Abstract

ABSTRACT Abstract: introduction. Cerebral aneurysm is dilatated of arterial vessel in the arterial circulation in the brain. Among 85% case of SAH caused by spontaneous ruptured aneurysm intracranial located in the cerebral artery. Subarachnoid hemorrhage causes of highly morbidity and mortality. Delayed Cerebral Ischemia (DCI) is complication of SAH and cause mortality and worst neurological outcome. DCI occure in 30% patient with SAH and undergo deficit motor, cognitive disfunction and decreases quality of life. Arterial vasospasm induce decreases blood flow progressively cause ischemia which is causes decreased of neurological function. Case presentation A 53-years-old man with SAH post clipping and decompressive craniectomy showed desaturated, bradycardia and hypotension postoperative clipping and decompressive craniectomy. Patient also had deficit neurological, decrease of motoric function and level of consciousness. Fisher modified scale and VASOGRADE scale showed patient have high risk of delayed cerebral ischemia. After 6 days in the NCCU patient showed increases of level of consciousness and motoric function, the result of TCD showed there is no occur of vasospasm. Discussion. The condition of decreases of level consciousness, motoric function indicated patient had damage of cerebral function and may occur DCI after clipping. The use management to avoid DCI such as maintain the blood pressure, oxygenation status, euvolemic and normoterm status is very important to improve cerebral blood flow. Nurse had an important role to observe, detection, critical thinking, providing intervention and coordinating to maintain this condition. Conclusion. SAH post clipping had high risk of complication DCI. Good teamwork among health worker in early detection and first aid improve the patient outcome.

Abstract

The patient safety goals are accurate patient identification, improved effective communication, improved safety of high-alert medications, ensuring correct site, procedure, and patient surgery, reducing the risk of healthcare-associated infections, and reducing the risk of patient falls. This study aimed to determine the relationship between service quality and patient safety goals in the inpatient ward of UPTD RSUD Datu Beru Aceh. The research method used in this study was a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted at UPTD RSUD Datu Beru Aceh from January to September. The study population consisted of 370 inpatient nurses. Purposive sampling technique was used to collect samples using the Slovin formula with a total of 79 respondents. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between responsiveness with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, assurance with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, reliability with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, empathy with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, and tangibles with a p-value of 0.001 < 0.005 towards patient safety in the inpatient ward of Datu Beru Aceh Regional Hospital. In conclusion, there is a relationship between responsiveness, assurance, reliability, empathy, and tangibles with patient safety in the inpatient ward of Datu Beru Aceh Regional Hospital. The hospital is recommended to maintain the quality of service and patient safety in the inpatient ward of Datu Beru Aceh Regional Hospital. The conclusion of the study is that there is a relationship between responsiveness, assurance, reliability, empathy, and tangibility with patient safety in the inpatient ward of UPTD RSUD Datu Beru Aceh. It is recommended that the hospital maintains the quality of services and patient safety at UPTD RSUD Datu Beru Aceh.

Abstract

Anxiety is a response experienced by every human being to a certain situation such as anger, sadness, fear, pain with a combination of phenomenological and physiological qualities. Infusion is an action taken to provide fluids into the body. Caring behavior is a form of basic nursing practice that appears with an attitude of patience, honesty, confidence, presence, touch, compassion and humility in carrying out actions so that the patient's healing process is faster. Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between the caring behavior of nurses and the level of parental anxiety in infusion in children in the Theresia room, Santa Elisabeth Hospital, Batam City in 2022. Methods: The research design used is a correlational study with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were parents whose children were treated in Theresia's room in January 2022 with the inclusion criteria of parents whose children were given intravenous infusion for the first time and were under 12 years of age and obtained a sample of 32 respondents. Sampling with total sampling. Results: The results of the study using the Spearman Rank test, namely p value = 0.039 (p <0.05) and rho (r) = -0.366, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the caring behavior of nurses and the level of anxiety of parents in infusion in children in the Theresia room at the Santa Elisabeth Hospital. Batam city in 2022.

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition when the blood pressure in the blood vessels increases. The majority of hypertensive patients have non-compliance with their meal plans. If people with hypertension do not follow a hypertension diet, the risk of morbidity, death and complications from other diseases will increase. The best way to follow a hypertension diet is to motivate yourself.This study aims to identify the relationship between self-motivation and dietary adherence in hypertensionMitra Medika Hospital Medan. PThis research is a quantitative research which is an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. The population used in this study were all hypertensive patients who were in the poly room of Mitra Medika General Hospital Medan, totaling 308 people.The sample in this study amounted to 75 people. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling with the inclusion criteria in this study being hypertensive patients who were outpatient at Mitra Medika Hospital in Medan and willing to be respondents.Data analysis used in this study was univariate and bivariate analysis. Based on the results of the chi-square test, the p-value (0.000 < ? (0.05), this proves that there is a relationship betweenself motivated withdietary compliance in hypertensive patients at Mitra Medika Hospital Medan. This study concluded that there is a relationship betweenself motivated withdietary compliance in hypertensive patients at Mitra Medika General Hospital Medan. It is recommended for hypertensive patients to improve and increase dietary compliance in order to maintain the patient's blood pressure levels.

Abstract

Intra Uterine Device (IUD) is a tool or object that is inserted into uterus which is very effective, reversible and long term, and can be used by all women of reproductive age. The choice of contraceptive method can be influenced by several factors are knowledge, age, education, and parity, husband's support, etc. Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the low use of IUDs in women of childbearing age at Bertha Inpatient Primary Clinic 2023. Methods: This type of research is descriptive. The population of all women of childbearing age as many as 43 respondents. The sampling technique is accidental sampling. Data collection uses primary data with questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate for frequency distribution. Results: The results of 43 respondents have knowledge about IUD family planning are 69.8% poor category. Husband's support by positive category are 93%. In receiving family planning information are 95% in positive category. It can be concluded that the low use of IUDs is due to the knowledge factor of women of childbearing age, the majority of whom have low knowledge about IUD contraception at Bertha Inpatient Primary Clinic 2023.

Abstract

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death after lung cancer and is the main cause of cancer death in women. In treating breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, family support is very necessary and important concern for breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy through family support so that sufferers have hope and a purpose in life. The aim of this study was to determine family support for patients undergoing breast cancer chemotherapy in the chemotherapy room at Santa Elisabeth Hospital, Medan. This research uses a qualitative method where data collection is carried out by interviews with 5 questions. The sampling technique is uses purposive sampling, namely by reducing respondents from the total population used with a total of 5 participants. Inclusion criteria are the general characteristics of research subjects from population that can be accessed and will be researched (Nursalam 2020). The inclusion criteria in were: patients aged over 30 years and patients who had undergone chemotherapy more than once. The data analysis technique used is thematic analysis with research results: family support is encouragement given by the family to breast cancer chemotherapy patients, support that can be given to breast cancer chemotherapy patients is in the form of praise from the family, family support can be seen from behavior that takes over the work of chemotherapy patients breast cancer, Family support provides open or non-confidential information to breast cancer chemotherapy patients. Abstract

In Indonesia, the number of hospitalizations in children reaches 2.3% of the total population in Indonesia. This study aims to see a picture of pediatric hospitalization at Harapan Sehat Hospital throughout 2022. This research is descriptive using medical record data in the hospital SIMRS application. It was found that female patients and the age range between 3 - 18 years were the most common. Likewise, typhoid fever cases are the most common diagnoses. This research is very useful to be one of the foundations of future National Health policies in Indonesia, especially in West Aceh. So that the health of Indonesian children can be healthier to welcome a better future for Indonesia.

Abstract

In dealing with the complex problems of SEZs, lecturers and students of STIKes Mitra Husada Medan through grants from the Partnership-Based UMKM Development program produce PMT (Additional Food Packages) nutritious food Green Bean Cookies and Peanut Honey by utilizing the potential of local food and education pattern consumption. PMB Sarfina as place health services where the reach of this clinic business is expected to become wider with the implementation of innovation, digitalization and participation in the prevention of SEZ through technology in the service process health. Research methods This is study observational analytical with a cross sectional design. Participants are prospective brides, pregnant women and postpartum mothers who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Retrieval and collection of research data was carried out using the probability purposive sampling method. A total of 82 participants took part in study This. This research was conducted at the PMB Sarfina Br Sembiring clinic in November-December 2023. Results & Conclusions are available influence participation, innovation, technology in reducing CED in prospective brides and grooms, pregnant women, and anticipating the problem of malnutrition in postpartum mothers. However, it has level insufficient knowledge in utilization Heath Store Partner Web Technology.

Abstract

Childbirth is an important and always memorable event in a woman's life. Every woman has her own birth experience that she can share with others. Based on the results of Basic Health Research (Riskesdas), births assisted by competent health workers were 70.4%, but 29.6% were carried out by non-health workers/quacks. The aim of this research was to analyze factors related to mothers in choosing birth attendants in Lantosan village. This research is a descriptive analysis research using a cross sectional research design. The population in this study was all 45 pregnant women domiciled in Lantosan village with a sampling technique, namely total sampling. The research results showed that there was a relationship between education, knowledge, attitudes, accessibility, economic status and family support in selecting a birth attendant with a p value of 0.000. It is hoped that pregnant women will actively check their pregnancies, carry out pregnancy consultations and assist with childbirth by health workers
