Abstract

This research examines the influence of religiosity, risk perception, attitude, and the e- Filing system on tax compliance intention of individual taxpayers in filing Annual Tax Returns in DKI Jakarta Province. The study aims to analyze the relationships between these variables in the context of digital transformation in Indonesian tax administration. The research employs a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis technique. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 155 individual taxpayers in DKI Jakarta. The results show that religiosity and risk perception significantly influence taxpayers' attitudes, and these attitudes directly affect tax compliance intention. However, religiosity and risk perception do not have a direct effect on tax compliance intention. The research also finds that the e- Filing system does not moderate the relationships between religiosity, risk perception, and attitude toward tax compliance intention. These findings indicate that taxpayers' attitudes serve as the primary mediator in determining tax compliance intention. This research provides theoretical contributions to the development of a tax compliance model that integrates personal and technological factors. Practically, the results can serve as input for the Directorate General of Taxes in formulating tax policies that focus on developing positive taxpayer attitudes, strengthening tax education, and improving the e-Filing system to enhance tax compliance in Indonesia.

Abstract

Risk management plays a crucial role strategy for MSMEs because it can help them face operational challenges, minimize losses, and maintain business sustainability. This study aims to analyze risk management in Rumah Donat SMEs in Lenteng District, Sumenep, by adapting the ISO 31000 framework. The methods used are a qualitative approach through surveys, observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. In addition, data analysis was carried out using the Miles & Huberman model combined with the preparation of a risk register and risk matrix. The results of the study identified four main risk categories, namely operational risks (increase in raw material prices, low product durability), strategic risks (limitations in digital promotion, seasonal market competition), human resource risks (lack of employee management), and natural and environmental risks (instability of raw material supply, power outages). Probability and impact analysis showed that seasonal market competition had the highest level of risk, followed by limitations in digital promotion. The proposed mitigation recommendations included establishing cooperation with suppliers, product innovation, employee training, expanding online marketing, improving business management, and developing a framework to address environmental risks. The study seeks to provide valuable contributions to theory as well as practical guidance for MSMEs in managing risks effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of internal organizational aspects on the willingness of employees to remain or resign from their jobs. The study focuses on Generation Z workers employed in the production division of PT Rajawali Cakra Sakti. Using a quantitative survey approach, data were gathered from 150 respondents selected randomly and assessed through a Likert-type questionnaire. Data analysis employed multiple regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that job satisfaction tends to reduce turnover intention, although the effect is not statistically significant. On the other hand, organizational climate and organizational support show clear and significant negative relationships with turnover intention. Together, the three variables explain a substantial portion of employees’ tendency to leave, underlining their relevance for human resource strategies aimed at workforce retention.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has transformed consumer behavior, particularly among Generation Z as the most active digital users. This study aims to investigate the effect of social media marketing activities (SMMA) on brand trust and brand image and their subsequent impact on purchase intention. A quantitative descriptive-causal design was applied, using purposive sampling with 140 respondents from Generation Z in the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) area. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings reveal that SMMA positively influences brand trust and brand image, which in turn enhance purchase intention. These results highlight the importance for e-commerce businesses to implement effective social media strategies that build trust and a positive brand image among Generation Z.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in driving national economic growth, making efforts to improve their performance crucial. This study, conducted on MSME actors in Tanjung Redeb District using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach, shows that financial literacy and financial inclusion are the main factors influencing MSME performance. These two aspects not only encourage business owners to be more willing to take calculated risks but also strengthen their ability to manage capital, plan their businesses, and innovate in the face of business challenges. This finding confirms that increased financial literacy and inclusion have both direct and indirect impacts on optimizing MSME performance through healthier and more strategic risk-taking. Therefore, the results of this research can serve as a reference for MSME actors to continue developing their financial competencies through training and utilizing various sources of information, both from financial institutions, the government, and digital platforms, to strengthen competitiveness and maintain business sustainability amidst increasingly dynamic competition.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of work environment, leadership style, and job stress on employee performance at PT. Sinar Eka Selaras. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method and non-probability purposive sampling technique involving 110 respondents. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results show that the work environment significantly contributes to improving employee performance. Leadership style is proven to have a positive influence on employee performance. Job stress, however, does not show a significant effect on performance within this model. Collectively, work environment, leadership style, and job stress simultaneously explain 43.7% of the variance in employee performance, while the remaining 56.3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Leadership style emerges as the most significant factor affecting performance. The work environment also shows a significant effect, although to a more moderate extent compared to leadership style. Job stress, in this study, does not have a direct significant impact on employee performance. These findings enrich the human resource management literature—particularly in the context of the public sector and retail technology—while providing a data-driven basis for corporate policy formulation.

Abstract

Limited career development opportunities in the workplace can lead to decreased self-efficacy and employee engagement, thereby affecting overall workforce stability and organizational performance. Therefore, companies need to understand the role of work life balance and work motivation in maintaining employee stability and performance. This study aims to examine the effect of work life balance and work motivation on employee engagement, with self-efficacy serving as a mediating variable among employees of PT PLN Indonesia Power Maintenance Service Unit. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method, distributing questionnaires to 117 respondents, who are permanent employees at the KS Tubun branch. A saturated sampling technique was used for sample selection. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results show that self-efficacy plays a full mediating role in the relationship between work life balance and employee engagement. On the other hand, work motivation does not have a significant indirect effect on employee engagement through self-efficacy, but it has a significant direct effect on employee engagement. These findings indicate that employees' confidence in self-efficacy is a key factor in enhancing their engagement with the organization. The study recommends that company management strengthen work life balance programs and create greater opportunities for career development to support sustainable improvements in self-efficacy and employee engagement.
