Abstract

This research was conducted in Kampung Baru Village, West Bilah District, Labuhanbatu Regency with the research title "Farmers' Perceptions of the Implementation of People's Oil Palm Rejuvenation (Case Study: Kampung Baru Village, West Bilah District, Labuhanbatu Regency)" in August 2022. The purpose of this research is to analyze how farmers' perceptions of the implementation of community oil palm rejuvenation in the research area of Kampung Baru Village. The data collected in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from information provided by farmers as respondents using a list of questions (questionnaire) that had been prepared beforehand. Secondary data is data obtained from information from related institutions and book literature related to this research, then analyzed using descriptive qualitative data. The results of this study indicate that Farmers' Perceptions of the Implementation of People's Oil Palm Rejuvenation (Case study: Kampung Baru Village, West Bilah District, Labuhanbatu Regency), from the economic aspect, have a neutral perception, while the social and technical aspects have very good perceptions.Keywords: Farmers' Perceptions of the Implementation of Oil Palm Rejuvenation

Abstract

Cayene pepper is national strategic vegetable commodity which is widely consumed by Indonesian. National pepper consumption has increased in line with increasing population so the production and quality of pepper need to be increased for creating national food security. Increasing the production and quality can be achieved through assembling superior varieties using mutation. The objective of this research are to evaluate the  growth response in early stages of two varieties cayenne pepper irradiated using gamma-ray mutagen and determine the optimal dose of gamma-rays that will increase the frequency of mutant occurrence. This study was conducted in May-July 2023 at the nursery in Wedomartani, Sleman using two factor completely randomized design, namely variety (Ori 212 and Caliber) and doses of gamma irradiation (0, 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 Gy). Our finding showed that growth of cayenne pepper in the early stages was influenced by the interaction between varieties and doses of gamma-ray irradiation. Gamma rays irradiation by using 100 Gy and 200 Gy at Ori 212 variety and the Caliber variety at dose 100 Gy gave positive response to plant growth at early stage compared to controls. At doses of 400 and 500 Gy gamma rays on the Ori 212 variety, the germinated plants were unable to grow and the plants died. The recommended dose of gamma rays that would increase the frequency of occurrence of mutants were 249.97 – 288.48 Gy for the Ori 212 variety and dose of 383.29 – 521 Gy for the Caliber variety.

Abstract

Tomato are vegetable commodity with high economic value and widely consumed by Indonesian people. The increase in tomato consumption is not matched by an increase in production. Tomato production in Manggarai Regency has decreased due to excessive use of inorganic fertilizers. Providing organic materials with rice washing water and coconut water can reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers. This study aims to determine the effect of rice washing water and coconut water on tomato growth, and determining the appropriate concentration of rice washing water and coconut water to increase tomato growth. This study was conducted in September-November 2023 on the Food Security and Horticulture Demonstration Plot of Kodim 1612 Manggarai. This study used a non-factorial Randomized Block Design in the form of coconut water and rice washing water consisting concentrations with 4 levels (0 ml rice washing water + 0 ml coconut water; 250 ml rice washing water + 250 ml coconut water; 350 ml rice washing water + 150 ml coconut water; 450 ml rice washing water + 50 ml coconut water) and each treatment was four repeated. The study showed that the concentration of rice washing water and coconut water had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area and stem diameter in tomato plants, but had no significant effect on the number of branches. The concentration of 450 ml rice washing water + 50 ml coconut water can produce the tallest plant (155.24 cm) and the highest number of branches (11.65 branches), while a concentration of 250 ml rice washing water + 250 ml coconut water can produce the highest number of leaves (197.43 leaves), highest leaf area (36.23 cm2) and highest stem diameter (0.88 cm).

Abstract

UD. Safnur is one of the agro-industries that focus on processing tempe sago chips in Banjarnegara Regency. The problems faced are limited technology, labor shortages, marketing, and the strategies and business models used do not have clear directions and goals. The research aims to determine the added value and determine the business model canvas of sago tempeh chips agro-industry UD. Safnur. The basic research methods used are case study method, descriptive method, and Participatory Action Research method. The data used in this research consisted of primary data and secondary data, both qualitative and quantitative. The data analysis used in this research is the value-added analysis of Hayami method and business model canvas analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the sago tempeh chips agro-industry at UD. Safnur produces added value of Rp 59,000/kg. The value-added ratio is 59 percent of the product value, which means that the processing of sago tempeh chips provides high added value. The description of UD Business Model Canvas. Safnur includes Customer Segments ranging from children to parents or all circles, healthy snack consumers and resellers, Value Proposition offered quality raw materials, healthy because it is not made from MSG, easy to obtain, while for Channels includes a direct sales system and through resellers. Customer Relationship that is prioritized is to provide excellent and professional customer service. Key Activities include production and marketing of tempe sago chips. Key Resources include human resources, physical resources, and intellectual resources. Key Partnerships involve soybean and sago traders and resellers. Cost Structure includes fixed costs and variable costs, while Revenue Streams are income from the sale of tempe sago chips.

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze robusta coffee production and analyze the factors that influence to robusta coffee production in Keling District. The research locations are Tempur Village and Damarwulan Village, Keling District, Jepara Regency. The research method used is a survey method with purposive random sampling, with 100 respondents of robusta coffee farmers. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis with the production function Cobb-douglas. Research shows that robusta coffee farmers in Keling District have the following characteristics: the majority are male, the average age range is 20-49 years, the majority have primary school education, the majority have been farming for more than 20 years, the number of dependents on the majority of farmer families is 4-6 people, the majority of respondents make farming as their main job. The average production of robusta coffee in Keling District is 747,24 kg/ha/year. The production factors of capital, land area, labor, fertilizers, pesticides simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on robusta coffee production in Keling District with a coefficient of determination of 0,942. Partially, the variables of capital, labor, fertilizers, and pesticides have a significant effect on robusta coffee production. The variable that has the most significant effect on robusta coffee production is capital (X1) with a regression coefficient of 0,475 in units of IDR/year.

Abstract

AbstrakGenerasi Z saat ini telah memasuki fase perkembangan remaja dan dewasa. Usia generasi Z saat ini berkisar antara 11-26 tahun. Generasi ini merupakan generasi penerus dan cukup berpengaruh terhadap kecenderungan-kecenderungan yang terjadi di masyarakat termasuk kecenderungan terhadap makanan khas (kuliner). Sehingga memperhatikan perilaku generasi Z dalam hal makanan khas olahan sagu menjadi sangat mendesak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis perilaku generasi z terhadap makanan olahan sagu di Tana Luwu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan analisis kuantitatif. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan model SEM melalui aplikasi Smart PLS 3.0. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor personal tentang makanan khas olahan sagu berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilakunya dalam memilih makanan olahan sagu tersebut. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil T hitung (8.500) > T tabel 1,653 dan P Value (0,000) < nilai cut off (0,05) adapun pada hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi Gen Z tentang makanan khas olahan sagu berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap perilakunya dalam memilih makanan olahan sagu. makanan olahan sagu, berdasarkan hasil T Hitung 1,470 < T tabel 1,653 dan P Value = 0,142 > nilai cut off = 0,05. Sedangkan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sumber informasi tentang makanan khas olahan sagu berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilakunya dalam memilih makanan olahan sagu tersebut. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil T hitung (3.246) > T tabel 1,653 dan P Value (0,001) < nilai cut off (0,05).Kata kunci : Gen z, olahan sagu, perilaku

Abstract

Produksi tanaman tomat dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan salah satunya kesuburan tanah. Tanah dengan kondisi yang subur dapat menghasilkan produksi yang optimal begitu juga sebaliknya tanah dengan kesuburan tanah rendah dapat menghasilkan produksi yang rendah pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji respon komponen produksi tanaman tomat yang diberi perlakuan pupuk organik plus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Agroteknologi dan Screen House Program Studi Agroteknologi pada bulan Agustus-November 2023.   Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan perlakuan pupuk organik plus. Perlakuan terdiri dari 6 taraf yakni tanpa pupuk organik plus (P0), pupuk organik plus 3 t.ha-1 (P1), 6 t.ha-1  (P2), 9 t.ha-1  (P3), 12 t.ha-1  (P4),  dan 15 t.ha-1  (P5). Variabel yang diamati adalah umur panen, jumlah buah, berat buah, diameter buah, dan produktivitas.  Data pengamatan yang diperoleh dari setiap variabel dianalisis ragam dan hasil analisis yang menunjukkan pengaruh nyata atau sangat nyata dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan (UJBD) pada taraf α0.05.  Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk organik plus dapat meningkatkan komponen produksi tanaman tomat yakni umur panen, jumlah buah, berat buah, diameter buah, dan produktivitas. Perlakuan terbaik diperoleh pada pupuk organik plus dosis 15  t.ha dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya terutama tanpa perlakuan pupuk organik plus (kontrol). Abstract

Competition in the food and beverage industry in Indonesia is currently increasingly competitive. The growth of the food and beverage industry will reach 3.57% in 2022. One of the growing retail businesses in Indonesia is engaged in the food and beverage industry, namely Mixue Ice Cream and Tea, which manages soft-serve ice cream and tea drinks, but several months recently, this company has experienced an increase in complaints or negative comments by consumers. This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image and electronic word of mouth on Mixue Ice Cream and Tea beverage products. This research was conducted at the Tropodo branch of Mixue Ice Cream and Tea. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total sample of 55 people. Methods of data analysis using descriptive analysis and SEM-PLS analysis with the SmartPLS version 4 application. Based on the analysis it is known that the Brand Image and Electronic Word of Mouth variables significantly influence the Interest to Buy Mixue Ice Cream and Tea, because it has a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05. Abstract

Perkembangan bisnis tanaman hias yang penuh persaingan menuntut setiap pelaku usaha yang bergerak dalam usaha penjualan tanaman hias memiliki pengetahuan mengenai perilaku konsumen terhadap keputusan pembelian tanaman hias. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi konsumen dalam mengambil keputusan pembelian tanaman hias di Erista Garden, jenis tanaman yang paling diminati konsumen dan karakteristik tempat yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian tanaman hias di Erista Garden. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode dasar deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pelaksanaan ini menggunakan metode studi kasus, pengambilan sampel responden menggunakan teknik slovin dari populasi masyarakat Kabupaten Sleman. Jumlah sampel 100 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa empat variabel dianalisis dengan regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis variabel faktor budaya dan variabel faktor sosial berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap keputusan pembelian tanaman hias di Erista Garden. Sedangkan variabel faktor pribadi dan variabel faktor psikologi berpengaruh nyata terhadap keputusan pembelian tanaman hias di Erista Garden. Hasil analisis jenis tanaman yang paling diminati konsumen yaitu bunga marigold. Dan hasil analisis karakteristik tempat yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian yaitu pada atribut kualitas produk dan promosi produk.

Abstract

Vaname Shrimp, also known as Litopenaeus vaname, is one type of shrimp that has the highest appetite and fast growth. However, their size when mature is smaller than Windu shrimp. This research aims to analyze the variables that influence vaname shrimp production in Kaliwungu District Kendal regency. The sampling method was a saturated sampling method, where the sample for this research is the entire population of vaname shrimp cultivators totaling 29 people. The data source used is primary data, which is then analyzed using multiple linear regression. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination was 90.8%. The F test result obtained F calculated value = 59.273 which is greater than F table = 4.22.  Based on the t test (partial), it shows that the variables pond area (X1), number of seeds (X2), number of feed (X3) and number of labor (X4) are variablest that influence vaname shrimp production (Y).
