Abstract

A mosque or masjid is a place for muslims to pray. At-Taqwa mosque is the mosque of Galeh village and its existence is important for the villagers. However, due to many defects (damages) and limited capacity, the number of visitors is decreasing. A design recommendation was proposed by the study programme of Civil Infrastructure Engineering and Architectural Design, Department of Civil and Planning, Vocational School, Diponegoro University, through a community service programme. Using neo-vernacular concept design, five primary aspects were performed i.e. combining the concept of local roof and dome, applying symmetrical patterns for the façade, using roosters as wall opening in order to create geometrical patterns, adding the mosque’s tower, and terras that surrounding the mosque

Abstract

Market driven increasing of fried and roasted cashew nut leads UD. Tiga Saudara to increase its capacity. Improvement of production equipments is one of the effort. Therefore IDBU programme aims to increase the capacity by modification of tray-type-oven, oil-drain spinner, and faster packing machine/sealer. A comprehensive steps is needed to achieve the IDBU programme target, those are: (i) design and fabrication of 20 kg/batch tray-type-oven with ON/OFF temperature control, (ii) design and fabrication of 7,5 kg/batch spinner, (iii) design and fabrication of 200 pack/hour conveyor-sealer, and (iv) realability of the machine. Implementation result of this programme are able to increase the processing capacity of cashew nuts up to 50%

Abstract

[Title: A design approach to developt the swimming pool area in Dukuh village, sub-district of Tangen, district of Sragen] Tourism activities are an inseparable part of societies and are expected to be the income for the regions. Dukuh village is one of the villages in the sub-district of Tangen, district of Sragen. Nowadays, Dukuh village attemps to develop its nature potencies which is one of them is the area of swimming pool. A design recommendation was proposed by the study programme of Civil Infrastructure Engineering and Architectural Design, Department of Civil and Planning, Vocational School, Diponegoro University, through a community service programme. There were three design approaches in this program. First, creating zoning of the swimming pool area by dividing the area into three main zones i.e. public, private, and services areas. Second, designing the landscape with hard and soft materials. Adding many trees in order to provide shaded areas for visitors. Third, providing good supporting facilities such as gazebo, sitting group, and cafeteria.

Abstract

UMKM ”Bozza” merupakan salah satu UMKM di Desa Meteseh Kecamatan Boja Kabupaten Kendal dengan produksi berupa minuman kesehatan dan jamu dalam bentuk ekstrak dan serbuk instan, salah satunya adalah sari jahe instan. Proses produksi sari jahe instan UMKM ini masih bersifat konvensional, mulai dari pemarutan, pemerasan, kristalisasi, penggilingan, pengayakan hingga pengemasannya. Demikian juga pada proses produksi minuman ekstrak masih terkendala pasturisasi dan sterilisasi dengan cara perebusan konvensional sehingga tidak ada kontrol maupun kendali suhu yang mengakibatkan kualitas dan higienitasnya tidak terjamin. Oleh karena itu, adanya solusi dengan menerapkembangkan teknologi berbasis riset agar dapat berkembang lebih baik. Aplikasi alat berbasis riset berupa alat presto dengan konsep hidrotermal subkritis yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produktivitas rempah-rempah. Melalui alat ini, senyawa bioaktif gingerol, shogaol, paradol dan zingeron dari jahe akan meningkat sehingga memiliki efek farmakologi seperti: meningkatkan imunitas, antikanker, antioksidan, antikarsinogenik dan antiosteoporosis. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan produktivitas UKM minuman rempah melalui pengembangan aplikasi teknologi tepat guna, berupa alat presto dengan konsep hidrotermal subkritis. Kegiatan PUPS dilakukan secara terintegrasi, sinergis, dan melembaga antara Sekolah Vokasi UNDIP dan SMK Negeri 3 Kendal serta mitra UMKM Bozza.

Abstract

Losari is a village in Sumowono District, Semarang Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. This village is located on the slopes of Mount Ungaran, do not be surprised if the temperature around the village is cold. Losari Village is also known as an agropolitan village because of its abundant potential for agricultural products, especially vegetables. One of the abundant vegetable production is carrots. Carrots that are ready for harvest are usually sold directly by farmers to middlemen and traders in the market. So there is no diversification of processed products from carrots which are made into other processed food products that have a higher value than selling fresh carrots. Especially when there is an abundance of carrot production in the village, the selling price of carrots is very cheap. So the creativity of the residents is needed in diversifying processed food products from carrots. One way is to process carrots into carrot crackers. Carrot crackers have high nutritional value. It is hoped that the diversification of processed carrot cracker food products will increase creativity in processing natural resources independently in the village and the economy of local residents. Slicer is a slicing tool that can cut ingredients such as cracker dough in large quantities and in a short time. It is hoped that with this slicer the slicing of the cracker dough can take place quickly, practically and hygienically.

Abstract

In infrastructure planning in the village, the village government follows the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages and Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 113 of 2014 concerning Village Financial Management. The problem that then arises is that, in several villages, the quality of existing human resources does not support the planning of village facilities and infrastructure independently. In this community service activity, the Team will collaborate with Denanyar Village officials, Tangen District, Sragen Regency to assist in planning public facilities such as mosques. It is hoped that planning a mosque in Denanyar Village will assist the village government in preparing infrastructure that accommodates the needs of the community, especially in worship.

Abstract

Potensi, peluang dan keunggulan-keunggulan desa Banaran belum mampu menggerakkan ekonomi kerakyatan secara maksimal. Beberapa potensi dan keunggulan lain desa Banaran Cepogo Boyolali meliputi pertanian dataran tinggi, peninggalan sejarah, seni dan budaya, pemandangan alam, waduk/embung dan potensi jasa juga belum digarap secara terintegrasi. Realisasi kegiatan pengabdian di mitra Pokdarwis pada prinsipnya dilakukan dengan penguatan industri ukir tembaga dan wisata sekitar embung. Pengembangan wisata di sekitar embung diprioritaskan penanaman tanaman hias dan buah. Tanaman pucuk merah dan buah terutama mangga merupakan tanaman yang mudah ditanam dan berkhasiat cukup banyak di bidang kesehatan

Abstract

Penerapan kecanggihan teknologi di era digital memudahkan dalam semua urusan di berbagai aspek. Internet merupakan suatu teknologi digital yang sangat populer yang saat ini digunakan untuk mengelola administrasi usaha dan pemasaran bagi pelaku usaha.  Istilah ini populer dengan E-Commerce. Di bidang administrasi, teknologi digital dapat memberikan kemudahan untuk merespon informasi yang masuk atau keluar serta mendokumentasinya dengan baik dan teratur. Di bidang pemasaran, dimana konsumen dapat mencari informasi secara mudah tentang produk yang mereka butuhkan dengan lebih cepat. Semua hal tersebut dapat lebih efektif dan efisien apabila di integrasikan dalam sebuah website. Akan tetapi, perkembangan digital tersebut dirasa masih kurang dampaknya pada pelaku UMKM yang masih belum beranjak dari cara konvensional dalam mengelola usaha. Khususnya, pelaku UMKM yang ada di Galeri Investasi Politeknik Negeri Manado (Polimdo) yang masih belum terampil dalam pemanfaatan dan pengaplikasian administrasi usaha digital dan digital marketing sebagai media informasi, promosi dan pemasaran produk UMKM. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dilakukan dengan membuat Website Profiling ini yang bermaksud untuk memudahkan pelaku UMKM  untuk mengelola informasi yg efisien secara digital dan menjadi sarana untuk menjangkau pasar yang luas lewat pemasaran digital.

Abstract

[Strengthening MSME Capacity in The Field of Javanese Snacks and Foods] This paper studied about application of steam cooker technology. The teachnology apllied at a Small Manufacturer of wheat flour based snacks and foods industry to increase its productivity. The activities include: (i) designing and manufacturing of steam cooker, and (ii) techno-economy analysis. Fungsional and commercial capacity test were done to the equipments. The test results that the steam cooker has satisfied to proceed snacks and food as per design capacity. The steam cooker was able to cook dough to be various snakcs and foods. By the cooker production capacity increased to 30%..

Abstract

Widening irrigation canals is important as part of the Indonesian government's efforts to increase crop yields, reduce poverty, and achieve food independence. This community service program is very much needed by the people of Kangkung Village, Demak Regency, due to the uncertain climatic conditions and the lack of adequate irrigation networks used by the community to irrigate the farmers' fields. This actual condition is the background for selecting the object of community service research to study, analyze and formulate the right irrigation channel model to help irrigate of plantation and agricultural lands for the Kangkung village community and its surroundings in order to increase the production of agricultural and plantation products.
