Abstract

Moringa is a plant that has a many of benefits both for fulfilling human nutrition and as an ingredient used for animal feed. Information to the public is still very minimal about the benefits of this Moringa plant, and it is also needed to expand the land to cultivate it. Acid sulphate land is an rarely used land for agricultural crop cultivation because it has a serious limiting factor, but has the potential to be planted with Moringa plant, because Moringa plant tolerance to high acidity. For the business certainty, it is need to be evaluation the land suitability of Moringa plant in acid sulphate land as the use of wetland is not optimal. This research was conducted in Barito Kuala, Tabukan sub-district for the first year. This research uses a survey method by taking several soil samples with purposive sampling which is then analyzed in the laboratory, then interpreted whether it is suitable for Moringa plant so that it can be recommended and socialized to the public for cultivated in acid sulphate tidal land. From the aspect of human resources and land availability, the prospect of developing Moringa plant in Tabukan sub-district is still possible, but in terms of suitability and soil quality, in-depth studies are still needed.

Abstract

Watershed The process of River Flow (DAS) conducted by humans is incorrect, causing damage and bad conditions to the environment on the downstream. Unregulated land use with land and air formulations in the Upper DAS section contains the amount of erosion. One of the main problems occurring in the Sekampung Hulu Basin is the magnitude of erosion. The erosion will increase the rate of erosion and the amount of sediment entering the river. The study aims to (1) estimate sediment potential in DAM Batutegi and (2) estimate erosion in Sekampung Hulu Basin with SDR method (Sediment Delivery Ratio). Based on the analysis result, the total value of sediment potential in DAM Batutegi is 83.478,74 ton/year or equivalent with sediment thickness of 5.04 mm/year and the average value obtained by SDR method in Sekampung Hulu Basin is on average 140,31 ton/ha/year.Proses perlakuan pemanfaatanDaerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) yang dilakukan oleh manusia secara tidak benar, menimbulkan kerusakan dan kondisiyang buruk terhadap lingkungan pada bagian hilir. Pemakaian pada lahan yang tidak setaraf dengan rumusan-rumusan konservasi tanah dan air di bagian hulu DAS menimbulkanbesarnya erosi. Salah satu permasalahan utama yang sering terjadi di DAS Sekampung Hulu adalah besarnya erosi. Erosi yang terjadi akan meningkatkan laju erosi dan jumlah sedimen yang masuk ke sungai. Penelitian bertujuan (1) memperkirakan besarnya potensi sedimen di DAM Batutegi dan (2) memperkirakan erosi di DAS Sekampung Hulu dengan metode SDR (Sediment Delivery Ratio). Diketahui berdasarkan hasil analisis, nilai total potensisedimen di DAM Batutegi sebesar 83.478,74 ton/tahun atau sepadan dengan ketebalan sedimen sebesar 5,04 mm/tahun dan nilai estimasierosi yang didapatkan dengan metode SDR di DAS Sekampung Hulu rata-rata sebesar 140,31 ton/ha/tahun.

Abstract

he purpose of this research is to measure the level of perception and attitude towards the mentoring post-graduate team. The method used in data collection is a live interview using structured questionnaires and direct observations to measure the skills of respondents. Purpossive Random samplingtechniqueto 20 respondents was applied. The parameters are observed counseling/socialization activities, the training of sugar-making innovations, the training of palm sugar products and the training of liquid sugar products and the packaging of brown sugar products. The results showed that public attitudes and perception of socialization activities showed 100% understand the content of material, demonstration processing of palm sugar Products innovations 60% understand and will try to cultivate, 40% understand just do not try to cultivate; Demonstration brown sugarprocessing 85% understand and will try to do, and 15% just look at the process and would try for livelihood needs, processing liquid sugar 50% who enthusiastically understand and 50% less understanding, packaging the product modeled 75% understand and interested, 25% do not understand and have no desire to make packaging.

Abstract

Agroforestri memiliki kemampuan dalam mitigasi iklim melalui dalam penyerapan karbon. Dengan kondisi  tegakan agroforestry  menyerupai hutan skunder sehingga memiliki kemampuan dalam menyerap karbon yang cukup besar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karbon yang dapat diserap pada setiap model agroforestri yang ada di Kecamatan XIII Koto Kampar. Model agroforestri Karet-GaharuDurian memiliki biomassa adalah 135,35 ton/ha dan potensi karbon 62,26 C ton/ha sedangkan Model KaretDurian memiliki biomassa 82,14 ton/ha dan  karbon   37,78 ton/ha. Biomassa model Karet-Gaharu  adalah 93,70 ton/ha dengan potensi karbon 43,10 ton/haKata Kunci : model agroforestri; biomassa; karbon Agroforestry has the ability to mitigate climate through in carbon sequestration. With the condition of agroforestry stands resembling a secondary forest that has the ability to absorb considerable carbon. The purpose of this research is to know the carbon that can be absorbed in every model of agroforestry in District XIII Koto Kampar. The agroforestry model of Rubber-Gaharu-Durian has biomass is 135.35 ton / ha and carbon potential is 62.26 C t / ha while the Durian-Rubber Model has 82.14 ton / ha biomass and 37.78 ton / ha of carbon. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis kemampuan reduksi emisi karbon dari pengelolaan hutan alam produksi lestari. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di hutan alam produksi PT. Sarpatim. Data dikumpulkan dengan survey teresterial dan penelusuran pustaka. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa hutan lestari memiliki stok tegakan atau karbon hutan lebih besar daripada hutan tidak lestari sehingga mampu mereduksi kehilangan tegakan akibat kegiatan pemanenan. Pengelolaan hutan alam produksi lestari mampu mengurangi kehilangan biomassa atau karbon sebesar 0,72% dibandingkan dengan sebelum melakukan pengelolaan hutan lestari. Hasil komparasi tegakan tinggal memberikan gambaran bahwa IUPHHK SFM mampu mereduksi emisi karbon sebesar 234.158 ton CO2/tahun dibandingkan dengan IUPHHK Pra-SFM. Kerusakan tegakan tinggal IUPHHK Pra-SFM menyebabkan kehilangan biomassa sebesar 135,55ton/ha/tahun dan IUPHHK SFM sebesar 69,43 ton/ha/tahun. Pengelolaan hutan alam produksi lestari mampu meminimalkan kerusakan tegakan tinggal sehingga mampu mengurangi kehilangan karbon sebesar 90,5-190,2 ribu ton C/tahun atau mampu mereduksi emisi karbon 39%-57%/tahun.Kata kunci:    pengelolaan hutan alam produksi lestari, tegakan tinggal, biomassa, emisi karbon

Abstract

University of Lampung (Unila) is one of the Green Open Space (GOS) in Bandar Lampung City which has vegetation. Vegetation in green open space has a role as a wildlife habitat for example birds. Various bird species can be indicators of the quality of open green space at the University of Lampung. This research was conducted to determine the diversity of bird species and as an indicator in determining the index of green space quality at the Unila Campus. Research is conducted from November 2016 to March 2017 and December 2018. The study was conducted at the Unila Campus which is divided into eight blocks. An inventory of the diversity of bird species carried out with concentrated observations in eight blocks. The value of diversity of bird species uses an analysis of shannon-wienner heterogeneity index value and the quality of green open space through the calculation of green space quality index values. Based on the results of the study there were 20 species of birds on the Unila campus. The diversity index of bird species is classified as moderate (H '= 2.74). The GOS quality index at the Unila Campus is 59.2 with the intermediate category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the policies and processes related to the consolidation of forest land in the area KPHL Model Kapuas, and formulate strategies stabilization policy in the area of forest area KPHL Model Kapuas. Identification Policies and Processes Forest Area Consolidation is done by collecting data regulations regarding clarification of the forest area. Forest Area Stabilization Policy strategy using SWOT analysis to reveal the internal factors and external factors that are considered important in achieving the goal, which is to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The results of the identification of policies and clarification of forest areas shows that the internal forces KPHL Model Kapuas is their legislation, activities boundaries of land has been gathering bracelet and the strong position of KPHL in RTRWP, while the chances of the external is the absence of government support through the process of accelerating the inauguration of forest area , The model is a progressive strategy employed is to speed up the gazetting of forest areas through mapping and determination of the results of the boundary area KPHL Model Kapuas.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi kebijakan dan proses yang berkaitan dengan pemantapan kawasan hutan di areal KPHL Model Kapuas, dan merumuskan strategi kebijakan pemantapan kawasan hutan di areal KPHL Model Kapuas.  Identifikasi Kebijakan dan Proses Pemantapan Kawasan Hutan dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data-data peraturan yang berlaku terkait proses pemantapan kawasan hutan. Strategi Kebijakan Pemantapan Kawasan Hutan menggunakan analisis SWOT dengan mengungkapkan faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yang dianggap penting dalam mencapai tujuan, yaitu dengan mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, kesempatan dan ancaman. Hasil identifikasi kebijakan dan proses pemantapan kawasan hutan menunjukan bahwa kekuatan internal KPHL Model Kapuas adalah adanya peraturan perundang-undangan, kegiatan tata batas kawasan hutan telah temu gelang serta kuatnya posisi KPHL dalam RTRWP, sedangkan peluang eksternalnya adalah adanya dukungan pemerintah melalui proses percepatan pengukuhan kawasan hutan. Model strategi yang ditempuh adalah progresif yaitu dengan mempercepat proses pengukuhan kawasan hutan melalui pemetaan dan penetapan hasil tata batas areal KPHL Model Kapuas.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui mutu akhir kayu lapis yang dihasilkan yang didekati melalui analisis cacat teknis kayu lapis dan analisis pengujian laboratoris kayu lapis, hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat berkontribusi untuk lebih mengoptimalkan menjaga/meningkatkan kualitas kayu lapis yang dihasilkan.  Dari kelima jenis ketebalan kayu lapis yang diteliti (2,4 mm,  2,7 mm, 3,2 mm, 3,7 mm dan 5,2 mm),  terlihat bahwa  relatif ada perbedaan jenis cacat yang terjadi serta prosentasenya. Untuk kayu lapis tebal 2,4 mm prosentase cacat sebesar 6,0%, ketebalan 2,7 mm sebesar 5,4%, ketebalan 3,2 mm sebesar 5,05%, ketebalan 3,7 mm sebesar 6,15% dan ketebalan 5,2 mm sebesar 5,15%. Secara garis besar terlihat cacat teknis kayu lapis yang tergolong banyak yaitu over laps, press mark, noda lem/minyak, face pecah dan core ujung kurang. Uji laboratoris kayu lapis yang meliputi kadar air kayu lapis, emisi formaldehida dan keteguhan rekat  menunjukkan bahwa indeks kapabilitas proses masuk dalam kriteria mampu. Untuk hasil perhitungan tingkat non konforman hanya untuk keteguhan rekat yang mempunyai peluang untuk tidak dapat memenuhi standar keteguhan dalam kisaran relatif kecil, sedang untuk kadar air kayu lapis dan emisi formaldehida peluangnya dapat diabaikan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalis pola hubungan ketersediaan ruang terbuka hijau dengan suhu di Kota Palu. Metode penelitian adalah berdasarkan data ekstraksi dan analisis matematis. Beberapa hasil penelitian yang diperoleh (1) bahwa kurun waktu 13 tahun dari tahun 1997 sampai dengan tahun 2010 ditemukan bahwa ruang-ruang hijau terbuka menurun dari 48,86% menjadi 29,48%, (2) penurunan ruang-ruang hijau terbuka yang diketahui akan meningkatkan suhu udara maksimalsecara signifikan, dan (3) Persentase ideal hutan kota adalah 18 648 ha (47%) dari luas kota Palu.Kata kunci : ruang terbuka hijau, suhu

Abstract

The degradation of culture and people's lives leads to the degradation of rivers and water. An alarming condition regarding the declining quality of the river's ecology, which has occurred in many places. A lot of garbage is found in the river, the width of the river is getting shorter because on the river border many people's houses are built on the river, sand mining activities in the river erode the depth of the river so that it has an impact on the quality of river water, fish farming activities and so on. That phenomenon lead to decreasing quality of rivers. The purpose of writing this research is to analyze community participation in the river border towards the environmental sustainability of the Tapin river in Tapin Regency, South Kalimantan. This study used a mixed research method that combines quantitative and qualitative approaches with data collection techniques through interviews with informants, direct observations in the field and distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results showed that the value of community participation on participation in the Tapin River conservation effort was 70.825%, which means that it was included in the participation level of 62.50% - 81.24% declared "participating". However, if viewed from the results of the interviews contained in the questionnaire, it was stated that only 30% participated while 70% of the community admitted that they had never participated in efforts to maintain and preserve the Tapin River.
