Abstract

The tracer study is one of the essential activities carried out by universities to monitor the success of their graduates in the workforce as well as to serve as an evaluation tool for improving the quality of education. However, the alumni tracking process that is conducted manually often encounters various obstacles, such as difficulties in data searching, information duplication, and delays in reporting. Based on these problems, this study aims to develop an alumni tracking application for Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu by implementing the Brute Force algorithm as a method for searching alumni data based on specific keywords. The implementation results show that the system can display alumni search results quickly and accurately by providing information on the number of string comparisons, execution time, and match percentage. In addition, the application also provides features for alumni data management, alumni questionnaire input, and job information updates, which support the digital implementation of tracer study activities. Thus, the application of the Brute Force algorithm in this system has proven to be effective in assisting the alumni data search process and improving the efficiency and accuracy of graduate tracking at Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu.

Abstract

Toko Nor'In, a mid-range grocery store founded in 1999, operates as a wholesale outlet supplying necessities and staple foods, while also catering directly to consumers. The store provides delivery services to downlines or loyal customers within the Tengaran District area. Despite its operations, Toko Nor'In still relies on a manual stock recording system, which frequently leads to serious problems like data inaccuracies and low operational efficiency. Implementing a computerized system is a vital solution to lighten the workload of employees and provide significant benefits for the grocery business. The new inventory system was developed using the Waterfall method, a structured approach following four distinct stages: requirement definition, system design, implementation, and testing. This method ensures clear guidance and efficient management, guaranteeing a system that meets user expectations. The information system was constructed utilizing the PHP programming language, Visual Studio Code, and SQL. To verify its quality, the system underwent Black Box testing and System Usability Scale (SUS) testing. Black Box results confirmed the website's functionality works optimally. Furthermore, the system achieved a SUS score of 69, categorized as "Good," which affirms that it meets user standards for acceptability and ease of use.

Abstract

Higher education demands the provision of quality academic services to ensure user satisfaction, specifically student satisfaction. The Faculty of Computer Science (Filkom) at Dehasen University, Bengkulu, does not yet have a measurable system for evaluating its service quality, making it difficult to identify areas for improvement based on student feedback. This study aims to implement the Service Quality (ServQual) method to measure student satisfaction with Filkom's academic services. The ServQual method is used to analyze the gap between student perceptions and expectations across five service quality dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy.The results of the ServQual analysis indicate that overall, students are dissatisfied with the services provided. All dimensions and indicators received negative gap scores, with the Responsiveness dimension recording the largest gap. The conclusion of this study is that the ServQual method is effective as an objective service quality measurement tool. The developed application not only provides a comprehensive overview of student satisfaction levels but also serves as an efficient monitoring tool for the faculty to implement continuous improvement.

Abstract

Babe Barbershop faced manual queuing problems that affected schedule irregularities and customer comfort. This research aims to design and implement a more efficient and structured mobile application for queue management and customer service. Development was carried out at Babe Barbershop (Bengkulu) from February to June 2025 using Agile method with iterative stages from planning to launch, in order to easily adapt to changing needs. The application was developed with Vue.js and Firebase stack; key features include registration/login, service booking with barber and time slot selection, attendance confirmation, walk-in input, barber dashboard, and a public queue page for transparency. Black-box testing showed that all functions worked well according to the scenario: bookings were saved and had a BOOKED status, cancellations updated the status, “Already Present” changed the status and barber queue, and application navigation was smooth without errors. These results confirm that the application supports operational efficiency, reduces waiting times, and improves the service experience at Babe Barbershop..

Abstract

The admissions of New student are an important process that determines the quality of students at a school. Until now, the selection process for prospective students at SMK Negeri 3 Bengkulu City, particularly in the Computer Network and Telecommunications Engineering (TJKT) program, has been carried out manually, which is time-consuming and prone to subjectivity in decision-making. To overcome this, this study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) for new student admissions using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, which can help schools determine eligible prospective students more quickly, accurately, and objectively. This system was developed using PHP programming language with MySQL database and tested using the black box method to ensure that all functions ran as required. The results of testing 15 prospective new student data for the 2025/2026 academic year showed that the system was able to display the calculation results automatically and provide recommendations on eligibility for admission. From this test, 7 prospective students were accepted and 8 prospective students were not accepted..

Abstract

Violence against women and children is common, both in public and within the family. This study aims to determine the level of violence against women and children in Bengkulu Province using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method can solve problems with more precise assessments because it is based on predetermined criteria values ​​and preference weights. It can select the best alternative from a number of available alternatives due to the ranking process after assigning weights for each attribute. This Decision Support System for determining the level of violence against women and children in Bengkulu Province was created using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database. This application can accommodate data from all regions in Bengkulu Province to be assessed. This application can be used to facilitate the determination of the level of violence against women and children in Bengkulu Province by applying the SAW method, which can rank the assessment results.

Abstract

The effectiveness of trunking radio communication systems in critical operations is often degraded by intense environmental noise, which increases the risk of fatal information errors. This study aims to enhance voice signal quality by designing an Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system based on simple Artificial Intelligence (AI) utilizing the Least Mean Squares (LMS) algorithm. Unlike conventional static filters, the proposed method offers high adaptability to dynamic acoustic disturbances in the field. The research methodology involves computational simulation using the ADALINE neural network architecture, where clean speech signals are mixed with various operational noise profiles at a standard 8 kHz sampling frequency. System performance is objectively evaluated based on Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) improvement, convergence speed, and Steady-State Error stability. The results indicate that the proposed system successfully increased the average SNR by 12 dB to 15 dB and achieved rapid convergence when noise characteristics changed abruptly. Further spectral analysis confirmed that the algorithm effectively attenuated disturbance energy without distorting human vocal frequencies. With low computational complexity, this approach proves efficient and feasible for implementation on resource-constrained radio hardware. In conclusion, the adaptive LMS algorithm provides a significant solution for clarifying trunking radio communication in real-time.by applying the SAW method, which can rank the assessment results.

Abstract

The significance of image processing technology has grown tremendously in recent years, with its applications now encompassing various fields, including biometric sistems. A salient concern in the realm of biometric sistems pertains to the potential for face forgery through images exhibited on mobile device screens. The objective of this research is to develop a method for detecting skin texture that can differentiate between real human skin and skin displayed on a mobile device's interface. The proposed approach utilizes the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) to analyze the skin texture, while the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm is employed to differentiate between human skin and the screen. The GLCM operates through the extraction of texture features, including contrast, energy, homogeneity, and correlation, from grayscale images. These features are then trained and tested using the KNN algorithm to classify the image into the real skin or screen category. Then LBP (Local Binary Pattern) was added to see the micro texture which can help GLCM detect texture more accurately. The dataset under consideration in this study is comprised of a series of images depicting human skin, along with images of human skin displayed on a mobile phone screen. These images have undergone a series of processing steps, including preprocessing and feature normalization. The evaluation results demonstrate a classification accuracy rate of 90%, suggesting that the method is effective in identifying distinctive texture patterns between human skin and screen. This research also contributes to the development of biometric sistems, such as face-based attendance, which are designed to detect fraud, such as the use of fake faces from the screen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan teknologi blockchain dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan dan transparansi di berbagai sektor, terutama E-Commerce, rantai pasok, dan sistem keuangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review dengan mengacu pada pedoman PRISMA 2020. Sebanyak lima belas artikel dari jurnal terindeks SINTA dianalisis berdasarkan relevansi topik, kebaruan penelitian, serta kontribusinya terhadap penguatan tata kelola digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi blockchain mampu memperkuat kepercayaan antar pemangku kepentingan melalui pencatatan data yang tidak dapat diubah (immutable ledger) dan jejak audit yang transparan. Dalam sektor E-Commerce, blockchain meningkatkan keamanan data, melindungi privasi pengguna, serta mengurangi risiko penipuan transaksi. Pada rantai pasok, teknologi ini memungkinkan keterlacakan produk secara real time sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi dan keandalan distribusi. Sementara itu, dalam sistem keuangan, blockchain menekan potensi manipulasi laporan serta mempercepat proses audit. Namun, tantangan utama masih ditemukan, seperti kesiapan infrastruktur digital, biaya implementasi yang tinggi, serta ketidakpastian regulasi. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa blockchain memiliki potensi besar sebagai fondasi kepercayaan digital di masa depan jika didukung oleh kebijakan adaptif, kolaborasi lintas sektor, dan peningkatan literasi teknologi

Abstract

The rapid growth of cloud computing has driven the extensive adoption of cloud-based data storage and processing services across various sectors. Despite its advantages in scalability and efficiency, this paradigm raises significant concerns regarding data security and privacy, particularly when sensitive information is processed by third-party cloud providers. Homomorphic Encryption (HE) has emerged as a promising cryptographic solution to address these challenges, as it enables computations to be performed directly on encrypted data without requiring prior decryption. This study aims to examine the concepts, mechanisms, and protocols of Homomorphic Encryption for secure data processing in cloud environments. The research adopts a literature review method by analyzing various HE schemes, including Partially Homomorphic Encryption, Somewhat Homomorphic Encryption, and Fully Homomorphic Encryption, along with their applications in cloud-based systems. The results indicate that Homomorphic Encryption significantly enhances data confidentiality and privacy during cloud data processing. However, several challenges remain, particularly related to computational complexity and performance efficiency. Nevertheless, Homomorphic Encryption demonstrates strong potential as a foundational technology for developing secure and privacy-preserving cloud services, especially for handling sensitive data such as medical, financial, and personal information.
