Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of an online learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic, so it is necessary to understand the learning process that can increase student learning motivation. In the online learning process there are many obstacles that cause the discussion process to be not very effective and efficient during the online learning process so that students' motivation in learning also decreases so that their learning achievement also decreases. This study aims to determine the level of student motivation in the online learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic. This type of research uses a quantitative approach using a survey method. The study was conducted on 50 students who took mathematics, engineering using a questionnaire. Data Analysis Techniques Using the Gutman scale. The results of the study A total of 4 students were classified as very low motivation to learn, as many as 6 students who belonged to low learning motivation, as many as 15 students who belonged to the medium learning motivation category, while as many as 25 students stated high motivation, while 0 students stated the motivation is very high. Recommendations need a learning process by giving group assignments by means of video calls

Abstract

The phenomenon of low student learning outcomes from observations of researchers in the field is caused by several factors, such as: (1) The learning carried out by the teacher still uses conventional learning, namely the teacher lectures in delivering material, questions and answers and assignments, so it does not provide encouragement for students to study seriously ; (2) In delivering learning, the teacher still places students as recipients so that students are passive and only wait for information from the teacher without trying to find it. This can be seen when the teacher asks for students' opinions, only a few students give opinions and ask questions about things that are not understood; (3) This is also due to the lack of teacher knowledge about learning strategies that can activate students; (4) Teachers do not provide opportunities for students to work together in doing their assignments with their friends. This makes researchers feel the need to improve the learning process with efforts made to apply an appropriate learning model, namely the Think Pair Share Type cooperative learning model. This type gives students time to think and respond and help each other. Cooperative learning Think Pair Share is a cooperative learning model that allows students to help each other and cooperate with one another. Through this model students are more enthusiastic in learning so that they can increase the achievement of optimal learning outcomes. The formulation of the problem is as follows: "Does the student learning outcomes increase through the application of the Think Pair Share type of cooperative learning model for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 6 Sukajadi, Pekanbaru City?". The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of social studies learning outcomes through the application of the Think Pair Share Type Cooperative learning model for class IV SDN 6 Sukajadi, Pekanbaru City. Based on the data that has been presented above, it is concluded that the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model can improve social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 6 Sukajadi (the average student learning outcomes through cycle I is 62.25, while in the second cycle the average student learning outcomes of 76.25)

Abstract

Low activity, student creativity in the learning process can result in the teaching and learning process being less than optimal so that the material presented is incomplete according to the expected completeness criteria. From the results of observations and discussions with the history subject teacher, information is obtained that the learning system has not fully involved students as the subject of learning consequently the final result to be achieved, namely individual and classical learning completeness with KKM (minimum completeness criteria) has not been achieved. One of the efforts made to improve the process and student learning outcomes, a learning method is used that makes it easier for students to compile and understand information or the content of the lesson text in increasing understanding of social studies subject matter so that learning outcomes are expected to increase, through the use of the SQ3R method. Based on the background of the problem, the formulation of the problem in this study is: "How are the students' learning outcomes increased through the SQ3R method in history learning for students of XII SMA Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu Indragiri Hilir? "The purpose of this study is to determine the activities of teachers and students as well as the improvement of student learning outcomes in history subjects through the SQ3R method for class XI SMAN 1 Kateman Indragiri Hilir. The conclusion of this study is that the student learning outcomes, before CAR the average daily test was 64.3, after the CAR based on the daily test cycle I increased to 81.8 and was included in the good category. In the second cycle of daily tests, it increased again to 92.8 and was included in the very good category. Thus, the use of the SQ3R method can improve student learning outcomes in history learning for class XII at SMAN 1 Tembilahan Hulu, Indragiri Hilir Regency

Abstract

Based on the description of the table above, of the 28 grade IVA students of SDN 07 Jati Mulya (18 male students and 8 female students) who did not reach the minimum completeness criteria were 21 people, namely around 45% where classically they did not meet the completeness criteria set by the school 75%. Thus there are still many students who have not reached the minimum completeness criteria. So that the teacher has to repeat the same material over and over again for several meetings in an effort to improve student learning outcomes. This makes the demands of the curriculum not achieved because the time allocation that should be used for the next material is used to discuss the same material. Seeing this condition, the researcher considers it necessary to provide a learning model that can arouse students in learning. One learning model that leads to student curiosity and improves student learning outcomes is the guided inkuri learning model. Guided inkuri learning model is a learning activity that emphasizes the process of thinking critically and analytically to find and discover for themselves the problem that is being questioned to students. Social studies learning with inquiry is able to lead students to realize what they have obtained after learning. As for the formulation of the problem in this study is "Can the application of guided inquiry learning models improve social studies learning outcomes of class IVA SDN 07 Jati Mulya students?" This study aims to improve the social studies learning outcomes of grade IVA students of SDN 07 Jati Mulya by applying the Guided Inquiry learning model. Based on the results of the research and discussion carried out, it can be concluded that the application of the guided inquiry learning model can improve the learning outcomes of grade IVA students at SD Negeri 07 Jati Mulia, Kerinci Kanan District, Siak Regency, which is proven that student learning outcomes increase from the basic score, cycle I and cycle II. In the basic score, the class average was 63.75, increasing in the first cycle with an increase of 2.35% to 65.25. In the second cycle, the class average increased again with an increase of 8.00% to 74.25

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendapatan asli daerah dan pengangguran terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia melalui kemiskinan sebagai variabel intervening di Provinsi Bali. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik, Jakarta, Indonesia dan Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Bali. Data sekunder yang digunakan adalah tahun 2010-2019. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear dengan variabel intervening, dari hasil analisis diketahui pendapatan asli daerah berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia secara langsung, dan pengangguran berpengaruh negative signifikan terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia secara langsung, sedangkan pendapatan asli daerah dan pengangguran melalui kemiskinan sebagai variabel intervening tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia di Provinsi Bali

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis refleksi sosial di tengah pandemi dalam novel Kisah-Kisah Kecil dan Ganjil Malam 1001 Pandemi karya Agus Noor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu penjabaran dari data yang tidak berupa angka. Dalam penelitian ini dimanfaatkan teori kritik sosiokultur. Hasil penelitian ini berupa paparan kritik pengarang terhadap kondisi sosisal, karya sastra sebagai refleksi sosial di masa pandemic covid-19, dan karya sastra sebagai katarsis bagi pembaca. Karya sastra memiliki peran sebagai katarsis, yaitu tempat melampiaskan emosi yang tertambat akibat kebiasaan. Novel tersebut juga mengkritik realitas sosial, sekaligus melakukan upaya reflektif. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulakn bahwa novel Kisah-Kisah Kecil dan Ganjil Malam 1001 melakukan kritik terhadap sosial dan kultur, sekaligus sebagai katarsis di tengah pandemi covid-19

Abstract

The aim of this study investigated is to describe the influence of self confidence on public speaking skills at History Education Students of Jambi University. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires and then analyzed quantitatively with a correlational research design. The results showed: there was an influence of self confidence on public speaking skills at History Education student of Jambi University because the value of thitung (16,960) > ttabel (1,65) and the significance probability value is 0,000 < 0,05. It means that the higher self confidence of history education students also makes the higher public speaking skills. The magnitude of the influence of self confidence on public speaking skills at History Education Students of Jambi University is 66,5% and the remaining 33,5% is influenced by other variables outside of this study. From the results of this study, it's recommended that lecturers no longer only focus on models, media, or learning methods but also have to pay attention to the psychology and mentality of students who can influence their attitude during class, so there’s no assumption that students who are less active when appearing in front of the class are students who are not good at learning

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini berjudul “ Penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiry dapat meningkatkan aktifitas dan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa Kelas VIII.8 SMP Negeri 1 Ujungbatu tahun pelajaran 2017/2018”.Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Apakah penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiry dapat meningkatkan aktifitas dan hasil belajar IPS di kelas VIII.8 SMP Negeri I Ujungbatu tahun pelajaran 2017/2018.” Hipotesis tindakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiry dapat meningkatkan aktifitas dan hasil belajar IPS di kelas VIII.8 SMP negeri 1 Ujungbatu. Data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis tindakan adalah hasil ulangan harian Pra siklus dan hasil ulangan dari dua siklus yang dilakukan. Dari hasil pra siklus 70,33 terlihat terjadi peningkatan pada siklus I menjadi 76,00. Demikian juga post test pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan menjadi 86,00 maka secara umum penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiry dapat meningkatkan aktifitas dan hasil belajar siswa di kelas VIII.8 di SMP Negeri 1 Ujungbatu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial knowledge on the entrepreneurial interest of students of Economic Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau. The population used in this study were students of economic education class 2017, 2018, and 2019. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of documentation to obtain students' entrepreneurial knowledge and using questionnaires to obtain data about interest in entrepreneurship. The samples taken were at least 146 students from 228 students, using the Slovin formula to determine the number of samples used. The data collected was then tabulated and analyzed using chi square. The results showed the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-sided) of 0.000. This value is smaller than 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of entrepreneurial knowledge on the entrepreneurial interest of students in Economics Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau

Abstract

Nasionalisme menjadi suatu keharusan bagi segenap bangsa sebagai wujud dalam membela bangsa dan negara. Kekuatan utama nasionalisme adalah pada rasa cinta tanah air yang diupayakan melalui penanaman semangat juang, patriotisme, rela berkorban, serta setia pada Pancasila dan UUD 1945. Penanaman semangat juang dan patriotisme dapat dilakukan dengan meneladani kiprah dan semangat juang para tokoh pendiri bangsa. Sekolah Guru Bangsa (SGB) Politeknik Harapan Bersama merupakan suatu program yang dilaksanakan oleh Bidang Kemahasiswaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengupas tuntas sepak terjang dan pemikiran tokoh pendiri bangsa yang dapat dijadikan sebagai spirit perjuangan dan inspirasi generasi penerus bangsa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tinjauan pustaka dan diskusi. Beberapa tokoh pendiri bangsa yang dibahas adalah mereka yang tergolong sebagai guru bangsa yang memiliki fondasi pemikiran yang masih relevan dengan kondisi bangsa pada saat ini serta menjadi acuan para generasi penerus dalam melanjutkan perjuangan dalam mengisi kemerdekaan, mereka antara lain HOS Tjokroaminoto, H. Agus Salim, Soekarno, dan Moh.Hatta. Adanya SGB ini diharapkan masyarakat mengenal lebih dekat tokoh serta mengambil keteladanan agar terbangun karakter yang sesuai dengan jati diri bangsa, dengan tumbuhnya karakter bangsa maka akan muncul jiwa nasionalisme. Sehubungan adanya pandemik maka acara ini diselenggarakan dalam bentuk diskusi online
