Abstract

                This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation and interest rates on the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) as the main indicator of the capital market in Indonesia in the 2019-2023 period. JCI reflects the dynamics of the stock market which is influenced by various macroeconomic factors. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis, utilizing secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The results showed that inflation has a significant positive effect on the JCI, while interest rates have no significant effect. The classical assumption test ensures that the regression model used is valid and reliable. Based on the analysis, inflation and interest rates together explain 26% of the variability of the JCI, while the rest is influenced by other factors. In conclusion, inflation plays an important role in influencing the JCI, making it a major concern for investors and policymakers.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether Job Satisfaction and Work Motivation towards Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) simultaneously affect Employees of the Environmental and Forestry Agency of Gorontalo Province. The data collection technique employed in this study was a questionnaire with a population of all Civil Servants (PNS) of the Environmental and Forestry Agency of Gorontalo Province or 77 employees in total. In the meantime, the samples were determined using total sampling due to the population was relatively small. The analytical test tool used in testing this research was multiple linear regression. The data analysis method used the SPSS 26 application. Based on the findings, the multiple refression analysis test result indicated that the simultaneous test of the variables of Job Satisfaction and Work Motivation had a moderate (not strong) effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. In detail, the effect recorded was 0.758 or 75.8%. Meanwhile, the remaining 0.24.2 or 24.2% was affected by other variables not examined in the study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of visual branding on consumer buying interest among students of University X. The research method used is a quantitative method with 100 respondents selected by random sampling. Data was collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed with the help of SPSS software and Smart PLS 4 software. The results of this study show that visual branding has a significant influence on the buying interest of State University X students, that 55% of students' buying interest is influenced by visual branding, which includes design elements such as logos, colors, and typography. Visual branding plays an important role in creating a strong image and building consumer trust, which ultimately improves purchasing decisions. Therefore, it is important for companies to pay attention to visual branding elements in their marketing strategies to create a more immersive and memorable consumer experience.

Abstract

Effective communication plays a crucial role in fostering healthy and productive relationships, both in personal and professional contexts. Miscommunication or lack of clear interaction often leads to misunderstandings, conflict, and reduced collaboration. This study investigates the impact of effective communication strategies on relationship quality and productivity, with the aim of identifying key elements that enhance interaction and understanding. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research integrates quantitative surveys to measure communication effectiveness and qualitative interviews to gain deeper insights into participants’ experiences. The study was conducted across diverse settings, including workplaces and interpersonal relationships, ensuring a comprehensive analysis of the phenomenon. The findings highlight that clarity, active listening, empathy, and feedback are critical components in effective communication. Participants who engaged in these practices reported improved trust, reduced conflicts, and enhanced collaborative outcomes. Additionally, the results suggest that communication training significantly enhances these skills, leading to better relational and organizational performance. This research concludes that effective communication is not only pivotal in resolving conflicts and fostering harmony but also in driving productivity and goal achievement. By providing evidence-based strategies and emphasizing the importance of communication in building relationships, this study contributes to the field by offering practical frameworks for individuals and organizations to enhance their interaction dynamics. The insights gained underline the transformative potential of effective communication, paving the way for more harmonious and efficient social and professional environments.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of search engine optimization, integrated marketing communication, perceived value, and the tricomponent attitude model on purchasing decisions for Lenovo laptop products. This research was conducted on the Lenovo Indonesia Facebook community. This type of research uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach, with questionnaires distributed as a data collection technique. The sampling method used purposive sampling, namely a technique with the aim of conducting research, the sample used was 100 respondents through distributing questionnaires. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, and the data processing used is statistical analysis in the form of SPSS 25.0. Based on the results of this research, it can be seen that search engine optimization has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, integrated marketing communication has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, perceived value has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, and the tricomponent attitude model has a positive and significant effect. significant impact on purchasing decisions, and simultaneously search engine optimization, integrated marketing communication, perceived value, and tricomponent attitude model influence purchasing decisions in the Lenovo Indonesia Facebook community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employee turnover intention at PT Gemilang Succes Bersatu. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach, data collected through a Likert scale-based questionnaire. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression to determine the relationship between job satisfaction variables and turnover intention.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of visual merchandising implementation at the Pasuruan City Expo (PCE) event as a strategy to increase consumer purchasing interest at PT Bintang Permata Sejati. The research method uses a descriptive approach through direct observation during a five-month internship. Visual merchandising was applied in booth design, discount promotions, and the use of QRIS payment technology. The results of the study show that this strategy successfully increased purchasing interest by 35%, with the main contributing factors being aesthetic elements, discount promotions, and customer service. This study provides practical guidance for business practitioners in optimizing visual marketing at promotional events.

Abstract

Analog attendance systems are still widely used in various companies as a tool to record employee attendance. This study aims to analyze the level of work discipline among employees using analog attendance systems. The research data was collected through interviews with several employees, direct observation, and analysis of employee attendance reports at PT. Sumber Mas Indah Plywood over a specific period. The results of the study show that analog attendance systems have several major weaknesses, such as being prone to data manipulation like proxy attendance, inaccuracies in manual recording, and the loss or damage of attendance cards. Moreover, this system is considered inefficient as the manual recording process takes more time and does not support real-time monitoring of discipline. These weaknesses negatively impact employee discipline levels and the overall productivity of the company. The conclusion of this study is that the use of analog attendance systems is not effective in improving employee work discipline or in optimally managing attendance data. Therefore, the company is advised to consider upgrading to modern technology-based attendance systems, such as face recognition, to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and overall management of employee discipline.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and product quality on customer satisfaction at Pandan Wangi Catering. The type of research conducted is quantitative research. The population and sample in this study consist of 132 customers of Pandan Wangi Catering, using primary data collected through purposive sampling methods. The criteria for respondents in this study are individual or institutional customers who have placed orders at Pandan Wangi Catering during the 2021–2023 period and have made more than one purchase. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that: 1) Service quality and product quality collectively have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Pandan Wangi Catering, confirming the first hypothesis of this research. 2) Service quality individually has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Pandan Wangi Catering in Bantul, confirming the second hypothesis of this research. 3) Product quality individually has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Pandan Wangi Catering, confirming the third hypothesis of this research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Love of Money and Family Conditions on Entrepreneurial Interest with Religious Support as a Mediating Variable from an Islamic Business Perspective in the Fishermen Community in Kangkung Village, South Teluk Betung District, Bandar Lampung. The research was conducted considering the low interest in entrepreneurship among the fishing community, where the majority (78%) of the 50 pre-survey respondents were not interested in entrepreneurship. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research population is the fishing community in Kangkung Village, with the sample determined based on specific criteria. The research variables include Love of Money and Family Conditions as independent variables, Entrepreneurial Interest as the dependent variable, and Religious Support as the mediating variable. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with a measurement scale. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach to test the relationships between variables and the mediating role of Religious Support. The research results are expected to provide theoretical contributions in understanding the factors that influence entrepreneurial interest among fishing communities, as well as practical contributions in the form of recommendations for economic empowerment strategies based on the Islamic business perspective.
