Abstract

In counseling in the form of community service for the Oikumene Protestant Christian Church (GKPO) Kartosuro which was carried out by a lecturer in the Environmental Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Christian University of Technology Solo regarding the use of organic waste to produce eco enzymes, giving hope and benefits about utilizing good and sustainable organic waste. Processing organic waste from home also contributes to mothers in their respective households each to support the local government program of Sukoharjo Regency in controlling waste generation and producing eco enzyme products that directly benefit their respective families. The result of this community service activity is that PA GKPO Kartosura mothers received information on how to process organic waste into eco enzyme.

Abstract

The Regional Superior Product Development Program activities will be carried out at the Tunas Jati Livestock Farmer Group located in Banjar Kauh Getasan Village, Petang District, Badung Regency. This livestock farmer group is engaged in the business of raising Balinese cattle and has been in existence since 2018. The number of livestock owned in this group is 30 heads, with a total of 8 members. In Bali cattle farming, feed will always play an important role in producing good livestock productivity.  The problem partners face is their lack of knowledge about quality feed and their lack of ownership of superior greenery that can encourage better livestock productivity.  The solutions provided to partners are 1) the introduction or planting of superior forage fodder, 2) Making various applications of technology that can improve and preserve forage feed, and 3) Processing livestock waste into high-value products. The output target to be achieved is TTG Technology for processing and preserving forage feed.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought attention to the importance of family resilience, particularly in economic aspects. Family financial planning plays a crucial role in establishing resilience during times of crisis. This community service program seeks to enhance financial literacy and promote Islamic financial planning among mothers who are responsible for managing family finances. The approach involves engaging in interactive discussions, Q&A sessions, and practical exercises. Topics covered include financial assessments, managing cash flow, creating emergency funds, handling social contributions, understanding the Islamic perspective on wealth, planning for education and healthcare expenses, and implementing ZISWAF (Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf). The outcome of this service is to foster comprehension and application of Islamic financial planning within families.

Abstract

The preparation of the Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBDes) is a public document for villages in the next year. For this reason, the APBDes must be prepared properly by involving various stakeholders so that it will be reflected in relation to village revenues and expenditures, besides that the APBDes is a form of transparency in the implementation of development in the village. This socialization aims to provide insight and knowledge to village apparatus in preparing the APBDes in Jorong District, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service was to disseminate knowledge on Data Science to lecturers and students enrolled in the Information Systems Program Study at Cenderawasih University. Through a webinar series, participants learned about the importance of data science and analytics. This initiative aims to integrate Data Science into the curriculum, which is currently in its final stages. The introduction of a Data Science course expects to enhance the competencies of human resources in Papua, supporting the developmental efforts of the Indonesian Government. Feedback from participants indicates their satisfaction with the speakers, fulfillment of expectations, and acquisition of new knowledge. Considering their input, the upcoming activity will organize as a workshop.

Abstract

Vacuum packaging is one way to extend the shelf life of dry food products. Dry fish lemuru is one of the regional superior products in Jembrana Regency, Bali. Processing of these fishery products has been produced and marketed by them, but not yet intensively, and they want to increase the quantity and quality. This community did not have prior knowledge in the field of business management, so they experienced obstacles in managing production and marketing. Solutions made to solve the problems faced by them were: providing appropriate technology in processing the fish products as well as storing and packaging with vacuum packaging methods including marketing, and business management. The output targets achieved were appropriate technology for traditional fishery processing; increased turnover; increased product quality and quantity.

Abstract

A Banana is a fruit that can bear fruit regardless of the season. Bananas can grow in upland and lowland areas. Bananas are mostly produced in Asahduren Village, a village located in Pekutatan District, which is 75 km from the provincial capital of Bali. This very abundant banana fruit causes the community to be overwhelmed, so many are wasted after being used for traditional ceremonies. Therefore, community service is carried out with counseling methods, training, and product manufacturing practices. The community was given knowledge about processing bananas into banana chips snacks, processed banana jam, banana flour, banana sale, banana brownies and banana cakes, packaging, storage, marketing, entrepreneurship, and business management. With the skill of processing bananas into processed products, the group's income can increase.

Abstract

Sukopuro Village is one of the areas in Jabung District, Malang Regency, which consists of 13 RWs (Rukun Warga) and 53 RTs (Rukun Tetangga). In the last two years, almost all nations of the world, including Indonesia, have experienced the COVID-19 pandemic, according to data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, starting from the announcement of President Joko Widodo's first case on March 2 2020, a total of 6,046,467 cases were recorded with 5,882,062 recovered cases. and cases of death amounted to 156,240. Three important points of the proposed program Disaster resilient families (Katana), namely: (1) Katana can become a pillar of community and family resilience against disaster risk; (2) Katana must involve vulnerable groups, children, pregnant women, the elderly and women; and (3) Katana utilizes the closest community institutions that already exist in their environment.

Abstract

Community service is carried out by the Faculty of Law at the Christian University of Indonesia by providing legal counseling on national health insurance as fulfillment of the right to public health. This activity was held by the Singasari Village Office which is located at Jl. Cihaur Raya No. 17 Jonggol, Bogor. The method used is to provide counseling/lectures. The results legal counseling are “very effective considering that there are still many people who do not get information on the national health insurance provided by the Government. With this legal counseling, the community will become aware of this program and what benefits can be obtained, such as the existence of multiple benefits, medically and non-medically.”
