Abstract

Every employee needs a leader who can create a great work atmosphere and increase motivation because motivated employees perform better and meet company objectives more rapidly. This study aims to determine the positive and noteworthy impacts of leadership style and motivation on staff performance at PTPN IV Unit Bukit Lima, Simalungun Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach. The number of samples for the random sampling technique was calculated using the Slovin formula of 222 employees. Primary data collected through the distribution of surveys and secondary data with documentation were among the data sources. This study makes use of path analysis using SPSS 26.0 software. The results show that leadership style, work environment, and motivation all have a positive and significant impact on employee performance at PTPN IV Bukit Lima Unit, Simalungun Regency. At a significance threshold of 0.05, the t-values for leadership style (3,381), work environment (5,666), and motivation (7,380) are all slightly higher than the t-table (1,97190). Additionally, simultaneous analysis shows that the Fvalue (595,616) is greater than the Ftabel (3,88), suggesting that all four variables combine to have a large and positive impact on employee performance. Based on the coefficient of determination test, the variables Leadership Style, Work Environment, and Motivation have a positive and significant impact on Employee Performance, making up 86.3% of the total, as indicated by the Adjusted R Square value of 0.863. Other factors not covered in this study have an impact on the remaining 13.7%.

Abstract

The application of the values of tauhid in entrepreneurship is an essential step in creating ethical and responsible business practices, particularly in a society with a Muslim majority, ensuring a balance between worldly interests and spiritual values. Furthermore, the integration of tauhid values can enhance public trust, which fosters the creation of sustainable and high-quality businesses. One example of this is the craft of sapu injuk, which carries local values and is oriented towards sustainability through the economic empowerment of the local community and the use of environmentally friendly raw materials. This study adopts a qualitative approach with a case study method, focusing on a broom-making entrepreneur in Kampung Muaradua, Desa Muaradua, Kadudampit District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java Province. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis, aiming to explore the entrepreneur's perspectives and experiences in applying the values of Al-Tauhid in their business. The results of the study show that the entrepreneur implements Al-Tauhid principles by maintaining honesty in product quality, setting fair prices, and building respectful and responsible relationships with employees and business partners. Furthermore, they view their business as a form of worship, aiming not only for profit but also to bring blessings and provide social benefits to the surrounding community, especially through the empowerment of local labor. The application of Al-Tauhid values in this sapu injuk business has proven to have a positive impact, both in enhancing customer loyalty and in strengthening harmonious relationships with employees and the community. This study emphasizes that Al-Tauhid values can serve as a foundation for creating sustainable, ethical, and socially impactful businesses, encouraging Muslim entrepreneurs to prioritize spiritual values in their business practices in order to achieve blessings and long-term business success.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative, causal associative research approach to examine the impact of Brand Ambassador, Online Customer Review, and Digital Marketing on Hansui product purchases among Halmahera University students. Data were gathered via a questionnaire with 44 students who had previously purchased Hansui products as respondents. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression, validity, reliability, F, and t tests. The findings indicated that all three independent variables simultaneously had a substantial influence on purchase decisions, with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.838. Purchase decisions were significantly influenced by digital marketing and online customer reviews, whereas brand ambassadors had no discernible influence. Business actors can use this study as a strategic guidance when developing targeted promotions, and it contributes to the body of literature on digital marketing.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of workload and stress levels on teacher performance at SMP N 1 Sei Rampah. The number of respondents in this study was 34 people. In this research, the sampling technique used was Total Sampling. The type of research employed is quantitative research, which is based on positivist philosophy and used to study a specific population or sample. Data collection utilized research instruments, and data analysis was quantitative/statistical, aiming to test the established hypotheses. The data analysis tool used in this study was SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). The results of the study indicate that: workload does not affect teacher performance at SMP N 1 Sei Rampah. Work stress does not affect teacher performance at SMP N 1 Sei Rampah. Workload and work stress do not have an effect. Jointly (simultaneously) against the Teacher Performance at SMP N 1 Sei Rampah.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of perception of organizational politics, emotional intelligence, and transformational leadership on job performance through the mediating role of job satisfaction. The approach in this research uses quantitative research. Sample collection in this study used a purposive sampling method so that there were 270 respondents in this study. The population of this sample is employees at staff level who work in manufacturing companies, who have become permanent employees, have worked for at least 2 years, and are located in the Tangerang, Jakarta, Bekasi areas. The data analysis technique in this research is using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The findings in this study show that emotional intelligence, transformational leadership and perception of organizational politics are positively related to job performance. emotional intelligence, transformational leadership, and perception of organizational politics are positively related to job satisfaction. Meanwhile, job satisfaction mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and job performance. And finally, job satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between emotional intelligence, job performance and perception of organizational politics. This research provides useful managerial implications for improving human resources, which good companies can apply in developing training programs to improve employee skills, especially for young employees (20-25 years).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style and competence on the performance of finance department employees at RSUD Cibinong. The research employed a quantitative method with a population and sample of 40 employees. Data collection techniques included observation and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, multiple regression, multiple correlation, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that leadership style had a very strong relationship with performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.883 and a determination coefficient of 78%. The resulting regression equation was Y = 7.865 + 0.871X1, indicating a positive and significant influence of leadership style on performance. The t-test showed that the t-value was 3.340 > t-table 2.024, confirming the significance of this effect. Competence also had a strong relationship with performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.767 and a determination coefficient of 58.8%. The regression equation obtained was Y = 12.930 + 0.560X2. The t-test result showed a t-value of 11.386 > t-table 2.024, indicating that competence had a significant influence on performance. Simultaneously, leadership style and competence had a very strong relationship with performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.825 and a determination coefficient of 68%. The multiple regression equation was Y = 13.276 + 0.319X1 + 0.564X2. The F-test result showed that the F-value was 63.782 > F-table 3.25, indicating that both independent variables together had a significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

Improving the performance of health workers is a key focus in hospital management, especially amidst increasing demands for public health services. Ciawi Regional Public Hospital (RSUD) in Bogor Regency, as a referral health facility, faces challenges in maintaining service quality while dealing with limited human resources and high workloads. The phenomenon of heavy workloads and the need for servant leadership and a supportive organizational culture underlies the importance of this study. This research aims to analyze the influence of Servant Leadership and Organizational Culture on the Performance of Health Workers at Ciawi RSUD. The study uses a quantitative method with data collected through literature review and questionnaires distributed to respondents. The population in this study consists of 441 nurses at RSUD Ciawi, with a sample size of 110 nurses selected using proportional random sampling. Data were analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression, correlation analysis, and coefficient of determination. The results show that Servant Leadership has a moderate relationship with health worker performance, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.587 and a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.345, indicating that 34.5% of performance is influenced by Servant Leadership. Meanwhile, Organizational Culture shows a strong relationship with performance, with R = 0.744 and R² = 0.553, meaning 55.3% of performance is influenced by Organizational Culture. Simultaneously, Servant Leadership and Organizational Culture significantly affect health worker performance with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.782 and R² = 0.611, indicating that 61.1% of performance is jointly determined by these two variables, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of marketing communication strategies on consumer purchase decisions on digital wallet services. An effective marketing communication strategy is a key factor in increasing consumer interest and purchase decisions in today's digital era. The research method used is a quantitative method with data collection through a questionnaire survey to a number of respondents who use digital financial services. The results of the study show that marketing communication strategies that include advertising, sales promotion, direct marketing, social media communication, and personal sales have a significant influence on consumer purchase decisions. These findings indicate that the use of the right communication strategy can increase consumer understanding of digital wallet services and encourage positive purchase decisions. The study concludes that digital financial service providers need to design targeted and measurable marketing communication strategies to maximize consumer purchase decisions. The practical implications of this study can be used as a guide for digital wallet industry players in designing more effective marketing campaigns in the future.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the impact of taxation knowledge, quality of tax authorities' services, taxpayer awareness and tax sanctions on the compliance of MSME taxpayers in Cakung Timur Village. The quantitative method is the type of research chosen in this study. Grand theory research uses attribution theory. This study uses primary data obtained from respondents' answers to statements given in the form of a questionnaire. The research population consists of all Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) taxpayers registered at Jakpreneur under the guidance of the East Jakarta Small and Medium Enterprise Development Centre (PPUKM) Office, totaling 264 business actors. The sample of this study amounted to 73 respondents who were determined based on predetermined criteria, in other words the sampling method used was purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 27 software. Data analysis was applied to descriptive statistics tests, test validity, test reliability, classical assumption tests for model suitability in tests (F test), this test section, (t) tests, and analysis with multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the variables of tax knowledge, fiscal service quality, and tax payer awareness have a positive effect on tax compliance. On the other hand, tax sanctions have no effect on the level of taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

The negative impacts caused by the use of motor vehicles powered by fossil fuels on the environment have become an increasingly urgent global issue. This study aims to identify the factors that influence the purchase intention of electric vehicles in Indonesia, specifically in the Jakarta area. using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), along with five additional external factors: price value, perceived risk, environmental awareness, infrastructure availability, and finansial incentive policy. This research uses a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. Region in this study included the people in Jakarta and is surrounding areas who have been exposed to information about electric cars and have basic knowledge about environmentally friendly vehicle technology, totaling 240 respondetns. To obtain the appropriate number of respondents, data collection was carried out through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The results of the study show that Perceived Usefulness, Attitude, Perceived Risk, Environmental Awareness, and Financial Incentive Policy significantly influence Purchase Intention. However, Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use do not affect Attitude; Subjective Norms, Perceived Behavioral Control, and Price Value do not significantly influence Purchase Intention for electric vehicles. Price Value affects Attitude, Environmental Awareness influences both Perceived Usefulness and Subjective Norms, while Infrastructure Availability has no significant effect on Purchase Intention for electric vehicles.
