Abstract

Mata ajar sastra memang merupakan mata ajar yang membingungkan bagi sebagian guru, Bahkan masih banyak yang memandang sebelah mata pada mata ajar ini. Mata ajar sastra harus didudukkan sejajar dengan mata ajar lain. Artinya, mata ajar ini harus memiliki relevansi dengan dunia nyata. Pengajaran sastra harus diupayakan bisa memberikan sumbangan yang besar untuk memecahkan masalah-masalah nyata yang cukup sulit dipecahkan di dalam masyarakat. Sastra tradisional Jawa menurut isinya secara garis besar dapat dibedakan menjadi dua, yaitu sastra yang berisi kisah dan sastra yang berisi petuah. Dua kekuatan yang dimiliki sastra tradisional ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh guru untuk membina watak peserta didik dengan metode yang bervariasi. Sastra tradisional Jawa yang sering diajarkan di sekolah menengah meliputi puisi bebas (geguritan) dan puisi terikat (sastra gumathok), cerita wayang, cerita rakyat, dan crita cekak. Sebagai contoh kasus dalam strategi pengajaran sastra tradisional ini dipilih pengajaran tembang, khususnya macapat, sebagai bagian dari sastra gumathok. Materi ajar tembang ini cukup representatif untuk melatih empat keterampilan berbahasa. Beberapa strategi yang bisa dimanfaatkan oleh para guru bahasa Jawa di sekolah menengah dalam pembelajaran tembang di antaranya adalah strategi bermain kata dan strategi bermain nada.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of male domination in the collection of the crita cekak of the Janji Sejati by Kustri Sumiyardhana. The research method in this study is qualitative research. The source of the research data is a collection of crita cekak Janji Sejati by Kustri Sumiyardhana by choosing six cerkak. They are Nalika Srengenge Anglsup, Primbon, Janji Sejati, Pegatan, Dhukuhe Sumar and Nulung. The data are in the form of phrases, clauses, and sentences that contain elements of forms of male domination. The data collection technique used a document study with the stages of reading and taking notes. This study uses data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data display and data verification. The theoretical study chosen is the study of feminism with a focus on forms of male domination.The results obtained by this study found that there are forms of male domination in the collection of crita cekak Janji Sejati by Kustri Sumiyardhana, namely subordination or unimportance, stereotypes or negative labeling, violence including physical violence, psychological violence, sexual violence and economic violence. Forms of male domination occur in the family, community and public spheres

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to describe the role of women experienced by characters in Tulus Setiyadi novel Cinencang Lawe. As the author, Tulus Setiyadi describes the role of women in the novel Cinencang Lawe. The method used in this writing is qualitative research. The research data is in the form of words, phrases, sentences, and discourses which contain elements regarding the role of women. The theory used is feminism with a focus on the role of women and their efforts in dealing with problems. The techniques used in this research are reading and note taking techniques. The results of this study are there are two roles of women in each character in the novel Cinencang Lawe, namely the domestic role in the household and the public role in society and the social sphere as described Darmini, Lik Wiji, Mbok Yem,  Juragan Lamini dan Ibu Narji.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to uncover the moral sessages contained in the text of the Suluk Tanén. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative. The analysis technique in this research is content analysis and philological studies using a standard edition of a single text editing method. The result of this research is the text of Suluk Tanén containing moral messages about how to achieve a perfect life the teachings contained therein are the teachings of perfection of life to attain the great manunggaling kawula Gusti. In the text Suluk Tanén explains the deepening of the mind as an effort to reach the level of perfection including the sarengat, tarekat, hakekat, and makrifat so that a servant gets a peace so that it can show that our has actually lived. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pesan moral yang terkandung dalam teks Suluk Tanén. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini adalah analisis konten dan kajian filologi dengan metode penyuntingan teks tunggal edisi standar. Hasil penelitian ini ialah teks Suluk Tanѐn  berisi ajaran moral tentang bagaimana cara mencapai hidup yang sempurna. Ajaran yang terkandung di dalamnya merupakan ajaran-ajaran kesempurnaan hidup untuk mencapai makrifat manunggaling kawula Gusti. Di dalam teks Suluk Tanѐn menjelaskan pendalaman batin sebagai upaya untuk menempuh tingkatan kesempurnaan meliputi sarengat (syariat), tarekat, hakekat dan makrifat agar manusia (seorang hamba) mendapatkan suatu ketentraman sehingga mampu menunjukkan bahwa dirinya telah hidup dengan sebenarnya.

Abstract

Tujuan dari makalah ini adalah mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan moral yang terdapat pada serat Sangu Pati II karya Ki Padma Sujana. Serat tersebut berisi sikap dan watak yang harus dilakukan dalam menjalani perjalanan hidup dari lahir sampai meninggal yaitu ajaran yang harus disiapkan untuk menjalani dunia sampai dengan kehidupan selanjutnya yaitu kehidupan akhirat.  Mengangkat kembali nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran bahasa Daerah melalui pengkajian karya sastra lampau berupa naskah merupakan salah satu upaya penting untuk mendukung kompetensi, kecapakan, dan menanamkan kepedulian peserta didik terhadap diri sendiri, sesama, dan Tuhan. Karya sastra Jawa dengan nilai–nilai kearifan lokal memiliki kontribusi besar terhadap kekayaan budaya nasional. Peran pentingnya kebijakan pemerintah dalam membina dan memelihara kekayaan daerah memberikan dampak terhadap kelangsungan nilai-nilai luhur yang terdapat di dalam naskah-naskah Jawa. Dengan mengilhami dan mengaplikasikan nilai pendidikan moral dalam serat Sangu Pati II karya Padma Sujana diharapkan mampu memberikan peran dalam meningkatkan budi pekerti, sehingga mampu mendukung terciptanya bangsa yang bermartabat dan memiliki karakter yang kuat dengan nilai bahasa, sastra, budaya yang adiluhung.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this paper is to fulfill writing lectures and find out what language it is, various kinds of languages that can be used in song lyrics, several languages that will be pleasant to hear and make a beautiful rhythm. And can describe a Javanese song entitled Satru created by Denny Caknan. As a creator, Denny is very experienced and has a high imagination in creating a song that can be popular among the people and the song is a duet song with Happy Asmara who is none other than his former lover. The song is a sad song that describes a person who is jealous of his partner's behavior. From this story, it deserves to be popular, especially among teenagers who are falling in love and the pain of a broken heart. The method used to reveal the meaning and content in this song is descriptive qualitative. Research data in the form of words, sentences, and quotes in the song. The study used is Semiotics which focuses on the meaning in a song. The results of this study are containing various meanings in geguritan which have several meanings but make this song as its own characteristic in it.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the form of Javanese ethics of life in Ki Padmasusastra's Serat Kandha Bumi. Life ethics contains an attitude of life in which there is an attitude of harmony and respect. The life ethics referred to are all Javanese orientations to achieve goals in life as well as in interacting with other humans. Meanwhile, the Javanese referred to are figures in Serat Kandha Bumi whose orientation in life and in their daily lives cannot be separated from elements of Javanese ethics. The method used to reveal the Javanese ethics of life in Serat Kondha Bumi is qualitative. The resulting data is in the form of words; phrase; sentence; and paragraph. The data were obtained from text descriptions in Serat Kondha Bumi which explain the attitudes of Javanese in the form of dialogue, monologue and narration. The theory used is literary sociology with a focus on the ethics of Javanese life. The results of this study are Javanese life ethics in religion which includes pracaya and mituhu attitudes, Javanese life ethics with oneself includes a rila (real) attitude and sabar (patience), and Javanese life ethics in social life including ethok-ethok (dissimulating), wedi (eeriness), and sungkan (hesitate).

Abstract

Tujuan yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan bentuk/wujud dan puncak performativitas Upacara Suro di Kabupaten Magelang. Digunakan kajian performance untuk mengetahui bentuk/wujud dan puncak performativitas Upacara Suro atau Suran. Berdasarkan penelitian, dapat dikemukakan beberapa hal, yaitu Upacara Suran dalam konteks “is” dan “as” performance.Keduanya dipandang secara dramaturgis.Dalam konteks is performance, Upacara Suran merupakan sebuah aktivitas yang memiliki struktur maupun tekstur. Sementara itu, dalam konteks as performance, Upacara Suran dipahami sebagai proses yang terus berjalan dan berubah serta terjadi karena interaksi dari berbagai pihak yang berada dalam tatanan masyarakat secara keseluruhan dan dapat dianggap sebagai usaha pemertahanan dan pelestarian budaya yang melibatkan berbagai unsur untuk mendapatkan legitimasi dari masyarakat yang terlibat dalam praktik upacara.Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa puncak performativitas Upacara Suran merupakan klimaks sebuah social drama, klimaksnya terjadi saat perebutan gunungan. Oleh karena itu, Upacara Suran merupakan sebuah bentuk performance yang memiliki fungsi untuk menjalin solidaritas.

Abstract

This research aims to describe character education in the short story in the textbooks of Prigel Basa Jawa SMA/SMK/MA by Gandung Widaryatmo. This research uses qualitative methods and the approach used is a pragmatic approach. The source of this research data is the short story text that is in the textbook Prigel Basa Jawa SMA/SMK/MA by Gandung Widaryatmo. The data of this research are in the form of sentences or paragraphs that contain character education in the short stories in the textbook. There are three forms of character education in the short story text in the PBJ SMA/SMK/MA textbook by Gandung Widaryatmo. The form of character education includes character values in relation to God, oneself, and others. The character value in relation to God, namely religiosity, is implemented by praying to God. Character values in relation to oneself include six variations of values, namely; independent, disciplined, superior and achievers, tough, honest, and responsible. The value of character in relation to others consists of two variations of values, namely empathy, and helping to help. Thus the character value in relation to oneself has a more dominant variation of values in the short story in Gandung Widaryatmo's PBJ SMA/SMA/MA textbooks.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to explan the significance and function of naming dhapur keris, which holds the names of figures and puppet legancy. The research employed falls under the genre of semantic research, which examines the meaning of a word. In addition and matching algorithms, the applied methodology takes a qualitative descriptive approach. The name of dhapur keris, which comprises the names of characters and the heritage of wayang purwa, was used as the source of data in this study, and data was collected utilizing nterview and documentation procedures. Data reduction prcedures, data presentation, and conclusions are then used to analyze the results. The basic naming of dhapur keris, which contains (1) the name of the figure and (2) the name of wayang purwa legacy based on the meaning and function behind the formation of dhapur keris, was discoverad based on the results of data analysis. Although there are some roles that are comparable between dhapur and oneanother, dhapur keris have various meanings. The meaning behind the construction of dhapur keris Anoman, Bima, Karna, Pandawa, Pasupati, Pulanggeni has aspects of authority (3), dhapur Semar has a close rel ationship with the area of love, leadership, and protection (4), and dhapur Kala, on the other hand, is closely associated with the realm of religion.
