah dengan menggunakan teknik perekaman, dan teknik kartu data. Berdasarkan isi dari Serat Kawruh Reka Mardi Mulya Sawatawis di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mengupayakan kemuliaan memang tidak mudah. Ada banyak usaha yang harus dilakukan. Ada banyak pula pantangan yang harus dihindari. Serat Kawruh Reka Mardi Mulya Sawatawis bisa digunakan sebagai tuntunan bagi generasi muda sekarang yang ingin hidup Bahagia dengan cara yang instan. Serat Kawruh Reka Mardi Mulya Sawatawis yang ditulis pada tahun 1912 menggambarkan keadaan orang-orang Jawa pada saat itu. Tetapi ajaran moral dalam Serat Kawruh Reka Mardi Mulya Sawatawis cocok diterapkan pada masa kini karena fenomena hidup instan yang semakin merusak generasi muda. Generasi muda harus paham bahwa ketentraman atau kemuliaan memang harus diraih dengan berbagai Langkah dan membutuhkan waktu. Hal tersebut tidak bisa dimiliki dengan cara yang cepat dan singkat.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the influence of the social environment on the mastery of Javanese language in children aged 10-11 years in Gayamsari Village, Semarang with a psycholinguistic study. The purpose of this study was to describe the influence of the social environment on the mastery of Javanese language in children aged 10-11 years in Gayamsari Village, Semarang with a psycholinguistic study.The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, because it describes the influence of the social environment on the mastery of Javanese language in children aged 10-11 years in Gayamsari Village, Semarang. The data collection technique used in this research is the listening method. The techniques used in carrying out the listening method are recording techniques and note-taking techniques. Furthermore, the data collected is by using data reduction techniques, data presentation and conclusions.The results of this study can be stated: (1) Phonologically from the language children master the sounds in the pronunciation of vowels and consonants. (2) Morphologically, children have mastered pronouncing various forms of words well, such as: affixes (affixes), namely affixes at the beginning of words (prefixes), affixes in the middle (infixes), affixes at the end of words (suffixes), and reduplications. (3) Syntactically, there are errors in pronouncing words or phrases using Indonesian vocabulary in conversation. (4) Based on the environment, the influence of the social environment in children's Javanese language mastery is the cultural environment: out of 10 children in Gayamsari Village there is only one child who masters Javanese manners.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the value of character education in the novel Mitra Sejati Karya Tulus Stp as a teaching material to build a profile of Pancasila students in learning Javanese.This study uses qualitative research methods because the data are in the form of phrases, clauses, sentences, and discourses. The data source used is the novel Mitra Sejati by Tulus Setiyadi. Data collection techniques are in the form of documentation studies consisting of reading techniques and note-taking techniques. Data analysis techniques used in the form of data reduction, data display and data verification.The results of this study indicate that there are several values of character education that are relevant to the Javanese language curriculum at the junior high school level. First, character values respect and appreciate the teachings of the religion adopted. Second, the value of the character of responsibility. The third, the value of caring character. Then there is the value of character education as a teaching material to build the profile of Pancasila students in Javanese language learning, namely the values of respecting and living the teachings of the religion adopted, as well as responsibility.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low ability of class IX A student at SMP Negeri 02 Bantarkawung in writing descriptive text aboaut traditional ceremonies and delivering material that is still conventional and monotonous, so that learning becomes passive and boring. Seeing such conditions, it is necessary to strive for the application of interesting and appropriate learning media so that it can facilitate students in expressing their ideas, and feelings, especially in writing descriptive texts. Thus the formulation of the problem that can be taken in this study is how to apply Google Sites media in learning to write descriptive texts about traditional caremonies in class IX A students of SMP Negeri 02 Bantarkawung. In addition, there is a research objective is to describe the application of Google Sites media in learning to write descriptive texts about traditional ceremonies in class IX A students of SMP Negeri 02 Bantarkawung.This research is included in the descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study used test techniques in the form of knowledge and skills aspect questions as well as non-test techniques in the form of questionnaires.The results of this study are that Google Sites media can be applied in learning to write descriptive texts about traditional ceremonies in class IX A students of SMP Negeri 02 Bantarkawung. These results can be proven by the average value of students who achieve 92 in terms of knowledge aspects with a total of 19 students who complete. Meanwhile, from the aspect of skills, an average score of 87 was obtained with a total of 19 students who passed.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the application of the Brainstorming method in learning to write news texts for class X.1 students of SMAN 1 Kedungwuni. This is influenced by the lack of student interest in learning Javanese, especially in the material for writing news or news texts. These factors can also cause students to have difficulty understanding the material and lack understanding of vocabulary and language in Javanese subjects. The design used in this study was a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-shot case study involving only one group as a sample without a control group using a purposive sample sampling technique. The data obtained from this study are data collected through a posttest and a questionnaire (questionnaire).After conducting the research, the following results were obtained: 1) in the knowledge aspect competency test, a percentage of 92% was obtained or a total of 32 students received a complete score above the KKM, and there were only 2 students who had not yet reached the KKM. From these acquisitions, the final average value was 89 on the knowledge aspect. 2) in the skills aspect competence test, a percentage of 89% or 31 students whose grades have exceeded the KKM is obtained and 11% or 4 students whose scores have not reached the KKM. From this acquisition, a final average value of 79 was obtained in the skill aspect. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, learning to write an announcement text using the brainstorming method can have an influence on the learning activities of writing an essay text for class X.1 sman 1 Kedungwuni.

Abstract

This study aims to describe in detail the effectiveness of using Instagram Comic media in learning to write a synopsis of the Bima Bungkus story text for class X students at SMA Negeri 9 Semarang in the 2022-2023 Academic Year. This is motivated by students' lack of interest in reading and students' lack of interest in wayang stories. Inadequate use will affect student learning outcomes. So we need media that is adequate and can attract students' learning interest in the process of understanding the story of wayang Bima Bungkus. Thus, the formulation of the problem obtained is how effective is the use of Instagram Comic media in learning to write a synopsis of the story text Bima Bungkus in class X students.This research is included in the experimental research, with the type of research One-Group Pretests-Posttest Design. The data obtained will be used to determine the effect of treatment on controlled conditions. The approach used is descriptive qualitative. The data obtained from this study were in the form of test results, questionnaires and interviews.After analyzing the data, the following research results were obtained: From the results of the learning competency test scores using Instagram Comic media, the final average score of the competency test was 93.58. While learning that only uses Power Point media, gets an average final competency test score of 34.70. From the acquisition of the final average score of the competency test, it can be said that the final average score of the first meeting competency test using only Power Point media is lower than the predetermined KKM score of 75 and the final average score of the second meeting competency test those using Instagram Comic media are higher than the specified KKM score. Thus, the use of Instagram Comic media in learning to write a synopsis of the Bima Bungkus story text for class X students can have an influence on the achievement of the specified learning objectives.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the lack of ability of students of class XI RPL SMKN 1 Sayung in writing Javanese characters in Javanese subjects. Related to the formulation of the problem, the research examines a problem, namely how is the ability of students to write a paragraph using Javanese characters in class XI RPL SMKN 1 Sayung? This study aims to describe the results of the ability to write a paragraph using Javanese characters in class XI RPL SMK Negeri 1 Sayung 2022. This research is included in descriptive quantitative research by making One Shot Case Study as a design. This study uses a population of students in class XI RPL SMK Negeri 1 Sayung. Taking the sample by doing purposive sampling technique, in the study the sample was all students in class XI RPL SMK Negeri 1 Sayung which totaled 24 students. This data collection uses experimental techniques. It has become the basis of the analysis that has been studied, it is known that there are 24 students with the results of 20 students who have completed, namely 83% and there are 4 students who are not complete, namely as much as 17%. The resulting value of the class average on the test is 74 and already includes a value higher than the KKM determined by the school which is 65. The results obtained may indicate that writing paragraphs in Javanese language lessons is a difficult task for students of class XI RPL SMK Negeri 1 Sayung Demak. The data is obtained from the test of writing a Javanese paragraph using aspects of knowledge and skills. Students can know and understand how to write paragraphs in Javanese appropriately.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of ability of class VIII students of SMPN 2 Plantungan Kendal regency in writing news text. This is due to the low interest in learning and understanding of students in writing, especially writing news text. The learning used by the teacher is considered less interesting and less innovative so that learning is considered boring. The teacher’s lack of understanding in utilizing learning media is one of the factors causing teachers difficulties in using various online based learning media, one of which is the Powtoon Media. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the use of Powtoon media in order to improve students’ learning to write news text for grade VIII SMPN 2 Plantungan Kabupaten Kendal. This study used descriptive qualitative methoed. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, documentation, angket and assigment or tes. This test is used to obtain data regarding the level of mastery of the material on the final result value. Based on the results of the research, it shows that there is an increase in the ability through the results of tes that have benn done by studentds. This is evident from the results of the average value of writing the previous news text, that is 70,73. Wrile the results of the average value after using learning with the Powtoon Media that is 81,4.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian akan menjelaskan dan mendeskripsikan aspek mikrostruktural, makrostruktural, dan Struktur Kebahasaan geguritan “Dakentha-entha” karya Mbah Bintik (selanjutnya disingkat GDe). Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data adalah GDe yang termuat pada buku yang berjudul “Tembang dan Puisi Jawa Modern” oleh Prof. Dr. Herman J. Waluyo, M.Pd., dkk. tahun 2012, halaman 117. Data penelitian adalah teks geguritan GDe. Data dikumpulan dengan metode baca dan catat. Teknik analisis data menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode agih dan padan. Metode agih untuk mengaji kohesi dan struktur kebahasaan wacana, sedangkan metode padan digunakan untuk mengkaji konteks. Validasi data penelitan menggunakan trianggulasi data. Setelah data dianalisis kemudian diinterpretasi dan diklasifikasi sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian serta membuat simpulan. Hasil dan kesimpulan dari penelitan ini adalah (1) Aspek mikrostruktural GDe terdiri dari kohesi gramatikal maupun leksikal. Kohesi gramatikal terdiri atas referensi (pengacuan), substitusi (penyulihan), elepsis (pelesapan) dan konjungsi (perangkaian), sedangkan kohesi leksikal terdiri dari repetisi (pengulangan), sinonimi (padan kata), kolokasi (sanding kata), dan hiponimi. (2) Aspek makrostruktural GDe dapat dirunut melalui prinsip penafsiran personal, prinsip penafsiran lokasional, prinsip penafsiran temporal dan prinsip analogi. (3) struktur kebahasaan dalam geguritan GDe adalah imajinasi/ citraan penglihatan, citraan gerakan, citraan penciuman, majas pesonifikasi, majas metafora; serta rima terdiri dari rima dalam baris (larik atau kalimat) dan rima antar baris.Kata kunci : geguritan, wacana, mikrostruktural, makrostruktural, struktur kebahasaan. ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is to explain and describe the microstructural, macrostructural, and linguistic structure aspects of geguritan "Dakentha-entha" by Mbah Bintik (hereinafter abbreviated as GDe). This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data source is GDe which is contained in a book entitled "Modern Javanese Tembang and Poetry" by Prof. Dr. Herman J. Waluyo, M.Pd., et al. 2012, page 117. The research data is GDe geguritan text. Data is collected by read and record method. Data analysis techniques use two methods, namely the distribution method and the matching method. The agih method examines the cohesion and linguistic structure of discourse, while the equivalent method is used to examine context. Research data validation uses data triangulation. After the data is analyzed, it is then interpreted and classified according to the research objectives and makes conclusions. The results and conclusions of this research are (1) The microstructural aspects of GDe consist of grammatical and lexical cohesion. Grammatical cohesion consists of references, substitutions, elepsis and conjunctions, while lexical cohesion consists of repetition, synonymy, collocation, and hyponymy. (2) The macrostructural aspects of GDe can be traced through personal interpretation principles, locational interpretation principles, temporal interpretation principles and analogy principles. (3) the linguistic structure in Geguritan GDe is imagination/visual imagery, movement imagery, olfactory imagery, personification figure of speech, metaphorical figure of speech; and rhyme consists of rhyme in lines (arrays or sentences) and rhyme between lines.Keywords: geguritan, discourse, microstructural, macrostructural, linguistic structure.
