Abstract

This Research aims to identify the role of teachers in developing emotional intelligence in children aged 3-4 years and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in developing emotional intelligence. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used in this research is data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results of the research are: 1) The role of teachers in developing emotional intelligence in early childhood includes five aspects, a) recognizing oneself through a personal approach; b) managing children’s emotions can be done through role playing, discussing cause and effect, and learning the shiroh of the prophet Muhammad SAW; c) Motivating children is done by cultivating a sense of patience; d) Children’s Empathy is carried out through the habit of helping fellow friends, showing respect to friends, and respecting their friends; e) Socials skill are carried out through role playing or cooperative games. 2) The supporting factor is that fellow teachers must have the same principles; cooperation with parents, as well as outside teaching and learning or outing classes, while the inhibiting factors are teachers who are inconsistent, impatient and have no courage towards children.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru dan peran orang tua dalam menanamkan budi pekerti pada TK A PAUD Cendikia di Nanga Ngeri. Penelitian ini penelitian kualitatif deskriptif.Hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) peranan guru dalam penanaman budi pekerti pada anak adalah sebagai pendidik, mengajar dan membimbing, model dan teladan, motivator, pelatih dan penasehat. Peran orang tua dalam menanamkan budi pekerti pada anak sebagai pemimpin, figur panutan, teman, pendidik. (2) Faktor pendorong di lingkungan keluarga adalah dukungan orang tua dan lingkungan masyarakat, sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah pribadi anak dan figur orang tua yang tidak mampu memberikan keteladanan pada anak. (3) Upaya guru dan orang tua dalam menanamkan budi pekerti pada anak TK A PAUD Cendikia dalam menanamkan budi pekerti pada anak dengan mengajarakan anak berdoa, disiplin, jujur, demokratis, komunikasi, sedangkan upaya orang tua berusaha mendengarkan anak dengan baik, berusaha memahami tipe emosional anak dan introgasi anak dengan baik.Kata Kunci  : peran guru dan orang tua, budi pekertiABSTRACTThis study to describe the role of parents in instilling manners in TK A PAUD Cendikia in Nanga Ngeri. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of the study obtainned (1)the role of the teacher in instiling character in children is as an educator, teaching and guiding role models, motivators, trainers and advisors. The role of parents in intilling good manners in children as leaders, role models for educators (2) The driving factors in the family enviroment are the support of parents and the community environment and parental figures who are unable to set an exampel for children (3) Efforts of teachers and parents in instilling manners in children PAUD Cendikia in intilling manner in children by teaching children to pray, discipline, honest, democratic, communicative, while the efforts of parent are trying listen to the child carefully, trying to understand the emotional type chilfren and child interrogation properly.Keywords: role of teacher and parents, manners

Abstract

Early writing skills can be improved since children are in the golden age period, namely when they are at the age of 1–5 years. This study aims to improve writing skills in children aged 4-5 through cutting activities in mystery box games in kindergarten. The approach used in this study is qualitative using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The subjects of this study were 15 children in group A of TK Islam Plus Al Aysar. The data collection technique that will be used is the observation technique. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The study's result showed that early writing skills in early childhood in the 4-5 year age group can be developed through cutting activities in mystery box games. Writing skills in children in group A of TK Islam Plus Al-Aysar in cycle I were 53.33%, namely at the beginning of the development stage, and 33% were in the category stage of developing according to expectations. In cycle II, the results obtained were 13.33% at the beginning of the development stage, 66.67% at the stage of development according to expectations, and 20% at the BSB level (Very Well Developed). The results of the study indicate that the cutting activity through the mystery box game has been effective in improving the early writing skills of group A children at TK Islam Plus Al Aysar, namely 86.67% in the category of Developing According to Expectations and Developing Very Well
